"The only thing we know is that a special-grade object was found there, and a sorcerer acted without a veil," A middle-aged, burly man stated firmly, standing behind his desk. In front of him stood three figures: two boys and one girl.
"When we investigated, the object was gone, and traces of a fight were found." he added
"So, what exactly do you want us to do?" a white-haired teenager asked in a bored tone, slouching slightly. To his left, a black-haired teenager sighed, while to their right, a brown-haired girl scrolled through her phone with disinterest.
"Investigate, Gojo. The ones responsible for this mess might have the strength of a special grade" President Yaga replied with a sigh, rubbing his temples.
"Ho? just when I thought I could relax for a bit, fate has it that I'm given more work," the white-haired boy groaned, clearly exasperated.
"Suguru, you coming?" Gojo turned to his left, where a long-haired teenager stood with his atention somewhere else.
"Not this time, Satoru. I've got some things to take care of," Suguru replied in a low voice, his expression tiered.
"Take Shoko with you. There might be people who need help," Yaga added, though his true intention was ensuring Gojo didn't cause even more chaos by neglecting to use a veil if he encountered the culprit.
"Let's go, Shoko!" Satoru called out dramatically, heading for the door. Shoko, her attention still on her phone, followed him without a word.
As Suguru turned to leave, Yaga called out one last time, "Don't do something stupid, Suguru."
Outside the ruined hospital, Gojo stopped to admire his surroundings. "What a sight," he said, his voice carrying a hint of amusement.
The two-story building, once a functioning hospital was left abandoned for a few times, though from the information he got it was not in bad state since recently, But now the left part of the building was completely collapsed, it had clearly been destroyed in a fight.
"And here I thought nobody could leave behind a bigger mess than you," Shoko added dryly, her arms crossed as she surveyed the destruction. The scene was worse than anything Gojo typically left behind, and to make matters worse, the culprit hadn't even bothered to use a veil so the accident was all over tv.
"Guilty," Satoru admitted shamelessly, turning to leave. "There's no point in investigating. The culprit is long gone, and so is object. Let's go."
Shoko followed him as they walked down the street. After a few moments of silence, Satoru suddenly asked in a murmur, "Say, did you notice something different to Suguru lately?"
Shoko paused, her expression thoughtful. She, too, had seen the dark circles under Suguru's eyes and how tired he seemed lately. "I don't know," she replied and the two continued on their way.
"Where are you going?" she asked as Satoru suddenly changed direction.
"Might as well grab something sweet while we're here," he said casually. "Want anything?"
Shoko shook her head. "No thanks." She lit a cigarette, her gaze drifting the people around as Gojo disappeared into a store.
A few moments later, Gojo emerged with two bags of sweets in his hands. "Let's go," he said cheerfully.
Shoko followed, but she was surprised when Gojo suddenly stopped in his tracks, his attention fixed on the crowd ahead. His expression shifted to one of interest.
Shoko looked in that direction as well, raising an eyebrow.
"I think we found the culprit!" Satoru declared, dropping the bags as he disappeared in a flash, leaving Shoko standing alone.
Walking through the crowd was a tall man with broad shoulders and a muscular build. Gojo appeared behind him, his usual playful smirk in place.
"Oi! Bodybuilder guy!" Satoru called out loudly, startling the surrounding people.
Jotaro, the man in question, didn't react at first. He was too focused on the cursed object in his hand, a decayed finger radiating ominous energy.
"I'm talking to you, steroids enjoyer!" Gojo continued, his voice full of mockery as he approached closer.
"OIII-" Before Satoru could call again Jotaro finally turned
"Shut the hell up!" his annoyed expression matching the irritation in his tone.
Gojo's mouth fell open in mock surprise. "Eh? Who do you think you're ordering around, you gorilla?" he shot back, sizing up Jotaro with an unimpressed look.
Only then Jotaro took a moment to assess the figure before him. With white-haired, slightly shorter but still tall for a teenager, with complete black glasses obscuring his eyes. Jotaro's eyes narrowed recognizing the figure as GOJO
For a moment he kept silent, but then remembering what happened just yesterday he let out sigh and extended his hand, revealing the finger to GOJO
"I'm guessing this is what you're looking for," he said calmly. He had no interest in picking a fight with Gojo, his abilities were far too annoying to deal with, and to be honest Jotaro did not hate Gojo, if anything he was one of his favorite characters from Jjk.
Gojo glanced at the finger, his face twisting in disgust. "Ew! Why are you walking around with someone's finger?"
'Never mind I hate him' Jotaro felt a vein twitch in his forehead but kept his composure. He then noticed a figure approaching behind Gojo—a cute girl with brown hair and a cigarette in hand. He recognized her as Shoko Ieiri.
Seeing no effort from Gojo to take the finger, Jotaro simply tossed it to him before turning away. "Since you've got what you wanted, I'll be on my way now." The cursed object had been a hassle for him anyway, constantly attracting cursed spirits.
"Hold on, man" Gojo said, catching the finger and stopping Jotaro in his tracks. "Now you've got to come with us. You left quite a mess behind, you know?"
Jotaro turned his head slightly, a purple aura covered his wide back. "And if I don't?"
Gojo smirked, his tone confident. "Then let's just say you won't have a good time eating the pavement."
The tension between them grew thick, the air almost crackling with energy. Behind Gojo, Shoko narrowed her eyes, fully expecting the two to fight.
But to her and Gojo's surprise, Jotaro sighed, his expression neutral. "Alright, I'll come with you," he said, turning to face Gojo.
Gojo's smirk widened.
