"It's a gathering quest; you'll need to gather a plant called the moon glow; it grows inside a dungeon quite far from the village," She replied.
"In a dungeon, what beast occupies the dungeon?" Raze asked.
"Wolves" she replied.
'Damn, she's sending me to my death, in the beginner forest they're two dungeons, one is inhabited by slimes, while the other one is inhabited by wolves, and that's where the level 20 dungeon boss resides'
"You can leave the quest if you're not up for it; it'll be taken to a much stronger adventurer," the girl said.
"I'll take it," Raze replied; it was a gathering quest, meaning he didn't need to fight the dungeon boss; he could just sneak in, get the moon glow, and sneak out.

When he thought about it in his head, it was funny; the quest paid much more because running into beasts was a high possibility, and it was almost guaranteed to happen.
"Here, this is the drawing of a moon glow, and behind is the location of the dungeon; good luck," the girl spoke.
"Just one moon glow?" Raze asked.
"Yes, you would be lucky to see two moon glow plants growing in the same place, and when uprooting the plant be very careful, it's quite delicate so you have to dig it out"
"What if I bring back two, would my reward be double?" Raze asked.
"You won't see two unless you're planning to get deeper into the dungeon after seeing the first one, but for everyone you bring back, you get two silver coins," the girl replied.
"I have another question: do you buy Beast crystal?"
"Yes, 50 bronze coins for an F-tier and 100 for an E-tier beast crystal," she replied.
Raze currently has 8 crystals, meaning if he sold all of them, he would have 450 bronze coins; it still wouldn't be enough to buy a spellbook if he sold them, so he was going to hold onto them.
Raze walked out of the building and headed straight to the forest; the map he was given was just a path; he didn't know how many meters away the cave was, but it was an easy path to follow since other significant things like a rock and a large tree were drawn too.

'I thought as much, it requires 5 Mana per shot, and with 50 Mana, I have 10 shots in total, my Mana is refilled when I level up or I'll have to wait for my Mana recovery which is 1 Mana in 30 seconds, if I run out of Mana I'll have to run around for 2+ minutes while being chased by a beast, certainly not practical'

Raze finally entered the forest. He ran through several scenarios in case his Mana was depleted and how to solve them, but he was going into a wolf's dungeon.
Wolves are not at the bottom of the food chain, but for players, wolves are among the weakest beasts, but their power is in their numbers; unless a wolf is A or S-tier, they can never be alone; they always have a pack.
Raze walked through the forest as quietly as he could; he was in the forest, so there are other beasts that he could encounter.
Raze stopped as he heard rustling sounds, the sounds continued, and slowly, he moved towards where the sounds were coming from, hiding behind trees as he moved, and then he saw a rabbit eating.
"Just a rabbit, I thought it was something else" Raze spoke as he moved away from the tree.
The rabbit heard him and turned around; then Raze saw a horn on its head; he thought it was a normal rabbit, but it wasn't, and it was staring at him.

The rabbit let out a shriek and charged toward Raze, but before it could make a move by jumping to attack with it's horn, it was blasted by a fireball spell and fell to the ground.

The rabbit's body disintegrates, leaving a small beast crystal, fur, and a horn.
"5 XP, rabbit aren't supposed to be classified as beasts though they do kill players so I suppose"
Rabbits aren't on the food chain; they are fodder beasts for other beasts to kill, so they don't have a tier and reach only level 5.
Beasts level up, upgrade, and evolve when they absorb crystal core, which is beast crystal, so creatures like rabbits can be killed by wolves, increasing their levels till they evolve; an F-tier beast that has consumed enough crystal can evolve to E-tier and so on.
Raze picked up the items the rabbit dropped, placing the horn and fur in his inventory, and held the crystal in his hands.
