Kiara and the twins were having fun picking clothes for Riley. When they were done the gave him all the clothes they had picked up to try them on. Riley was flabbergasted, 'So many!' He screamed internally.
Riley went to the dressing room designated for male and he put down all the clothes. Looking at them, he was browsing on what to put on first. He picked up a white golf t-shirt and beige pants. When his eyes landed on the price he nearly passed out right then and there.
Riley carefully put his new clothes on and went out the dressing room. When Kiara and the twins saw him they were full of praises, even some females in the store nodded in approval. Riley kept going in and out the dressing room wearing different clothing. He was stunned as his innocent dressing up for his family has turned into a modelling show.
Almost everyone in the store had stopped what they were doing and were watching Riley change into different clothes. Kiara, a former model and a businesswoman in the modelling business, started having thoughts about using Riley as her brands face but something told her not to. (Nepotism girl!)
Finally Dortmund's impromptu fashion show came to an end and everyone dispersed. Kiara asked if Riley like any of the clothes but the twins answered for him, "You look good in all of them big brother. Take them all." Riley looked at his mother and she flashed a smile. Riley reluctantly agreed to buy everything.
The total for all the clothing was €230,470. Riley's was immune to these kinds of amounts now, he wasn't even surprised at it anymore. Kiara paid for the clothing, she also got a few stuff for her, the twins and the nanny.
They exited the store and didn't know where to go. Riley just wanted to leave but he didn't say anything because he could see his mother seemed to be struggling with something. "You guys hungry? Look there, a small restaurant." Riley broke the silence. They trio nodded and followed Riley as he entered the restaurant.
They got a table and settled down, they were assigned a waiter who seemed to be in his 20's. "Welcome, would you like to order?" He said in german. Kiara, Alisha and Aaliyah looked over at Riley and he chuckled a little bit and answered, "Yes please. Can we have four menus, two for kids and two for adults."
The waiter left the menus and left for a bit to allow them to select their dishes. They quickly selected their dishes and the waiter came back to take their orders. A few minutes passed and the food was ready, the family of four started eating and having their fill. Riley kept glancing at Kiara who seemed like she wanted to say something.
Riley looked around and he spotted what looked like a kids play station inside the restaurant, he got an idea. "Alisha, Aaliyah look over there." Riley pointed to the corner and all three women looked over. "That looks like a play area. Wanna go?" Riley asked, and the twin's face beamed. They quickly followed Riley who was leading them.
Riley and the twins got to the play area and they started playing a little while. Riley saw they were comfortable and he left them. Heading straight back to his mother.
Kiara started fidgeting with her cutlery as she spotted Riley coming back to the table. She could guess that he saw through her anxiety and took the girls to play so she can speak to him alone.
"They are so energetic." Riley said, and Kiara smiled as she looked at the play area, "Yea, they are." Kiara looked at Riley and couldn't help but smile, but her smile dropped following what Riley said to her next.
"Mom… d-did you hate me back then that you had to give me to dad?" Riley said with a hint of nervousness.
Kiara's world exploded at those words and her eyes suddenly turned red. She held Riley's hands that were on the table. Riley could see her go through that emotion in real time.
"No, no. I have never, even once hated you. You are my darling boy. What happened back then is really complicated. I don't even know where to start if I were to explain." Kiara said in one go, holding back the tears that were threatening to spill over.
