The sun started to peek through the windows as the morning light shines through. Lily woke up first Max laying half on her his head buried in her breast. They're were more intricate symbols stretching and weaving over spirals and shooting-star like lines and dots along our skin. He rolled off her as she sees a crescent moon just above his heart with more wisps and swirls, symbols rolling around like ribbons that shimmered in light. Lily had never seen such intricate designs before and each one was very unique. Still having kept the same form she moved her hand away not wanting to wake him.
"Don't. Don't do that. Don't hide from me no matter what. I don't want you to ever think you are alone. I seen you struggle so hard with Alisa and work hard at staying away from her, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have her problems too," he said holding her closer to his side. Lily leaned in letting silent tears fall, releasing years of fear. Fear of being different in a way from what was considered "normal". He just let her cry, holding her close soothing the tired worn out spirit.
Catching her breath wiping tears away to look up at Max lovingly, "Thank you, I know you said all that before, but I guess it been hard to believe when I've been alone for what seems like forever. I will try to work on my belief in you, okay?" He smiled down at her kissing the end of her nose, "That's all I was hoping for. I should have done more for you, but the closer I was to you the harder is was to leave. I only stayed away to keep you safe and let you grow as a person, which everyone should have. Please don't feel so alone anymore I am here to stay and I won't ever leave you alone," he said and kissing her to reinforce his claim. She melted into him feeling all the comfort and love that this man carries in that kiss.
The tender moment leads to them laying in the bed kissing and caressing each other until the sun was shine brightly into the afternoon. Max leaned over to check his phone after it beeping 4 times. He had ignored mind link attempts from Wade as well " Wade messaged me, Rogues are on the move again and this time in numbers. You can come with me or stay here, but I would feel better if you came with. Cassie will more than likely be there, she and him hunt together and I know you two are fairly good friends."
Lily nodding in agreement, "Yes, we are friends. We both don't always get along with the other females in the pack so we stick close to each other at public events. I'll go with you, I might be able to sense something and let you know if its important." Lily scooted to the edge of the bed and got up walking to the bathroom.
Feeling her powers she imagined cloths that would fit and look good even with my new look and suddenly she felt material on her skin. She watched him walk into his closet to change while still wrapping her head around the fact that Max was all but naked in front of her. Shaking herself remembering that they have more important things to do. She grabs a coat from the small closet next to his loft stairs.
Max walks over to the coat rack and grabs his coat putting it on than standing next to the door says, "Ready?" Lily look around grabbing a wallet and phone. "Don't worry about the door I've got a guy who does this work. I called him last night and he'll be here later today. I know you weren't wanting to show yourself, but I don't think we'll get the time we want to figure out whats happening with you," he said as they walked down to his bike.
"I had a feeling it would be this way. Well i had a few hours to try processing this.Into the fire we go." she said hoping on the bike. Max made sure her arms were around his waist before driving off to the rouge site.
