Don and Ryan sat behind the school's main building where they were annoyed, "Man, she basically ran off with Thomas. What's so great about him?" Ryan started but Don thought about it, "I mean he's powerful, made it to the National Finals, he protected the Princess-"
Ryan spoke up, "I was going to jump up, I swear!"

Vince wondered about the school, and the girl that was seated next to him earlier was accompanying him; she had blonde pigtails, a crop top hoodie with a black shirt underneath, grey sweatpants and a grey baseball cap. "So how are we going to find Thomas?"
She asked, "I'm not sure, but they seemed to be part of a cult; there aren't many cults operating in this area." They walked into the library where the librarian sat behind a desk, they walked in and looked around. They didn't know what to look for: Book of Legends, Book of Demons, Scrolls of Origins.
They were stumped, "But Vince, why should we go through that length to save Ben? He's probably dead?" She said coldly, and Vince looked at her, annoyed, "Ben was a guy who put others before himself, he saved overs, and I'm sure I would be captured if he wasn't here."
"How so?" She asked curiously as she looked at more books, "He advised me not to go the hall when that attack happened. I swear that if I had gone, I would have gotten snatched up immediately. You were sick that day and lucky. You were because there was a creature patrolling the Hallways killing indiscriminately. You wouldn't have gone to the hall, and that thing would have killed you."
"So he inadvertently saved your life by his heroics, might have to thank him for that." She said the last part quietly, loud enough for him to hear but not make it out, "What was that?"
