"Kaleb said a natural way, though I thought of strangling you earlier. But thinking through, that witch would definitely notice it with the left eye of hers." Thelma sat on the bed, her back straight on the headboard with her legs crossed though not quite visible under her gown.
"Blades are out of the question. Smashing and bruises won't work too— gosh meatloaf, you're even gonna have an easy death. You nobles sure have things easy till the end, hm."
*BUZZ!
Light flashed in the room for a second as something went past the window, immediately catching Thelma's attention. Curious, she quickly got off the bed and headed for the window to get a look at whatever it was. Raising her gown up a bit, as she ran and wasn't prepared to trip and fall.
Meanwhile, struggling to work on his brakes still speeding through the air. Vrabam finally came to a stop in the air, getting a hold of himself once again. Sighing, he looked around for something or anything, a hole or crack yet nothing could be seen. Moreover, it seemed familiar to him though every part of the mansion almost looked the same. He decided to fly back a few meters away, probably that would jolt his memory. After all, he could have long found a path in and forgotten about it— thanks to his puny brain now punier being in a small head.
Having an fps[flap per second] of 80, Vrabam found himself moving so fast he covered a five meters distance in less than three seconds. About reaching the window frame, the window suddenly came in the way as it flew open, and also did a face too pop out. Acting quickly, he barely avoided the window though one of his six wings being a part of the three to the left, tore off. However, having avoided the window the same couldn't be said about the face. As before both parties knew it, Vrabam had crashed onto her nose bridge— painlessly.
"It's on me, it's on meee!!" Stunned and taken by surprise, Thelma panicked pushing herself back into the room. Losing her balance she fell onto the floor, her eyes trying to focus on the thing currently on her face. Fright danced all over her face as when it moved, her vocal buttons were turned on to the max volume.
"AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" Her shriek was loud enough to bring a dead man back to life, not Zlatan of course— well it wasn't as if he was dead right.
However, the high pitched scream woke Vrabam up from death's sleep, as confused as he was now. He could see a pair of sapphires on both sides, they were on him and close the where he was. Cluelessly, he moved up and as she felt it, that just worsened up the situation instead.
"No! No!" She shook her head hard, trying to get him off yet that was even when Vrabam held on tighter— who wouldn't when their lives were at stake, although they couldn't die. Seeing no results, her hand moved up her face and with a finger. Though she hesitated for a second, gathering the courage to do it.
Vrabam watched, grabbing tighter to the skin like a kid not wanting to live the ice cream stand. The finger held back by another was released from its hold. As reaching him, the finger rose and anticipating it would miss him. He was wrong for the tip had yet to come, and it drew near Vrabam saw Dr dosaw himself in flight without by BB apping.
*BAM!
*THUD!
Thelma watched as the bug smashed into the wall before falling back onto the ground. Staring for a while, it didn't flinch for a while, and this finally calmed her down.
"Phew, that sure wasn't fun." She sighed, resting back at the sides of the bed with her head on the foam above the wood.
After a moment of rest, she was back on her feet with her mind off the previous event. As looking at Zlatan, she caught sight of the pillows under his head, and that instantly brought what she'd call the perfect idea into her mind. Grinning, she climbed up the bed, and went to grab one of the two pillows which his head lay on. Pressing it and checking whether it was suitable for her plans, being soft and big enough for her to use it without much effort. Thus to ensure she did it comfortablly, her had went up to her chest. As drawing out the dark purple and blank scroll, she kept it to her side and an easy–to–grab–it–fast distance away.
Mounting herself on top of Zlatan, taking a seat at the lower part of his chest for any further downwards was his inflated belly, which wouldn't have her goal fulfilled. Comfortable, she grabbed the pillow and looked down at the seemingly lifeless figure, though still breathing. And so carefully placing the object on his face, she applied pressure at its center.
Meanwhile, on the flooring where the firefly fell, a faint glow could be seen at its abdomen. Slowly, its legs started to move and then the wings followed suit twitching, as it came back to life once again.
"Mmph! mm!" Applying more pressure she could feel movement beneath her, a grin propping up her face knowing he was almost a goner. Pressing on as tight as could, not being a spiritualist after all— since that would have simply made it quick work. Something moved at the corners of her eyes, not realizing it at first. It finally drew her attention when it buzzed, it's abdomen shining brighter.
"Aaaaaahhhhhhh!!!" Thelma yelled out, having casually turned just to see it again.
"Aaaaahhhhhhhh!!!" Vrabam also yelled out too, though it sounded as 'Tzzzzzzzzzzzt!!!' instead.
"Huh?!" Her brain short-circuited for a moment.
"Huh?![Zzzzt?!]"
"Did you just— I think I'm daydreaming again." Thelma placed a hand on her forehead to check her temperature. "Yup, I am. This not real. Right?" She pretended to look around, her suddenly change of behavior going completely unoticed.
"Not real?" Vrabam buzzed, still fuzzy and unable to connect all that had happened before his death yet. "But, it's night right." He turned to look out the window, seeing the night sky which only puzzled him more. However, that was all Thelma needed, a simple turn as one couldn't the get an insect so easily.
*SWOOSH!
"Ummm?" Vrabam was still in deep thoughts, bringing all fragments of memory slower to himself than he could in seconds as a cat instead. After all, everything had its advantages and disadv—
*WHAM!
*SSSWEEEEEEE!
*THUD!
"Yash, hehehee. Best shot ever!" She celebrated cheerfully, hearing a distant thud as the scroll got a landing. Despite that, a thought knocked on the door of her mind the next second as a realization hit her hard. "Wait, did I have two scrolls or one?"
