"You dare lie to me boy! You dare fuckin' lie to me?" Diogo shouted as he grabbed Riley by his curly hair. Riley struggled as he tried to pry his head away from his father's firm grip. "I will ask you one more time and if you dare lie to me again I will make you regret it!" Diogo was not budging.
"I went to the game, we had a game father." As much as it hurt as his father was pulling on his hair he didn't shed a single tear because he knew that once he cried his father will beat him even more with the excuse of teaching him 'men don't cry'
"Football again huh? Who do you think you are boy? Cristiano Ronaldo? From poor to rich huh? Fuck you and your football… in fact fuck your whore of a mother too. Leaving you with me you ruined my life and you want to play football?" Diogo vented his anger at Riley.
Riley's eyes looked lifeless as his father dragged him by his hair.
'Where did it all go wrong? Is it even my fault? Maybe I shouldn't have been born.' Riley's thoughts.

A euro 2008 match between Switzerland and Portugal. In the stands we could see a young Diogo shirtless and singing at the top of his lungs as his team was on the attack. Unfortunately that attack amounted to nothing as his country lost 2-0. Him and his friends left the stadium and went to the nearest bar.
"How could we lose to Switzerland?" Diogo who was down mumbled. All of a sudden the door swang open and a group of gorgeous women entered the bar giggling and settled in a corner table. All the men froze and started having perverted thoughts about the women. "Must be local hookers? Hahahaha" one of Diogo's friends said and that earned a laugh from the group. Diogo laid his eyes on a woman and he was particularly drawn to her. Sensing the stare, the beautiful woman looked over, "Ouuu, Kiara you got a fool in love." One gorgeous woman said to the beautiful African woman by her side with a heavy british accent.
"Stop it." Kiara said with a giggle and she smiled and waved to Diogo. He was taken aback by that smile and he was mesmerised. Diogo quickly got his bearings and stood up to introduce himself.
