Rope had never been a particularly careful person.
In the past, because he wanted to go home, he was always afraid to get involved with all sorts of things, and then he resigned himself to his fate...
And now, having given up on the idea of going home, with his head full of thoughts of exploring this world, how could he possibly let go of turning a blind eye to something so very fishy?
Wouldn't you say? Traveler.
As a certified Fourth Natural Disaster, Rope is always expecting this sort of thing. After all, with the ability to defend himself, he was perfectly capable of letting loose and making waves.
And so Rope did, heading in the direction of that poisonous energy that was so thick.
However, it wasn't long before Rotom began to emit an alarming sound.
"Beep-beep, the concentration of toxic energy ahead has reached the human limit without protective gear. Loto."
Rotom also very mischievously played a video on the screen of a little man walking and then covering his head, turning purple and then collapsing, then festering all over his body and eventually turning into a pile of white bones. The villain's death was so gruesome that it was quite unbearable to watch, and the soundtrack used Rope's unintentionally off-key "
Rope slaps the whole living Rotom to the ground.
"What are you doing with black humor?" Rope gave Rotom a blank stare.
He wasn't too nervous, for one thing, he was wearing a gas mask, which effectively prevented the poisonous energy from entering his body through his mouth and nose, slowing down the extent of the damage he could be done in the poisonous energy.
And on the other hand, eating the Burning Fruit to be able to use elemental transformation could essentially be said to be an energy construct. The concentration of toxic energy wasn't high enough to affect Rope at all.
As for the disadvantages of an elemental transformation body...
As long as you had full control over your elemental transform abilities, it could be said that there were no drawbacks at all. After all, if there was something that could affect the energy itself, that something would have nullified one's physical body long ago.
What, you mean elemental turbulence against the elements...
Let's not talk about Rope's understanding that this won't happen as long as Arceus' tablet doesn't go wrong, but let's just say that when elemental turbulence occurs in the face of lightning strikes, fire, and cold, will it be you or the energy that can't hold out first?
It's true. It's not easy being alive.
Rope, however, is a different story, and this guy has nothing to do with the human species in terms of how life manifests itself.
Even Pokémon can't count this guy out. After all, there's nothing similar to him in Fire Pokémon that's formed entirely from the elements. If anything, this guy is similar to some of the Grass, Rock, and Ice-type Pokémon.
So this guy really isn't a Pokémon.
It would be better to say that he's a flame genie. It's a shame that they weren't allowed to become sperm after the founding of the country.
Back to the story.
Rope continued to head that way, and on the way, Rotom dutifully showed the concentration of poisonous energy. But it didn't raise it any further.
Rope went on for another 500 meters or so, but the concentration remained at that level where a gas mask would be enough protection, and didn't increase any further.
"It seems like we've entered the territory of a certain Poison-type Pokémon." Rope's face under the mask was slightly grave.
A powerful Pokémon would unintentionally release its energy and cover a certain area. It was a way to show off their strength. It was a clear sign of "Don't mess with me."
Generally speaking, such a field tended not to be too large, nor was the energy intensity very high. After all, it was more like a safe zone for them to sleep is without much disturbance.
Once you break in...
Pokémon with wake-up calls will fight you tooth and nail...
"So are we still going, loto?"
Rotom asked Rope a bit helplessly, knowing that there is no weak Pokémon that can release this kind of energy field, although with Rope's current strength they don't need to be afraid of anyone, but according to Rotom Pokédex's thinking, it's better to do more than less, such a guy is not to deal with it will be a hindrance to personal safety, but to deal with it is not reasonable...
After all, you broke into someone's house, woke them up, and you want their body (meaning to take them in). This is really the standard way of bandits !
Rope waved his hand, signaling Rotom that there was no need to worry, and then smiled with interest, "The toxic energy sample library that the two of us, Professor Oak and I, perfected together, didn't include this guy, which means that this guy, probably, is a never-before-appeared Poison-type Pokémon. that makes it even more valuable, okay. "
Rotom helplessly held his screen with his hand.
Damn, that trainer isn't a bandit? That researcher isn't a rogue?
Hasty...
Thinking back to the time when he was a wild Rotom, wasn't he also eating hot pots and singing songs before he was caught in the Rotom school...
Those years of unbridled power stealing were his youth that he couldn't get back.
Rotom's eyes showed the feeling of "remembering the great days of the past".
Then the next moment, Rope interrupted.
"Don't reminisce about the past, hurry up and continue to lead the way, I feel that we will have a big harvest this time. If it's really a Poison-type Pokémon with high potential I feel like I can take it in, and I'd really like to experiment to see if my enhancement abilities will work on Pokémon of other lines."
Rope's eyes reflected a crazy color unique to researchers.
Rotom gave a disdainful look at this guy who didn't understand the preciousness of youth, and then proceeded to lead the way.
What he didn't see was the strand of worry behind Rope's inquisitive desire.
You know, by virtue of Rope's having seen the originals, ordinary poisonous Pokémon were all included by Rope, even the very precious ones. Even the Pokémon from the Galar region, like Toxel and the like, had not been left out.
Thanks to Rope's superb memory ability, he clearly remembered the Poison Pokémon that he hadn't included.
The Poison-type Silvally with the Poison-type Memory Disc installed.
Ultra Beast Nihilego with dual Rock and Poison type.
Poison-type Ultra Beast, Poipole and his evolutionary poison dragon, Naganadel.
There is also Eternatus, a poisonous dragon known as "Big Naganadel".
And... Arceus, who carries a Poison-type slate...
Whichever one of them comes here, it's a tricky problem.
The problem was that it wasn't very likely that either of them would come!
As far as Rope knew Ultra Wormhole had been opened on a small scale in the Alola region, but the Ether Foundation hadn't yet researched the Inquisitorial Sphere. And the Ultra Wormhole shows no signs of having been opened in the Kanto region. So Poipole and Nihilego feel like they can be ruled out.
By the same token, the Ether Foundation hasn't even worked on the Inquisitorial Orb yet, let alone the Silver Companion Battle Beast.
And as Eternatus, the big boss of the Galar region, isn't there something wrong with that thing coming out in Kanto?
Last and most likely...
This Arceus guy is playing with poison in Kanto...
But isn't the intensity of this poison energy a little too low for Arceus and Eternatus' abilities?
So, who the hell is it?
With hidden worries, Rope moved forward to continue exploring.
