A few more days passed, and Jotaro was currently roaming around without a care in the world. The reason was simple, he wanted to meet a stronger curse, so far he had only encountered grade 3 and 4. So he was not able to fully unleash a not holding back Star platinum since every curse so far had lost in one punch.
So this left him thinking, just how far can Star Platinum go before one can give him a challenge, can a grade 2 withstand the full power of its fists?
There was also another reason loomed in the back of his mind, one he wished to just forget. The thought of the future disaster named Sukuna.
Sukuna was a menace, plain and simple. In the show, he had been an entertaining villain, but now, knowing he existed as a real being was deeply disturbing. A cannibalistic monster with four arms, four eyes, and enough power to slice someone into ribbons before they could even take a step, and drop fire nukes just for fun was something that scared him even if he had Star platinum with him.
Sure, there were logical ways to defeat Sukuna. If Jotaro could gain the ability to stop time, there would be nothing stopping him from shattering Sukuna's brain and ending the fight in an instant. But Jotaro knew it wasn't that simple. For Star Platinum to unleash its full strength, he needed to be within two meters of his target—a range that felt nearly impossible to achieve unless Sukuna allowed it.
And Sukuna wasn't the type to just stand still and let that happen.
Jotaro let out a sigh and shrugged it off. There was no point in overthinking something so far off.
In the past few days, he had considered whether it might be wiser to simply lay low, avoiding any confrontation with such a nightmare altogether and let the others deal with it. But then, the memory of his encounter with those beings who had sent him here came back. They had made it clear—when they called, he needed to answer.
"What if that call involves facing Sukuna?" The thought alone was enough to send chills down his spine.
The promise he had made so casually back then now felt much harder to solve. He sighed deeply, then forced a grin.
"But... it is what it is," he muttered, continuing to walk forward. Not long after, he arrived in front of an abandoned hospital,
"If the price of another chance at life is breaking some monster's face," Jotaro thought, his expression hardening, "then I'd take that deal any day of the week."
The hospital loomed before him, its dark and overgrown exterior giving off a sinister air. Jotaro stepped onto the cracked pavement, sensing the faint presence of a few weak curses inside. Among them, he could feel one stronger entity—a grade 2 curse maybe, or something close to it.
The front door was locked, but that wasn't an issue. A flicker of purple flashed as Star Platinum broke the lock effortlessly.
Jotaro stepped into the darkened hospital. The eerie atmosphere reminded him of a horror movie, with long, shadowy corridors and the faint creaks of the old building, it also smelled terrible inside. Yet he felt little to no fear. His confidence radiated from his back, as if a faint purple aura surrounded him while he walked up the stairs toward the first floor.
He was heading toward the strongest source of cursed energy he could feel. As he ascended, the faint sound of crying reached his ears. Each step brought him closer, the sound growing louder and more unsettling.
In the dimly lit hallway, Jotaro stopped abruptly. A pair of glowing eyes stared at him from the shadows.
Keeping his hands in his pockets, he spoke. "Might as well show your ugly face. Who knows, maybe it'll look better after I hit it hard enough."
"NnoOOO!"
The taunt struck a nerve. The eyes flickered with rage before a massive, grotesque form emerged into the moonlight. The curse's body was an unnatural shade of green, its hulking figure large enough to block the hallway.
Then it charged.
'It's fast,' Jotaro thought as the creature barreled toward him with surprising speed. Its size didn't hinder it at all. This was undoubtedly the strongest curse he had faced so far—likely a semi-grade 2 or full grade 2.
8 meters.
As the curse's footsteps thundered closer, Jotaro remained still, his hands still in his pockets and his face hidden beneath the shadow of his cap.
5 meters.
The curse extended its grotesque limbs, reaching for him.
2 meters.
The moment its claws came within striking distance, a blur of purple flashed forward.
BOOM!
A single blow from Star Platinum, The stand struck the curse square in the chest. The impact was explosive, sending a shockwave through the building. The walls cracked, and every window on the floor shattered simultaneously.
Jotaro watched with a serious expression.
"ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA!"
Time seemed to slow down as Star Platinum's fists struck with incredible speed and precision. Each impact echoed like gunshots, punching holes into the curse's body and cracking the floor beneath Jotaro's feet.
'What power!' Jotaro thought, beads of sweat forming on his brow. The sheer force of the punches made a sound louder then gunshots, the pressure left in the air from its punches shattered not only the windows on the second floor but also those throughout the entire building and even threatened to bring the entire building down.
In less than a second, Star Platinum had thrown twelve punches, though Jotaro was certain the curse had died from the very first one. The rest were just for good measure.
As the curse's mangled body fell to the ground and began to disintegrate, silence enveloped the hospital.
Jotaro watched his Stand with awe. Star Platinum's form radiated power, its presence full of life. Jotaro couldn't help but feel he had severely underestimated just how strong his Stand truly was.
"OUUUAAAAAAA!" Felling Jotaro's proud gaze Star Platinum let out a victory scream.
