Riley got in the car and sat in the passenger seat. It was just the four of them. Kim had stayed back at the hotel because she wanted to leave the family alone to sort their drama. Kiara and Riley were silent, the only people who were talking were the two little girls who couldn't contain their smiles.
Kiara kept glancing at Riley and the more she looked the more her smile grew. Riley caught his mother's look, "Uhm, do I have something on my face?" Riley asked innocently. Kiara shook her head and answered, "No, It's just that it feels nice to see you outside of a picture you know."
Riley smiled, "Yea, I know." Silent again in the car, the twins however were having none of it as they urged their mother to go shopping. They too wanted to go shopping with their brother since one of their friends from school had once flexed that she sometimes goes to the mall with her brother.
Kiara glanced at Riley to see if he would be willing and Riley nodded, indicating that he had no problem with that. The Rolls Royce entered the parking lot in the local mall. The little family got out the car and walked towards the entrance of the mall.
Ever since he landed her in Germany, Riley has never had the urge to visit the mall. This is because he didn't really need anything from there and he hadn't gotten a girl he liked to take to the mall.
"Soooooo, I heard from uncle Nux that you don't have a phone. How about we start with that?" Kiara asked, Riley looked at this beautiful woman and nodded. "Okay, I too think it's time I got a phone." Riley was quick to answer.
Kiara asked Riley to ask around for the nearest IStore, since she didn't know german and Riley has been studying it. Riley asked a teen he saw standing nearby and she pointed him a direction. He flashed a smile thanking the girl and her face went bright red. Kiara seeing this smiled lightly and nodded, 'That's my boy.'
Riley relayed what the girl said to his mom and the three followed him. They eventually saw a huge sign indicating that they have found the store they were looking for. The family of four entered and the people were instantly taken aback. Kiara although 37 years old, looked after herself so she was extremely beautiful. The twins taking after their mother but still young and had youthful appearance were cute and Riley with his handsome face rounded off this family's good genes.
Kiara and her children didn't mind this little bit of attention as they browsed the store for the phone they liked. "See anything you like?" Kiara asked Riley. "Not really, they all look the same." Riley shrugged.
Kiara chuckled and told him about IPhone, telling him the latest one was the IPHONE 14 and that she will buy that one for him. He should translate. Riley nodded and went over to the counter to tell the woman working there what his mother said.
The buying process was smooth and Riley was happy to finally have a phone, Kiara bought him the other accessories that were on display, air pods, apple watch and even a MacBook. Riley looked at Kiara and felt a little uncomfortable, 'How come I grew up poor?' He thought.
Kiara not knowing what her son was thinking was buying everything happily. The attendant was ecstatic, she woke up today hoping for a normal day but who knew she will meet a customer who can ball like this woman. Her commission will be pretty and that brought a smile on her face and she treated Kiara like a goddess who descended from heaven.
They left the store and decided to walk around the mall looking through windows. Kiara still wanted to buy stuff for Riley. "You brought enough clothes from Portugal?" Kiara asked and before Riley could answer Alisha chirped in, "Mom, come on. You can never have enough clothes remember." Kiara was instantly embarrassed, that's what she used to say when she travelled. She looked at Riley and he just nodded blankly. 'Why would you even teach kids that? Rich people are weird.' Riley thought.
With that said, the family of four entered a clothing store and they started browsing, Riley was stunned at the price of the clothes in the store and was about to protest and ask to go to a different store but when he saw Kiara picking clothes for him with a smile on her face, he simply shook his head with a smile.
