"The Assault Tournament?" One said as another spoke up, "I'm going to win it all," but someone else interjected, "Are you dumb? Thomas is going to win it all." The teacher settled the class with a gesture as he continued, "I'm sure our National Champion Finalist will win it all; however, most importantly, Mage's Man of Magic; it's actually bizarre; Ben Voll is in the running to win, who even was that guy."
Vince looked annoyed at the hate for Ben Voll. He wasn't even here to defend himself, and it showed; a small girl, around 5'7, turned to Vince and started to speak, "Vince, please calm down. It's not worth it." Vince felt like speaking out, but he knew once the people were set on something, they weren't fickle.
Thomas nodded, enjoying the fact that the people in the class saw him as one of the greats. They believed that everything, every award, every fight, every struggle would be easily taken by Thomas, "Also, Thomas Dale and Vince Vanderfork are in the running for Mage's Man of Magic. Good job, two great students."
The class ended later and Sylvia and Thomas sat under a canopy, "So what's the next part of the plan? They'd obviously have highly trained people guarding the compound or where they are hiding."
Thomas nodded and truly thought about what she had said, "This is what I truly like about you: you're smart, and you're always thinking about the next step whilst taking the first step." Sylvia nodded as she waited for him to explain, "Okay, tomorrow night, we will go to the location mentioned."
Thomas nodded as Princess Jasmine sat down at the table, too tired, drinking an energy drink, "So how are we sure she's telling the truth." Thomas thought about it before speaking, "There's no guarantee but it's the only thing we have."
