It was night. "How are we going to get to Elderion? It's not exactly a 5-minute trek; it would take 6 hours," Echo said. She was seated at a cafe as cars passed by at the roadside.
Nova spoke, "That's why we left on Friday." Echo looked at him confused, "It was Friday?" As if the story was rewritten at his convenience but they didn't question it. They started to walk up the road with their shadowy masks.
The Obsidian Nexus waited at the coach stop until the coach stopped and there were about 20 people in total for a 40 seat. With their enhanced magic, they teleported into seats at the back and within minutes, the coach was off to Elderion.
Hours passed, all of them were asleep and it was weird. No one staying vigilant. No one looking for an undisclosed enemy that was just out of sight. After 4 hours of rest, all of them were awake, except for Thomas. All their masks were off and Princess Jasmine finally wasn't next to Thomas.
"So what do you guys think about Midgar?" Sylvia asked as they rode along the highway, with the occasional car going the other way. "The school is big, and we live on-site; it's convenient, you know," Lucy said with a smile.
Jasmine laid back, "It's a nice place; people are so easily fooled; it's good." She said with a grin. Sylvia looked out the window before looking at the sleeping Thomas next to her. "So Jasmine, what's up with Don and Ryan?"
"They're annoying." She said with no hesitation, Lucy looked at Princess Jasmine, "Oh, but they care for you and love you." Princess Jasmine clearly didn't want to talk about them, but she did, "They're some clingy nobles that will do anything for me; it becomes annoying after a short time."
