."No, no, no, no," Olive cried as she struggled with the chains. The darkness closed in on her despite the little light coming from a very high opening in the wall and she screamed.
She h@ťěd the darkness. Her eyes became dizzy as it all flowed in.
'Get on the floor.'
'Spread your legs.'
'I'll ki|| you if you don't.'
'Please, mister. Don't hurt me.'
Olive screamed as she was penetrated for the first time ever in her life. It was a cold floor, just like this dungeon. She felt the worst pain ever, and it was all coming back to her.
All the torture that followed the taking away of her innocence. The whipping, the blows, the public segzual harassment by four of the toughest and strongest men in the cult. All when she was just fourteen years.
Olive cried as she remembered all these. She was shaking with fear and the chains dug around her wrists. More pain. Her wolf was agitated. She wanted to get away from that place, and run into the comforting arms of her mate. Where was he?

Wayne Knight was in an urgent meeting with the political heads of the different provinces in Balendin Pack. There was a lack of enough fresh meat amongst the people and they were getting a bit edgy. Werewolves consumed a lot of meat, more than humans and so, the human government were in a deal with the werewolves. To supply a lot of it in return for oil and titanium which Balendin Pack had in abundance. Other packs could give wh@ťěver resources they had, or simply buy, like humans, if they were not as rich in resources as others.
Werewolves preferred to consume fresh, unpackaged meat during the full moon but it was becoming quite scarce. The human government were not supplying the wild animals like deers anymore, and the wolves were thr_@tening to go back to hunting them on full moon nights. This was a big thr_@t because they could hunt down any other thing in their wolf form. And Balendin Pack had a treaty with the human government they couldn't break concerning hunting out.
"Alpha Knight, it's high time we begin to breed our animals since we're not allowed to go hunting and the human government is beginning to look down on us," the representative of Serra province opined. Wayne considered his opinion. It had been on his mind for long, but since the humans supplied enough meat, he often overlooked it. They had not permitted themselves to have animals around as it made feral wolves go even more crazy hunting them all down. And rogue wolves pouch on them too. However, things were changing. They needed fresh meat.
"I agree," another representative said regarding the breeding of their own animals.
"So do I."
"Yes, Alpha Knight. We should do that. We don't have to rely on this human government."
"Dalaman, you take a quick survey over the Loura Woods and see if it's fit for us to get a games reserve there. Just for our personal needs. I would have suggested Kindlenest Forest but it's too dangerous for our youths to hunt. Plus, our animals might get eaten before we even spell our names," Alpha Knight spoke up with his fingers repeatedly tapping on the desk of the meeting room. He was in a haste to see Olive, but the meeting wasn't over yet.
"Yes, sir," Dalaman acknowledged.
"Anything else?"
"Yes. This months Mating Festival coincides with the Cherry Blossom Gala in South Korea. Would we be holding it or are we to—"
The representative had to shut his mouth when he and everyone else in the room noticed how the temperature had suddenly dropped to zero degree Celsius. The Big Bad Alpha's mood had changed, that was what it meant. But did anyone say or do anything wrong?
"Alpha," Jake called gently. Wayne was just sitting straight with his eyes turning into a brownish gold tinge, and his jaw clenched.
"Alpha," a representative called too.
Wayne's lips thinned and he blinked, snapping out of wh@ťěver just took over him.
"The meeting has been postponed to tomorrow morning," Jake said immediately. The representatives weren't too happy that they were going to stay another day, after waiting for him to return from his journey for two days before having the meeting. They however dispersed in few minutes.
Alpha Wayne's jaw was still clenched and his fists balled.
"Wayne, what's going on with you?" Jake asked again. Wayne's breathing fastened and got deeper.
"I have no idea. I'm just angry," he replied and ruffled his hair.
Jake was surprised. Sure, Wayne had a terrible temper, but he didn't get angry just for no reason. This was again new. How many new things would he encounter since Wayne now had a mate?
Wait… Wayne's Mate. Could it be her?
"Does this have something to do with Olive? I mean, you tend to do weird things since you found out about her," Jake said. Wayne's eyes popped open.
"Where is she?" he asked.
"In the room you asked for her to be—" before he could complete his sentence, Alpha Knight was out of the room.
He had used werewolf speed to sprint out of the boardroom and through all the hallways that led to the room Olive was kept. The guards were still standing there. He pulled open the door and saw a half naked girl on the floor, unconscious. She smelt nothing like his Olive. His Olive's smell wasn't even strong in the room. His eyes turned golden brown again and the temperature dropped.
"Where is the lady you were supposed to watch over?" hie voice boomed. The guards were thrown aback by his question.
"She's inside, Alpha. She didn't leave the room," one of them answered.
"Did anyone come here?" he asked again.
"Only a kitchen maid who came to serve her breakfast. And she left almost immediately," another guard answered. Alpha Wayne's face twitched into a knowing smile. Olive had escaped from the room.
"Go, find out about a new female in the palace. Find her and bring her to me," he ordered and the guards hurried away. Jake caught up with him that moment and with the look on his face, he knew Olive had escaped. He wasn't surprised. He had noticed the girl wasn't the type to give up easily.
He followed Wayne out and gave more orders in finding the girl. No one, except the men they traveled with knew Wayne Knight had found his mate, or that she was Olive.
The two men walked into an elevator that was supposed to take them to the ground floor of the castle. After they reached, it opened and a lady, Gia was standing there with hands on her waist. She was the daughter of one of their prime politicians and, and she absolutely despised Alpha Wayne.
The Alpha stepped out of the elevator and almost knocked Gia down as he walked away. She cussed after him and rolled her eyes.
Few seconds later, Alpha Wayne stopped in his tracks.
"Something's wrong with her" he breathed out. Jake's face turned to that of curiosity and fear.
"What could be wrong with your mate?" he whispered.
"She might have entered the wrong hands. Send an order to check the dungeons immediately," Wayne commanded out loud and the men who had just come to stand around him hurried away at once. He and Jake walked away too.
Behind them was Gia Kalif, the big-eyed, round faced Blondie who h@ťěd her alpha to the core of her heart. She hadn't moved and was still staring at the Alpha and Beta duo. Her large eyes bulged.
"Mate?" she asked aloud. Alpha Knight had found his mate? She was missing? Was that why he was looking so disoriented?
Gia's lips twitched and she rolled her eyes. It didn't matter to her if there was going to be a new lady in the castle who was going to have power and authority. Who was going to rule over her, alongside the terrible Alpha.
However, a bit of jealousy nibbed at her heart at the thought of a superior woman, other than her. Because at the moment, she was the strongest woman in the pack.
