Chapter 24 - hunting lessons and muscle training

As the family helped Lyriath settle into his new quarters, a sense of normalcy began to return to their lives. Mother, made sure Lyriath was comfortable and had everything he needed, while Father, checked in on him regularly to monitor his progress.

Meanwhile, me, Vyraxys, Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix tried to return to their usual routines, but it was clear that Lyriath's transformation had left a lasting impact on them.

One day, as i was out exploring the castle grounds, he stumbled upon Lyriath sitting alone on a bench, staring out at the sky. I hesitated for a moment, wondering if he should approach his brother, but something about Lyriath's posture seemed to invite him over.

"Hey, Lyriath," i said softly, sitting down beside him. "What's on your mind?"

Lyriath turned to him, his dark and blood-red scales glinting in the sunlight. "Just thinking about everything that's happened," he said, his voice low and contemplative. "I don't know how to deal with this new...me."

I nodded sympathetically. "I can imagine. But you know we're all here for you, right? We'll support you no matter what."

Lyriath's gaze drifted back to the sky. "Thanks, Tharros. That means a lot coming from you."

As they sat there in silence, i realized that Lyriath's transformation was not just physical, but also emotional. His brother was struggling to come to terms with his new identity, and it was up to Tharros and the rest of the family to support him every step of the way.

But just as i was starting to feel a sense of hope, a faint rumbling noise echoed through the air, making the ground tremble beneath their feet...

The rumbling noise grew louder, and the ground trembled more violently. My claws gripped the rocky floor of their mountain cave, his eyes locked onto Lyriath in alarm.

"What's happening?" Lyriath asked, his voice tight with concern, his dark and blood-red scales glinting in the flickering torchlight.

I shook his head. "I don't know, but I think we should get deeper into the cave."

As we turned to head deeper into the cave, the rumbling noise stopped, and an eerie silence fell over the mountain. Me and Lyriath exchanged a wary glance.

Suddenly, a faint tremor ran through the cave, causing the torches to flicker wildly. Tharros's ears perked up, and he growled softly, his scales bristling with unease.

Lyriath's eyes narrowed, his claws extended. "What's going on, Tharros?" he whispered.

I gaze scanned the darkness, his heart pounding in his chest. "I don't know, but I think we're about to find out."

As the tremor subsided, Father, the patriarch of the family, emerged from the depths of the cave, his albino scales glowing softly in the dim light.

"What's going on?" he asked, his voice calm and authoritative.

I explained the strange occurrence, and Aetherius listened intently, his expression thoughtful.

Mother, the matriarch, joined them, her light green scales shimmering with concern.

"Is everyone all right?" she asked, her eyes scanning the group.

The family nodded, and mother turned to Father.

"What do you think it was?" she asked.

Aetherius hesitated, his gaze drifting into the darkness.

"I'm not sure," he admitted, "but I think we should be prepared for anything."

As Father finished speaking, the family fell silent, lost in their own thoughts. My mind was racing with possibilities, trying to make sense of the strange occurrence.

Lyriath, still getting used to his new appearance, seemed withdrawn, his dark and blood-red scales glistening in the dim light.

Vyraxys, ever the curious one, spoke up, his dark bronze scales glinting with excitement. "Do you think it's something to do with the ancient magic that runs through the mountains?"

Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix looked at each other nervously, their scales shimmering with unease.

Mother placed a reassuring claw on Vyraxys's shoulder. "We'll figure it out, together. But for now, let's focus on getting some rest. We can discuss this further in the morning."

The family nodded, and began to disperse, seeking the comfort of their cozy nests. Tharros, however, lingered, his eyes fixed on Lyriath, who seemed lost in thought.

"Hey, Lyriath?" Tharros said softly, his silver scales glinting in the dim light.

Lyriath looked up, his eyes locking onto Tharros's. "Yeah?"

I hesitated, unsure of how to ask the question that had been bothering him. "Are you...okay? With everything that's happened?"

Lyriath's gaze drifted away, his expression unreadable. "I don't know, Tharros. I'm still trying to figure that out."

I nodded understandingly, his silver scales glinting in the dim light. "I'm here for you, Lyriath. We all are."

Lyriath's gaze drifted back to me, and for a moment, they just looked at each other. Then, without a word, Lyriath turned and disappeared into the darkness, leaving me to wonder what was going on in his brother's mind.

As i settled into his nest, he couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. The strange occurrence earlier, Lyriath's withdrawn behavior...it all seemed to be connected to something bigger.

My eyes grew heavy, but his mind remained alert, racing with possibilities. He knew that he had to be vigilant, to protect his family and uncover the truth behind the strange happenings.

As i drifted off to sleep, my silver scales seemed to shimmer with a newfound determination. He was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, to defend his family and uncover the secrets that threatened their peace.

Pov Aetherius

I settled into my nest, my albino scales glowing softly in the dim light of our mountain cave. My mind was still reeling from the strange occurrence earlier, the tremors that had shaken our home.

As the patriarch of our family, it was my duty to ensure everyone's safety and well-being. I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was amiss, that the tremors were just a symptom of a larger problem.

I thought about my children, each of them unique and precious in their own way. Tharros, my eldest, was growing into a strong and responsible young dragon. Lyriath, my son who had undergone the mysterious transformation, was still adjusting to his new form. And then there were the younger ones, Vyraxys, Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix, each of them full of energy and curiosity.

My mate, Thyriatrix, settled in beside me, her light green scales glowing softly in the dim light. "Aetherius, what's troubling you?" she asked, her voice low and soothing.

I turned to her, my eyes locking onto hers. "I don't know, my love," I admitted. "But I have a feeling that something is coming, something that will challenge our family and our way of life."

Thyriatrix's expression turned serious, her eyes narrowing. "We'll face it together, as a family," she said, her voice firm and resolute.

I nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude and love for my mate. Together, we would face whatever challenges lay ahead, and we would emerge stronger and more united than ever.

I thought,'I should take a picture of them to my parents and siblings and my 2 best friend' kaeilith, who is an elder counsel and a smartest elder and he is 2 years older than me and their is varkorus not the smart friend and make bad ideas for everyone and Kealith have to clean his mess at thought he see varkorus as an idiot he does appreciate it of varkorus understanding of the landscape

As I gazed at my family, I thought to myself, "I should take a picture of them to send to my parents and siblings, as well as my two best friends, Kaeilith and Varkorus."

Kaeilith, the elder counsel, was not only wise but also incredibly intelligent. He was two years older than me, and I had always looked up to him for guidance. Despite his sharp mind, Kaeilith often found himself cleaning up the messes created by Varkorus, who was not exactly known for his clever ideas.

Still, Varkorus had a unique understanding of the landscape, which Kaeilith appreciated, even if he didn't always appreciate Varkorus's antics. I chuckled to myself, thinking about the dynamic between my two friends.

I focused my thoughts, creating a mental image of my family. I could almost see the picture in my mind's eye: Thyriatrix, my lovely mate, surrounded by our children - Tharros, Lyriath, Vyraxys, Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix. I smiled, feeling grateful for this moment of peace, and I knew that Kaeilith and Varkorus would love to see the picture.

Then I sent the images to them, and I grap Tharros and place him under my wing since it is his safe haven and take a picture of him sleeping under my wing

"Aetherius, I've been thinking," Thyriatrix said, her voice thoughtful. "Perhaps we should gather the family and discuss what happened yesterday. We need to figure out what's going on and how to keep everyone safe."

I shook my head and sigh "no we should do that in the starlight gathering meeting where all dragons in this clan meet one another"

Thyriatrix's expression turned thoughtful, and she nodded slowly. "You're right, Aetherius. The Starlight Gathering is the perfect opportunity to discuss this with the entire clan. We can share our concerns and hear the wisdom of the other dragons."

I nodded in agreement, feeling a sense of relief that we had a plan. "Yes, and perhaps Kaeilith can offer some insight as well. His knowledge of the ancient lore may be invaluable in understanding what's happening."

Thyriatrix smiled, her eyes shining with a hint of excitement. "I'll make sure to invite him personally. The Starlight Gathering is just a few nights away. Let's hope we can find some answers."

I sent the images of tharros sleeping under my wing

Kaeilith's response came swiftly, his mental voice filled with warmth. "Ah, Aetherius, I've received your message. I'm looking forward to discussing the strange occurrences with you at the Starlight Gathering."

My parents and siblings sent a message to my mind and read it they have seen the hatchling from the picture I have sent

I smiled, feeling a warmth in my heart as I read the messages from my family. My mother, Lyraea, sent a gentle reminder to make sure Tharros was eating enough, while my father, Erian, expressed his pride in being a grandfather. My siblings, Elyria, Kaidën, Althaeon, Namarie, and Zephyr, all sent their own messages, each one filled with love and excitement for the new hatchling.

Lyraea (Mother): "Aetherius, dear, make sure Tharros is eating enough. We can't wait to meet the little one."

Erian (Father): "Aetherius, I'm so proud of you, son. Being a grandfather is wonderful! Can't wait to see Tharros soon."

Elyria (Older Sister): "Aww, Aetherius, Tharros is adorable! I want to spoil the little one rotten."

Kaidën (Older Brother): "Haha, nice job, Aetherius! Tharros is going to be a fierce dragon one day."

Althaeon (Younger Brother): "Whoa, Aetherius, Tharros is so cool! Can I play with the little one when I visit?"

Namarie (Younger Sister): "Aetherius, Tharros is precious! I want to draw a picture of the little one."

Zephyr (Youngest Brother): "Yay, Aetherius! Tharros is awesome! Can we have a playdate soon?"

Lyraea (Mother): "Aetherius, dear, Tharros is precious!

I shook my head, clearing my mind of the messages from my family. I needed to focus on the task at hand, preparing for the Starlight Gathering and discussing the strange occurrences with Kaeilith. I took a deep breath, letting my thoughts settle, and began to make my way to the gathering spot.

Thyriatrix nuzzled me gently, I smiled, feeling a warmth in my heart as I wrapped my claws gently around Thyriatrix, returning the affectionate nuzzle. "I'm okay, my love," I said softly. "Just a bit distracted with everything that's been happening."

I gently adjusted my wing, making sure Tharros was still comfortable and secure. Thyriatrix smiled and nuzzled our hatchling gently, and I could sense her love and adoration for our little one. The three of us sat there in comfortable silence, enjoying each other's company.

I spoke, "Let get some sleep!"

Thyriatrix nodded in agreement, and we both settled in for a well-deserved rest. I wrapped my wings protectively around Tharros, feeling grateful for this moment of peace with my loved ones. As I drifted off to sleep, I felt Thyriatrix's gentle snores and Tharros's soft breathing, and I knew that everything was right with the world.

Pov Tharros

I snuggled deeper into the warm, scaly pocket of Aetherius's wing, feeling safe and content. The gentle rise and fall of his chest as he breathed was soothing, and I let out a tiny sigh of happiness. Thyriatrix's soft nuzzles and gentle hums added to the cozy atmosphere, and I drifted off to sleep, surrounded by the love and warmth of my parents.

The darkness of the cave was absolute, the only sound the soft rustling of scales and the gentle hum of sleeping dragons. My father's wing still cradled me, his chest rising and falling with each peaceful breath. Mother lay beside us, her eyes closed in slumber. The rest of the clan was similarly still, lost in their own dreams. The midnight hour hung over us like a quiet blanket, wrapping us in a soothing silence.

As I stirred, my father's wing instinctively tightened slightly around me, holding me close. He didn't wake, but his gentle hum deepened, a soothing vibration that seemed to lull me back into a peaceful state. I snuggled deeper into the warmth of his wing, feeling safe and protected.

I lifted my silver color paw or claws and nudged at Father albino scales

My father's scales shimmered softly in the dim light of the cave as I nudged them with my small, silver claws. He stirred slightly, his wing relaxing its grip on me as he shifted in his sleep. A low, rumbling growl vibrated through his chest, a gentle, sleepy sound that seemed to say, "Not yet, little one... sleep a bit longer."

The dark from outside of my safe haven of my father wing looked scary

I shrank back into the warmth and safety of my father's wing, my eyes fixed on the dark, mysterious space beyond. The shadows seemed to loom and twist, like living things, and I felt a tiny shiver run down my spine. My father's wing felt like a sturdy shield, protecting me from the unknown dangers that lurked in the darkness. I nestled deeper into his warmth, feeling grateful for his presence.

I whimpered loudly

My father's eyes snapped open, and he gazed down at me with a warm, concerned expression. He nudged me gently with his snout, making soft, soothing sounds to calm me down. "Shh, little one," he whispered, "you're safe. Father's here."

As my father's wing folded, I felt exposed and vulnerable, my heart racing with a sudden surge of fear. I let out a high-pitched whimper, my eyes wide with anxiety as I clung to my father's scales, desperate to feel safe again. The darkness outside seemed to close in around me, and I trembled with fear, unsure of what was happening.

I covered my paws/claws on my eyes

I peeked through my claws, my eyes still wide with fear, and saw my father's gentle face looking down at me. He was smiling softly, his eyes warm with reassurance. He reached out with his snout and gently nudged my claws away from my eyes. "Don't hide, little one," he whispered. "Father's here. You're safe."

I feel someone grap me and my fear increases

I let out a terrified squeak as I felt myself being lifted away from my father's warm scales. My claws flailed wildly, trying to grasp onto something, anything, to hold onto. My heart was racing, and my breath came in short, panicked gasps. I was being pulled into the darkness, away from my father's safety, and I didn't know what was happening or where I was being taken.

He placed me back to the ground in front of him

I stood there, still clinging to my father's scales, looking up at him with big, round eyes. He chuckled softly and nudged me gently with his snout, as if to say "it's okay, little one". I took a deep breath, feeling a bit more calm, and slowly let go of his scales, standing on my own four paws.

Father then lick my silver scales

I closed my eyes, feeling a sense of calm and comfort wash over me as my father's warm, gentle tongue stroked my silver scales. It was a soothing, reassuring sensation, and I felt my fears and worries melting away. I leaned into his touch, feeling grateful for his love and care.

As my father continued to lick my scales, I felt my muscles relax, and my breathing slow. It was a calming, peaceful sensation, and I felt myself becoming sleepy. My father's tongue was warm and gentle, and it seemed to wash away all my worries and fears. I leaned into his touch, feeling safe and protected, and let out a soft, contented sigh.

My father's licking slowed, and he gently nuzzled me with his snout, as if to check that I was okay. I opened my eyes, looking up at him with a sense of calm and trust. He smiled, his eyes warm with love, and settled down beside me, his scales glinting in the dim light. I snuggled up against him, feeling safe and protected, and let out a soft yawn. My father wrapped his tail around me, holding me close, and I drifted off to sleep, lulled by the sound of his gentle breathing.

As I slept, I felt my father's warmth and protection enveloping me, keeping me safe from any harm. His scales seemed to shimmer and glow in the dim light, casting a gentle, soothing spell over me. I slept deeply, my dreams filled with visions of flying through the skies with my father, the wind rushing past us as we soared through the clouds. When I finally woke, I felt refreshed and renewed, my fears and worries forgotten. My father was still beside me, his eyes watchful and caring. He smiled as I stirred, and nudged me gently with his snout. "Time to wake up, little one," he whispered.

I stretched, arching my back and extending my claws, giving a good yawn to signal the start of my day. My father chuckled, a low rumbling sound, and stood up, his scales glinting in the morning light. "Come, little one," he said, "it's time to hunt. You need to learn how to catch your own food." I perked up at the suggestion, my ears folding back in excitement. I had watched my father hunt before, and I was eager to try it out for myself. I followed him out of our cave, into the bright sunlight, and we set off across the landscape, searching for our prey.

I perked up at the suggestion, my ears folding back in excitement. I had watched my father hunt before, and I was eager to try it out for myself. I followed him out of our cave, into the bright sunlight, and we set off across the landscape, searching for our prey.

We found a behemoth, and my father decided to kill it

My eyes widened as I gazed up at the behemoth, its massive body towering over us like a living mountain. I had never seen anything so huge and intimidating before. My father, however, seemed undaunted. He let out a fierce roar, and his body began to glow with a fierce, golden light. His scales seemed to shimmer and harden, becoming razor-sharp and deadly. I watched in awe as he charged forward, his claws flashing in the sunlight. The behemoth, sensing its danger, let out a deafening bellow and swung its massive club-like fist at my father. But he was too quick, dodging the blow with ease and striking back with a powerful swipe of his claws.

The behemoth roared in pain as my father's claws tore into its thick hide, but it refused to go down. It counterattacked, its massive body charging forward like a living avalanche. My father leapt into the air, avoiding the behemoth's crushing blow by mere inches. He landed gracefully on the ground, his wings beating swiftly as he launched himself at the behemoth once more. The battle raged on, the two titans clashing in a flurry of claws, teeth, and scales. I watched in awe, my heart pounding with excitement and fear. My father was a force to be reckoned with, but the behemoth was a formidable foe. Who would emerge victorious?

I let out a triumphant cry as my father delivered the final blow, his claws slicing through the behemoth's thick neck and ending its life. The massive creature crashed to the ground, sending shockwaves through the earth. My father stood victorious, his chest heaving with exhaustion, his scales glistening with sweat. He let out a mighty roar, proclaiming his dominance over the land. I approached him, my eyes shining with admiration and pride. He nudged me gently with his snout, as if to say "well done, little one, for watching and learning". Together, we stood over the behemoth's lifeless body, a testament to my father's strength and power.

My father began to tear into the behemoth's flesh, his claws ripping apart the thick hide with ease. I watched, fascinated, as he devoured the creature's meat, his hunger finally sated. After he finished eating, he looked at me and nodded. "Now it's your turn, little one," he said, his voice low and rumbling. "You must learn to feed yourself, to survive on your own." He nudged me towards the behemoth's carcass, encouraging me to take a bite. I hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do. But my father's expectant gaze urged me on, and I finally took a tentative bite of the behemoth's flesh. The taste was rich and savory, and I found myself wanting more.

I continued to eat, my hunger and curiosity driving me to take bite after bite. My father watched me with a proud smile, his eyes shining with approval. As I ate, I could feel my strength and energy growing, my body nourished by the rich meat. When I finally finished, my father nodded in satisfaction. "Well done, little one," he said. "You are learning quickly. Now, let us return to our cave and rest. We have had a big day." I nodded, feeling tired but content, and followed my father as he led the way back to our cave. As we walked, I couldn't help but feel grateful for my father's guidance and protection. I knew that I still had much to learn, but with him by my side, I felt ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

As I finish eating, I am so full and have massive stomach pain

I doubled over, clutching my stomach in agony. The pain was intense, a sharp, stabbing sensation that seemed to radiate from my belly and spread throughout my body. I felt like I was going to burst, my stomach groaning under the pressure of the massive meal I had just devoured. My father looked at me with concern, his eyes narrowing as he took in my distress. "Little one, are you okay?" he asked, his voice low and worried. I managed to nod, still clutching my stomach, but it was clear that I was far from fine. My father gently nudged me with his snout, trying to comfort me, but I just groaned and stumbled away, desperate to find some relief from the agony that was wracking my body.

I spoke "stomach pain"

Tharros had indeed eaten a massive amount of food, and his stomach was paying the price. The pain was a sharp reminder that even a young dragon's stomach has its limits. His father's remedy had helped to ease the discomfort, but Tharros couldn't help but feel a bit embarrassed by his lack of self-control. He had let his hunger get the better of him, and now he was suffering the consequences.

As the remedy my father had given me failed to ease the stomach pain, I let out a pained whimper. The discomfort had not subsided, but instead had grown more intense. My father's expression turned from amusement to concern, and he gently nudged me with his snout. "Tharros, little one, I think we need to try something else," he said, his voice soft with worry. "This pain is not normal. We must find a way to ease it." He paused, thinking for a moment, before adding, "I know of a special spring, hidden deep within the nearby mountains. Its waters have healing properties that may help to soothe your stomach." He looked at me with determined eyes. "We will go there, now. Hold on to me, and I will take you to the spring."

Father spoke, "When I was your age, I also ate so much that my stomach hurt and my father did, in fact, try to help it remove"

I looked up at my father, intrigued by his words. "What do you mean, 'try to help it remove'?" I asked, my curiosity piqued. My father's expression turned slightly awkward, and he hesitated before responding. "Well, little one, when I was your age, my father...induced me to, shall we say, 'expel' the excess food from my stomach." He paused, studying my reaction. "It was not a pleasant experience, but it did provide relief from the stomach pain." I felt a surge of understanding, and my eyes widened as I realized what my father was implying. "You mean, like...vomiting?" I asked, trying to process the idea. My father nodded, his expression serious. "Yes, Tharros. Sometimes, when we eat too much, our bodies need a little...help...to get rid of the excess."

Father lay l down, and he flipped me on laying on my back and rubbing it

I felt a bit startled as my father gently flipped me onto my back, but I trusted him completely. He began to rub my belly in a gentle, circular motion, applying just the right amount of pressure. At first, it felt a bit awkward, but as he continued to rub, I started to feel a subtle easing of the discomfort in my stomach. My father's touch was soothing, and I could feel my muscles relaxing beneath his gentle strokes. I let out a soft sigh, feeling a bit more at ease, and gazed up at my father with grateful eyes.

I felt my stomach getting gassy

As my father continued to rub my belly, I started to feel a bubbling sensation in my stomach. It was as if the gas was building up and trying to find a way out. I felt a bit uncomfortable, but my father seemed to sense what was happening. He gently increased the pressure of his rubbing, helping to coax the gas out of my system. Suddenly, I felt a loud, rumbling sound emanating from my stomach, followed by a rather...unpleasant...release of gas. My father chuckled and nodded approvingly. "Ah, that's it, little one. Let it all out."

As he kept rubbing the gas inside, my stomach increased fast

As my father continued to rub my belly, the gas inside my stomach seemed to build up even more rapidly. I could feel it churning and bubbling, putting pressure on my stomach muscles. My father's rubbing motion seemed to be encouraging the gas to move upwards, and I could feel it rising up into my throat. Suddenly, I let out a loud belch, and the gas was released from my body. My father smiled and patted my belly. "Feel better, little one?" he asked.

I spoke "a little, but I'm sure it will be fine"

My father nodded, his expression understanding. "Good, good," he said. "Sometimes, it just takes a little while for the stomach to settle. You'll be back to normal in no time." He gave my belly a few more gentle rubs, then sat back on his haunches. "Why don't you try to rest for a bit, hmm? I'll keep an eye on you." He nudged me gently with his snout, encouraging me to lie down and relax.

Father spoke, "Let teach you how to hunt I be above since prey will notice my massive size and you are not even 2 years old yet soooo" he paused "...you'll be the one to stalk the prey," my father continued, a sly glint in his eye. "Your small size will be an advantage in this case. You'll be able to sneak up on our unsuspecting meal without being seen." He paused again, studying me intently. "But first, we need to find the perfect spot. Somewhere with plenty of cover, and where the prey is likely to congregate." My father's eyes scanned the surrounding area, his gaze sweeping over the landscape as he searched for the ideal hunting ground.

After a few moments of scanning the area, my father's eyes lit up with excitement. "Ah, I've found the perfect spot," he said, his voice low and conspiratorial. "Follow me, little one." He took off, his massive body moving swiftly and silently through the underbrush. I followed close behind, my heart racing with excitement. We crept through the dense foliage, the sounds of the forest growing louder with each step. My father stopped suddenly, his ears perked up and his nose twitching. "Do you hear that?" he whispered, his eyes gleaming with excitement. I listened intently, and soon I picked up the sound of scurrying rodents coming from a nearby thicket.

I see a bush and hide in it, and I see a deer herd

I held my breath, my eyes fixed intently on the deer herd grazing peacefully in the nearby clearing. My heart was racing with excitement, and I could feel my instincts taking over. I was a young dragon, and this was my first hunt. I watched as the deer moved closer, their large brown eyes unaware of the predator lurking just a few feet away. My father's voice whispered in my ear, "Remember, little one, stay calm and wait for the perfect moment to strike. Aim for the weakest one in the herd." I nodded, my gaze never leaving the deer. I could feel my muscles tensing, ready to spring into action at a moment's notice. The deer drew closer, and I could smell their sweet, earthy scent. My stomach growled with anticipation, and I knew it was almost time to make my move.

I took a deep breath, my eyes locked on the smallest deer in the herd. It was a fawn, still unsteady on its legs, and it wandered away from its mother's side. My father's voice whispered in my ear again, "Now, little one. Go!" I burst out of the bush, my wings spread wide, and my claws extended. The deer herd sprang into action, bounding away in terror. But I was too fast. I swooped down, my claws snapping shut just inches from the fawn's trembling body. But just as I was about to grab it, I felt a sudden pang of doubt. Something didn't feel right. The fawn looked up at me with big, frightened eyes, and I hesitated. My father's voice echoed in my mind, "A dragon must be fierce and fearless..." But I couldn't shake off the feeling that I was about to do something wrong.

I looked up at my father, feeling a mix of emotions. I knew he was right, I wasn't fearless, and I had hesitated when I should have been bold. But at the same time, I felt a sense of relief that my father wasn't disappointed in me. Instead, he seemed to be amused by my uncertainty. I felt a bit embarrassed, but my father's chuckle put me at ease. "Don't worry, little one," he said, nudging me with his snout. "We'll work on building your confidence. And who knows, maybe one day you'll be the most fearless dragon in the land." He smiled, and I couldn't help but smile back. I knew I had a lot to learn, but with my father's guidance, I felt like I could conquer anything.

Father seems like he doesn't believe that I be brave enough

I looked up at my father, and for a moment, I thought I saw a flicker of doubt in his eyes. It was as if he didn't quite believe that I had the potential to be brave. I felt a pang of uncertainty, and my ears folded back slightly. "Father?" I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "Do you think I'll ever be brave enough?" My father's expression softened, and he nudged me gently with his snout. "Of course, little one," he said. "You just need to find your own way of being brave. It doesn't have to be the same as mine or anyone else's." But despite his reassuring words, I couldn't shake off the feeling that he still had doubts about my bravery.

The deer is still moving, but it is on the ground, so I bite it on the front neck

As I bit down on the deer's front neck, I could feel its body tense up beneath me. It let out a faint bleat, but it was too weak to struggle. My father watched with a keen eye, nodding in approval. "Good bite, little one," he said. "Now, hold tight and finish the hunt." I clamped my jaws shut, making sure to hold the deer in place. It was a strange feeling, but also kind of exhilarating. I was actually doing it – I was hunting! My father came closer, his voice low and steady. "Remember, a quick kill is a merciful one. Make sure to..." But before he could finish, I felt a surge of instinct take over. I bit down harder, and the deer's body went limp beneath me. It was over. I had made my first kill.

I look around and see some deer that are still alive but on the ground injured

As I looked around, I saw that the deer herd had scattered, but some of the deer had not escaped unscathed. Several of them lay on the ground, injured and struggling to get up. My father's voice came to me, "Remember, little one, a dragon's hunt is not just about killing, but also about showing mercy. We must make sure that those who are injured do not suffer needlessly." He nodded towards the injured deer. "Go, finish what we started. Show them mercy." I understood what my father meant. I had to put the injured deer out of their misery. I took a deep breath, steeling myself for the task ahead. I approached the first injured deer, its leg twisted at an awkward angle. I looked up at my father, seeking guidance. He nodded, his eyes encouraging me to do what needed to be done.

I beheaded 1 with my claws. As I swiped my claws across the injured deer's neck, its body went limp and still. I had ended its suffering, showing it the mercy that my father had taught me. I looked up at my father, seeking his approval. He nodded, his expression serious but proud. "Well done, little one," he said. "You are learning the ways of the hunt, and the ways of mercy." I felt a sense of pride and accomplishment, knowing that I had done what was necessary to end the deer's suffering. I turned to face the other injured deer, ready to show them the same mercy. My father's voice came to me again, "Remember, little one, a dragon's power is not just in killing, but also in showing compassion."

I pull 1 deer in an open space and use my fire breath to burn the deer alive and kill the rest with claws or a bite in the front and back neck

As I pulled the deer into the open space, I could feel my heart racing with excitement. My father watched with a keen eye, his expression a mix of pride and caution. I took a deep breath, focusing my energy and summoning the flames within me. With a mighty roar, I unleashed a blast of fire that engulfed the deer. The flames danced across its body, consuming it in a fiery inferno. The deer let out a terrified bleat as it burned alive, its body thrashing about in agony. My father's voice came to me, "Well done, little one. Your fire breath is strong and true." I felt a surge of pride and power, knowing that I had successfully used my fire breath to kill the deer. I then turned my attention to the other injured deer, using my claws and teeth to finish them off quickly and mercifully. With a swift bite to the front and back of the neck, I ended their suffering, showing them the mercy that my father had taught me. As I stood victorious, surrounded by the bodies of the deer, I felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. I had proven myself to be a capable and powerful young dragon, and I knew that my father was proud of me.

Father spoke, "Let's held back. We are not far from home!"

I nodded, still feeling the rush of excitement from the hunt. I looked up at my father, and he nodded back, his eyes shining with pride. "Let's head back, little one," he said. "We've had a successful hunt, and we don't want to be out too late." I nodded, and together we began to make our way back home, the carcasses of the deer left behind for now. As we walked, my father put a reassuring nudge on my shoulder with his snout. "You did well today, little one," he said. "I'm proud of you." I beamed with pride, feeling happy and content after our successful hunt.

As we made our way back home, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. I had successfully completed my first hunt, and my father was proud of me. I looked up at him, and he smiled, his white scales glistening in the fading light.

As we approached our home, a vast cave system nestled in the heart of a mountain, I could see my mother, Thyriatrix, waiting for us at the entrance. Her light green scales shone brightly, and her eyes sparkled with warmth.

"Welcome back, my loves," she said, her voice melodious. "I see you've had a successful hunt. Well done, Tharros."

I beamed with pride, feeling happy to have made my parents proud. My father, Aetherius, nodded in agreement. "Yes, Tharros did very well. He's a natural hunter."

My mother smiled, her eyes shining with pride. "I'm so glad to hear that. Come, let's get you both fed and rested. You must be exhausted after your hunt."

I nodded, feeling a bit tired but also exhilarated from my first hunt. I followed my parents into the cave, eager to rest and enjoy a well-deserved meal.

As we entered the cave, I could see my siblings waiting for us, their eyes shining with excitement. Lyriath, my older brother, was the first to greet us, his dark red and navy-blue scales gleaming in the dim light.

"Hey, Tharros! How was the hunt?" he asked, his voice eager.

I grinned, feeling proud of myself. "It was amazing! I caught a deer all by myself."

Lyriath's eyes widened in impressed surprise. "No way! That's awesome, Tharros."

My other siblings, Vyraxys, Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix, all gathered around, eager to hear more about my adventure. I happily recounted the details of my hunt, feeling like a true hero.

After I finished my story, my mother, with her warm and nurturing presence, led my siblings to the feeding area, where a delicious meal of fresh meat was waiting for them. Her light green scales shone brightly as she ensured everyone had enough to eat. She was always caring for us, making sure we were happy and healthy.

My father, with his strong and wise guidance, came over to me, his white scales shining in the dim light. He had a gentle way of teaching us, always pushing us to be our best selves. "I'm proud of you, Tharros," he said, his voice warm and encouraging. "You're growing into a strong and capable young dragon."

I smiled, feeling happy and proud of myself. It was moments like these that I cherished the most, surrounded by the people I loved and who loved me in return.

My father spoke, "But I don't mind at all. You still are afraid hatchling!" Father chuckled

I looked up at my father, feeling a bit embarrassed. I knew I hadn't been as fearless as I could have been during the hunt. My father's words were playful, but they still stung a bit. I looked down, my silver scales glistening in the dim light.

But then I heard my father's warm chuckle, and I couldn't help but smile. He was teasing me, but it was clear he was proud of me despite my fears. I looked up at him, and he nudged me gently with his snout.

"Don't worry, little one," he said. "Fear is natural. It's how you face it that matters. And you did face it, even if you were scared. That takes courage."

I felt a surge of gratitude towards my father. He always knew how to make me feel better, and his words of wisdom were something I would carry with me for a long time.

I smiled, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. My father's words had eased my worries, and I felt grateful for his understanding and guidance.

My mother, who had been watching our exchange, spoke up, her voice warm and soothing. "Come, Tharros, let's take a break and rest for a bit. We can spend the rest of the morning relaxing before we do anything else."

I nodded, feeling a bit tired but also content. I followed my mother to our nesting area, where my siblings were already lounging about.

As I settled in beside them, I felt my father's presence behind me. He gently laid a claw on my shoulder, and I felt a surge of love and protection from him.

"Take it easy, little one," he whispered. "You've earned a break after your big hunt this morning."

I smiled, feeling happy and relaxed, and enjoyed the warm and cozy atmosphere of our nesting area.

As I rested, I could hear the sounds of my siblings chatting and laughing together. Lyriath, my older brother, was telling a story about one of his adventures, and the others were listening with wide eyes.

I listened for a bit, feeling happy to be surrounded by my loving family. After a while, I got up and stretched, feeling refreshed and ready to do something else.

My mother, Thyriatrix, looked at me with a warm smile. "Feeling better, Tharros?" she asked.

I nodded, feeling grateful for her concern. "Yes, Mother. I'm feeling great."

My father, who had been watching us from the side, spoke up. "Good. I think it's time for your next lesson, Tharros. Are you ready?"

I nodded eagerly, feeling excited to learn something new. "Yes, Father. I'm ready."

My father, with his wise and knowing gaze, smiled at me. "Today, Tharros, we will work on your elemental control. As a young dragon, it's essential to master your abilities and learn to harness your element."

I felt a surge of interest and curiosity. Elemental control was something I had been studying and practicing, but I still had much to learn. I nodded eagerly, ready to take on the challenge and improve my skills.

My father grasped his own mouth, as if to stifle a sudden burst of excitement, and then ran outside, beckoning me to follow him. I trailed behind, curious about what had gotten him so worked up. As we emerged from the cave, the bright sunlight illuminated my father's eager expression, and I couldn't help but feel a thrill of anticipation. What was going on?

He flew up to the top of the mountain and placed me down and spoke, "Now shoot your fire bomb!'

I stood at the top of the mountain, feeling the wind rushing past me. My father's eyes gleamed with excitement as he watched me. I took a deep breath, focused my energy, and unleashed a powerful blast of fire. A massive fireball erupted from my mouth, shooting high into the air and exploding in a spectacular display of flames and smoke.

My father spoke, "Now even know you are a robust hatchling, let increase your muscle mass even more!"

I nodded enthusiastically, eager to grow stronger. My father smiled, his eyes shining with excitement. "Then let us begin! We will train intensively, and I will teach you the ancient dragon exercises that will help you build your strength and muscle mass."

With that, my father began to demonstrate a series of powerful movements, breathing techniques, and exercises that would help me tap into my inner strength and unleash my full potential. I watched intently, my mind focused, and then began to mimic his movements, feeling my muscles flex and grow with each passing moment.

Father flew off and came back with a 100 kg boulder

My father descended back onto the mountain peak, his wings beating powerful as he carried a massive 100 kg boulder in his claws. He gently placed the boulder in front of me, his eyes gleaming with a challenging spark.

"Now, Tharros," he said, his voice firm and encouraging. "I want you to lift this boulder and hold it for as long as you can. This will help you build your strength and endurance."

I spoke, "Are you sure?" i said in a worried tone

My father chuckled, his expression confident. "Yes, Tharros, I'm positive. You're a robust hatchling, and I have faith in your abilities. Besides, I'll be here to guide and support you. Now, go ahead and give it a try!" He nudged the boulder gently with his snout, as if urging me to take on the challenge.

I took a deep breath, feeling a mix of excitement and trepidation. I looked at the massive boulder, wondering if I really could lift it. But my father's encouraging words echoed in my mind, and I decided to give it a try.

I positioned myself in front of the boulder, my claws gripping the ground for traction. I focused my energy, took another deep breath, and then heaved with all my might.

To my surprise, the boulder began to lift off the ground, slowly but surely. I grunted with effort, my muscles straining as I struggled to hold the massive weight aloft.

My father watched with a keen eye, his expression proud and encouraging. "That's it, Tharros! Keep going! You can do it!"

My father spoke, "Now walk around!"

I took a cautious step forward, the boulder still held aloft in my claws. I felt a surge of excitement and pride, knowing that I was actually doing it! I took another step, and another, carefully making my way around the mountain peak.

The wind rustled my scales, and the sun beat down on my back, but I didn't let that distract me. I kept my focus on the boulder, holding it steady as I walked.

My father flew alongside me, his eyes shining with pride. "Well done, Tharros! You're doing great! Keep going!" 1 hour later

I finally stopped walking, the boulder still clutched in my claws. I was panting slightly, my muscles aching from the prolonged effort, but I felt an overwhelming sense of pride and accomplishment.

My father landed beside me, a broad smile spreading across his face. "Tharros, you've done it! You've held that boulder for an entire hour! I'm so proud of you, son!"

He gently took the boulder from my claws, and I felt a mix of relief and exhaustion wash over me. I looked up at my father, my eyes shining with pride. "Thanks, Father. I couldn't have done it without your encouragement."

The sun is now slowly setting and The sky was painted with hues of orange, pink, and purple as the sun began its slow descent below the horizon. The air was filled with a warm, golden light that seemed to glow with a soft, magical energy.

My father and I stood there, basking in the serene beauty of the sunset. We watched in comfortable silence as the stars began to twinkle in the darkening sky.

After a while, my father spoke, his voice low and gentle. "Tharros, you've had a big day. I think it's time for you to get some rest. You've earned it."

Father spoke again, "And a big day. I mean, huge meal all for you!" I look at him in horror

My eyes widened in shock as I stared at my father, my mind racing with the implications of his words. "A huge meal... all for me?" I repeated, my voice trembling with a mix of excitement and trepidation.

I had a feeling that I wasn't going to like what was coming next. My father's grin seemed to grow even wider, and his eyes sparkled with amusement.

"What is it, Father?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

My father spoke, "Let just say it is double the size of that behemoth I killed and feed you today!" I did remember it hurt so much for my 1 year and 8 months old baby dragon stomach

I felt a wave of dread wash over me as I remembered the massive meal my father had fed me earlier. My stomach had protested loudly, and I had thought I was going to burst.

And now, my father was telling me that the next meal would be double the size of that behemoth? I thought I was going to faint.

I looked up at my father, my eyes wide with alarm. "F-father, I don't know if I can eat that much," I stuttered, my voice shaking with anxiety.

But my father just chuckled and ruffled my scales with his claws. "Nonsense, Tharros! You're a growing dragon, and you need all the nourishment you can get. Trust me, you'll be just fine." I spoke "I'm a hatchling!"

My father's expression turned sheepish, and he chuckled. "Ah, yes, of course, you're still a hatchling! I forget that sometimes. You're growing so fast, Tharros!"

He paused, looking thoughtful for a moment. "Perhaps I got a bit carried away with the meal planning. Don't worry, I'll make sure it's not too much for you. I promise you'll be comfortable, not stuffed to the brim."

I let out a sigh of relief, feeling a bit better knowing that my father was willing to adjust the meal to suit my needs.

Father spoke, "I will give you 1 and a half size of that behemoth!" He smiled

My eyes widened in horror as I stared at my father, my mind racing with the thought of consuming such a massive amount of food. "F-father, no! That's still too much!" I protested, my voice shaking with anxiety.

I remembered the discomfort and pain I had felt after eating the behemoth earlier, and the thought of eating one and a half times that size was unbearable. I looked up at my father, pleading with him to reconsider. "Please, Father, can't it be smaller?" Father shook his head

I felt a surge of despair wash over me as my father shook his head, his expression firm. I knew that look all too well - it meant he had made up his mind, and there was no changing it.

I slumped my shoulders, feeling defeated. "O-okay, Father..." I muttered, resigned to my fate. I steeled myself for the massive meal ahead, my stomach already churning with anxiety.

Father grap me with his mouth and get down of the top of the mountain and back to the cave in this mountain and get in and lay down and place me under his wing he knows that his wing is my only safe haven

I felt a sense of relief wash over me as my father's warm, scaly mouth closed gently around me. He lifted me up, and I wrapped my claws around his teeth, holding on tight as he began to make his way down the mountain.

As we descended, the wind rushed past me, but I felt safe and protected within my father's grasp. We finally reached the cave, and my father carefully placed me on the ground before settling down beside me.

He wrapped his massive wing around me, enveloping me in its warm, comforting shadow. I snuggled deeper into the safety of his wing, feeling my anxiety and fears melt away. This was my happy place, my sanctuary. I was safe, and I knew that nothing could harm me as long as my father's wing was around me.

My father spoke, "Sleep now, Tharros, because your stomach will hurt like hell!"

I groggily opened my eyes, looking up at my father's face. His expression was serious, but his eyes sparkled with a hint of amusement. I felt a surge of trepidation at his words, and my stomach growled nervously in anticipation of the massive meal to come.

I snuggled deeper into the warmth of my father's wing, feeling a sense of comfort and security wash over me. I closed my eyes, trying to push aside the anxiety and focus on the soothing sound of my father's gentle humming.

As I drifted off to sleep, I couldn't help but wonder what the next day would bring...
