Chapter 6 - Abuse of power

In the court meeting, the six kingdoms were present. The meeting was about to start, and murmurs filled the room as they began.

"I welcome all the rulers of these kingdoms to this meeting today. I am very happy that I called this meeting and that you all answered my summons. I am here today to give an order to each one of you who wishes to stay alive."

"Order? You mean order? Which order?" Ites replied angrily. "I am your leader. Whatever I decide, you will do. What audacity you have to speak to me like that! You are very bold."

The other kings were disappointed in Pac. They shook their heads at him, as he had embarrassed himself in front of the rulers. Pac felt humiliated by Ites' words and stood up again.

"It's never too late. I have nothing to do with any of you here today. If you allow me to sit on the throne, everything will be as it should be. But if you refuse to accept this, you are all gone, including the others," Nate spoke to Ites.

"Why are you being so rebellious? Don't you remember what we have in common? Have you forgotten what we've been through together?" Veg of Vegeta urged him to remember.

As Veg spoke, his voice trembled, and he lost confidence. It seemed that he did not want to die. The other members of the court exchanged uneasy glances. Pac gave a signal to his soldiers, and they came in, killing all the guards and forcing the others to submit to him. This made the rulers worried and fearful that they might lose their heads.

"Don't do this to us, please. We beg you. Okay, don't worry. We will support you. What do you want us to say?" the court echoed. "You are going to become the leader." They asked Ites to step down from the position of leader. Ites left the seat for Pac to take.

As soon as Ites stood up, Pac took his seat, and the others showed him respect. He addressed them, "My brothers, I am glad you made this decision, and it's a good one. Now that I am the leader, you must report to me about what is happening in your kingdoms. Anything that happens, you must tell me first."

Though they were unhappy with the situation, they pretended to be pleased. The meeting ended, and they went their separate ways. Some congratulated Pac, and Nate stayed beside him as they conversed with the others. Nate whispered in his ear, "I need to discuss something urgent with you."

"What do you want to discuss with me? You know I am in the middle of a conversation with my brothers. Let's have our meeting later," Pac replied. Nate left him and went outside. The other members of the court were outside, discussing how to overthrow Pac.

"We must dethrone him immediately before he goes too far. He needs to be stopped before he ends up destroying himself," Kac said to the kings.

Nate overheard their conversation but acted as though he hadn't noticed. The kings went back to their respective kingdoms. They escorted Pac to Moha, and upon their arrival, the king sent for Nate.

"My King, you sent for me?" Nate asked as he bowed to the king.

"You said you had something to tell me during the meeting," Pac said to Nate.

"Yes, my lord. I want to discuss something that concerns life and death. We need to act very quickly," Nate replied.

Nate informed Pac of what he had overheard from the court members—their plans against the Mohaians. Pac was furious upon hearing this and said, "Nate, we are going to war. I will not sit here and watch things unfold this way. I must act swiftly. Get me five hundred thousand soldiers. I want them to destroy the kingdoms of Trasia, Majin, and Vegeta in a single day. I want their people to carry the burden."

Nate tried to convince the king, but all his efforts were in vain. The king immediately set a date for the mission. Nate received orders that Trasia, Majin, and Vegeta would be destroyed. This was part of his plan to have the six kingdoms fight each other.

Nate, in his chamber, thought about the mission the king had given him. He paced from left to right. Jos and Nar entered his chamber, and he was visibly confused. "How did you manage to enter my chamber without knocking?" Nate asked.

"We knocked, but we didn't hear your voice, so that's why we came in," Jos responded.

After Jos finished speaking, Nar asked, "Nate, why did you send for us?"

"My friends, I sent for you to advise me on what the king asked me to do," Nate replied.

Nar gave an honest response, "This is what we've been waiting for. Now that it's begun, it's going to last a long time. I see they are fighting over the throne, and this will be very interesting."

"Nate, I am eager to see what will happen if we attack the three kingdoms in a single day, finish them, cut off their heads, take their wealth, and enslave all their women. This is just the beginning. Something terrible is on its way."
