Riley who had sweat all over his body was approaching a house with his fastest speed. This house was his home where he lives with his father, Diogo Santos.
The house was depleted to say the least. The door looked like it would break if you pulled or pushed too hard, some windows were broken and some had cracks. Riley didn't go inside the house but circled around it and went inside a shed that had been in the yard.
Riley sat inside the shed to try and calm down and as time went by he did. The sweat had long dried on his body he desperately needed to bathe. "I hope he isn't back yet but even if he is, it's better he sees me coming out the shed." Riley murmured to himself.
Riley stood up to leave the shed and made his way to the house. As he reached for the door handle he suddenly heard whistling in the house. His heart quickened as he took a deep breath to calm it. He pushed open the door and laid his eyes on the man sitting in the middle of the kitchen with a few beer bottles on the table.
"H-Hello father." Riley spoke with a timid voice. Diogo looked at his son and rose from his seat. "Where were you boy? I've long been home and never saw you." Diogo asked as he came face to face with Riley. Riley on the other hand was shaking from fright, "I was in the shed father. You know studying." Riley never once raising his head. "Liar!"
"Paah"
Diogo shouted and raised his hand and gave Riley a slap across his face that threw him against the wall.
