Chereads / I'm Really Not a Pokémon / Chapter 37 - The Real Finale

Chapter 37 - The Real Finale

Both Rai and Denki have seen the guy in front of them. Or rather...

They've also only seen the guy in front of them.

Everyone else in the organization wore their own masks.

The guy in front of them, on the other hand, seemed to be basically not wearing a mask for some reason.

In his own words...

"We're not Muks in a gutter, so why do we need to wear masks to hide our identities?"

A very flamboyant guy, but also very countable, this guy would still obediently put on his mask in front of outsiders. After all, it was that one's arrangement.

"The chief was quite pleased with your actions this time, so he asked me to come and get you. However, your actions also had no small flaws, after all, Prison Bottle was surprisingly lost to the League's people just like that."

The glasses man's tone was tinged with dissatisfaction, well just dissatisfaction.

Rai and Denki each laughed awkwardly, it was true that they didn't pay too much attention to the Prison Bottle, they just asked Gengar, who had been assigned by the organization to keep an eye on Nobuhide, to see what happened to grab the Prison Bottle, and if it didn't work out to get Nobuhide killed as the first goal.

"It's true that we didn't expect the other party to act so decisively, and those four Pokémon Hunters seem to have hidden a certain amount of strength."

Denki opened his mouth to explain to the man with glasses, which wasn't exactly excusing himself or anything, just explaining. After all, looking at the situation, the organization wasn't taking that Prison Bottle very seriously.

"There's no need to explain, we're all on our own, and leaving the Prison Bottle on the League's side would leave a bit of a smokescreen. Heh, Gengar's appearance was still well timed, highlighting the existence of a behind-the-scenes guy, and leaving out the two of you, who have no Ghost-type Pokémon at all. Not a bad job."

The spectacled man praised. At this point Rai and Denki had done a really good job, as long as the point of Gengar was captured and analyzed, then they had hit the smokescreen they had left behind. And the whole plan was quite stealthy. If you want to catch Rai and Denki's clues, you have to run through the whole thing from beginning to end, and you have to be confident that your guesses are right.

Someone like that, he hadn't heard of in League yet!

And just then, the man with the glasses suddenly grimaced, before hastily releasing an Alakazam and pulling out three more masks from nowhere; he brought Abra's mask up himself, and tossed the other two to Rai and Denki respectively.

Rai caught one of Jolteon's masks, and Denki caught one of Electivire's masks.

Abra suddenly asked, "Did you guys leave anything else behind? Why is there a man outside suddenly rushing towards this side! Hey... no, this speed, is this a person?"

Rai and Denki looked at each other before shouting together.

"It's Rope!!!"

The man asks, a little confused, "Rope? It's not a human?"

Rai: "It's hard to tell!"

Denki: "That would be a hard question!"

Man: ...

Just as the three were talking comic relief, Rope's breath, was at the door.

"You guys go ahead, I'll meet this guy who isn't human." The man said so with a smirk.

"Kai! Listen to me, calm down, let's go first, don't get into trouble with that Pokémon!"

"Right Kai! Don't be impulsive, that guy is not something you can play with your lips."

Rai and Denki were trying their best to discourage Kai.

Kai listened to them and waved his hand, "You guys don't have to say anymore! I've made up my mind! You guys go first, I'll take care of this guy, Alakazam, take them first!"

Alakazam was still a bit hesitant, but Rai and Denki had already taken an arrow step to his side and squeezed his arm. Although they couldn't see the expression on their faces through the masks, the feeling that they wanted to go first was already spilling out, and they were close to shouting "Go!!!" at Alakazam.

So Alakazam didn't have much room for hesitation, and immediately activated Teleport, taking these two people with him, disappearing from the spot.

Speaking of which, Rope didn't often make a mess with Teleport. In the past, she couldn't use it because it conflicted with the spatial nature of this world, so she didn't develop the good habit of using Teleport to hurry for a short period of time. Lance, on the other hand, didn't have this habit because he didn't have a Super Power Pokémon on hand.

As for the others, although they did, they were each interrupted by the first thought that popped into their heads, so they didn't think about it either.

In the end, Teleport was not a common way to catch up in this world. Because it was short, it didn't last, and both sides used up a lot of stamina.

Kai stayed because he guessed why Rope rushed here in such a hurry (really). I think he guessed that there was something wrong with Rai and Denki.

But he made this plan, so where's the loophole?

He was curious to know. Underneath the mask, Kai smiled, having already figured out what "pleasant" tone he should use to ask Rope this question.

When he heard Sigilyph's message that Rope had appeared outside the house, he straightened his clothes and decided to show respect to the man who had figured out his plan.

As a result, the wall collapses and fire pours in...

On the other side, Rai and Denki watched the roar of flames and the huge column of fire coming from over there. As if rehearsed at the same time each drew a cross on their chests.

"Bon voyage!" ×2

......

Kai was now confused as he looked at Rope, who was covered in flames, and his mind was filled with the unrelenting pillar of fire he had just seen.

If it wasn't for the fact that his Sigilyph reacted fast enough and quickly fired his Hold skill at full power, he probably would have just been buried in flames.

No, something must have been mistaken, how could such a reckless guy, such a guy with no intellectual demeanor, such a guy with no martial virtues, analyze his plan!

"You are one of the people behind this? Are you Rai and Denki's boss? Where are they? Did you rescue them or kill them?" Rope threw out a bunch of questions at a rapid pace.

[Damn it's really this guy! Did the Creator get something wrong? If this guy has such a high level of force, how can he have such a high level of intelligence?

In fact, it wasn't the Creator's fault... Rope himself was a bug, and there were still hang-ups...

But Kai naturally didn't know about this, so naturally his mind fell apart. He grabbed Sigilyph's tail feathers, then let Sigilyph lift off.

"Rope! I'll remember you! Next time I'll make a perfect plan and... get you killed!"

Kai shouted in a very ungraceful manner.

Rope didn't respond to him.

So an even thicker pillar of fire shot up into the sky and blasted towards Kai.

"Teleport!"

Kai ordered in a busy panic.

Then the next instant, he was gone.

...

Rai and Denki, who were ready to leave, also saw this second pillar of fire, and their faces were indignant.

"Wow, whip the corpse!"

"Excessive, really excessive!"

Then the two people turned their heads and slipped away.

Just kidding, if they stayed for a while longer, they might be the ones to get blasted.

Besides, if Kai wasn't a bit miserable, how could he show Rope's power?

As we all know, when you've been defeated, the best way to save face, besides fighting back, is to blow up your opponent. Especially getting other people to blow your opponent.

Rai and Denki both have that "plan pass" look on their faces.

......

"How's it going?" Lance, who had arrived late, asked towards Rope, who had a fiery face.

"Got away, the other guy was organized. I stopped the other guy the first time after I realized Rai and Denki slipped away. It turned out that the other party specializes in the superpower department and ran away."

Rope's face was on fire and his tone was full of regret.

"The other guy was wearing an Abra mask, it was hard to tell who it was. Be careful, we all expect to see each other again soon."

"We'll do our best to search for these masked men." Lance said righteously.

Rope waved his hand and didn't say anything. Lance was hardworking, but unfortunately...

There's still not enough brains to go around!

  1. '鞭尸', an Internet Slang, to mock or laugh at someone's previous actions
