Chapter 3 - 3 Jojo's cursed Adventure

Walking down the streets of Tokyo, Jotaro stopped in front of a hotel. The sky had already darkened, and although he did want to test a few things he decided to leave it for tomorrow.

Entering the lobby, he was greeted by one of the staff.

"Hello, sir."A women spoke politely, wearing a neat work uniform, a small blush formed on her cheeks as she noticed Jotaro "May I see your ID?" But she managed to keep her expression professional.

'Shit, I forgot about that!' Jotaro's face remained impassive, but a bead of sweat trickled down his forehead. The beings who brought him here hadn't provided any identification. He hadn't even received any memories related to his new self. So from what he could gather, this body didn't exist before he was transported.

An idea suddenly struck him. He remembered how Jotaro was portrayed in the anime, how his mere presence could seduce women. HIs body, half-Japanese and half-Italian or whatever, had an undeniable charm. Jotaro decided to gamble on his looks.

Patting his jacket as if searching for an ID, he made deliberate eye contact with the woman.

"I'm sorry," he said with a troubled expression. "It seems I lost my ID on the way here. Could you make an exception just this once and let me rent a room without it?"

The woman blushed slightly and fumbled for words. "Ah, well... I think it's fine if it's only this once," she stammered, looking at the floor while nervously playing with her hair.

Jotaro suppressed a sigh.

'Good looks sure make life easy', he thought, unsure whether to laugh or cry. No woman had ever acted like this toward him in his past life.

After paying around 6,000 yen, Jotaro received a key with the number 121 engraved on it. Without further ado, he took the elevator.

A moment later, he arrived at the floor where he'd be staying. Walking down the hallway, he couldn't shake a strange feeling about the place. It wasn't just the eerie quiet—it felt almost supernatural.

Jotaro's expression darkened slightly, though he showed no fear. If his instincts were right, there might be a curse nearby,

'Then so be it!' In fact, he welcomed the chance. It would allow him to gather some experience. Still, he silently hoped it wouldn't be anything too strong.

Finally, Jotaro reached the door with the number 121. Inserting the key, he stepped into the dark room. Star Platinum, his Stand, immediately turned on the lights.

The room was decently sized, with a bed, fridge, closet, and basic amenities, including a personal bathroom.

"This will do," Jotaro muttered. The room was clean and tidy, with no signs of pests. He dropped onto the bed, letting his body sink into the soft mattress. Star Platinum switched off the lights as he closed his eyes, ready for some much-needed rest.

Knock, knock.

Jotaro's eyes snapped open. A frown appeared on his face as he rose from the bed and approached the door.

Gripping the cold handle, he opened it and looked outside. The hallway stretched empty in both directions.

'There's no one..' he muttered, stepping out of his room. The bad feeling he'd had earlier lingered, stronger now. 'A prank... or is it really a curse?' He did not want to risk and make his Stand accidentally strike some unsuspecting prankster, even if they deserved to be hit.

Jotaro sighed, a headache forming. Just when he thought he could get some peace, trouble found him again. Deciding to dismiss it, he turned to return to his room, but then.

Drip...

A cold drop of something wet landed on top of his hat. Jotaro froze in place, the sensation sending a chill down his spine.

Drip… drip...

Slowly, he tilted his head upward, his expression hardened.

"DoN't SleEep!"

A grotesque figure, barely recognizable as humanoid, clung to the ceiling. Its claws dug into the plaster, its head twisted at an unnatural angle, hair covering most of its face and body. Drool dripped from its large, jagged mouth, and its red eyes gleamed with malevolence.

"Star Platinum!"

Before Jotaro could fully assess the situation his instincts took over, his Stand materialized in front of him.

"ORAAA!"

Star Platinum's fist rocketed forward with devastating speed, The curse let out an animalistic gasp but before it could move a heavy purple fist made contact with it, slamming hard into the creature's head.

BOOM!

The impact echoed down the hallway as the curse's large body was thrown several meters away, a shockwave rippling through the air from the sheer force of Star Platinum's punch.

Jotaro watched intently as the curse landed on the floor, motionless.

'Did it survive?' he muttered to himself, stepping cautiously toward the creature. His entire focus was on its still body. A moment later, he let out a sigh of relief as the curse began disintegrating into dust.

Jotaro relaxed his stance, glancing at Star Platinum, who stood beside him with a mirroring expression of calm.

'To think Star Platinum destroyed it with a single punch...' Jotaro smiled with a sense of pride. He knew his Stand was powerful, but this was even easier than expected, in fact, he could sense that Star Platinum hadn't used its full strength.

Perhaps there was no need for a stronger punch, or maybe Jotaro subconsciously held back, not wanting to attract too much attention. A full-powered punch from his Stand would undoubtedly have caused significant damage to the surroundings. Even the sound of a less-than-full-power punch had been enough to almost shatter the windows on this floor.

'Yet I can't help but wonder what grade that curse was.' Still, holding back or not he resisted the urge to overestimate himself. The curse looked terrifying, but it didn't even have time to react before being obliterated.

"Maybe Grade 3... or even 2," Jotaro speculated. From the size of the curse's fading body, he had a hard time believing it was the weakest grade. The creature's remains still covered most of the hallway.

As Jotaro was thinking about the curse's rank he noticed multiple doors on this floor open with people asking around where did the loud sound came from.

"What a pain," Jotaro muttered as he headed back to his room.

Finally, it was time to sleep.
