"Kara! Kara! Fight! Fight for your life". Kara's mum Nareen shouted and cried.
"You have to step back ma'am". One of the nurses politely told her.
"This is my daughter that we are talking about she needs me. Kara! Kara! Ka....". Nareen couldn't stop shouting but she was interrupted by the nurse.
"We would try everything we can to make sure she is okay. Sit back here and pray". The nurse said finally and closed the glass door.
Nareen knew in her heart that given the situation of her daughter, it would only take a miracle for her to be okay. She dropped on the floor and kept crying also muttering words of prayer.
In the theatre, the doctors and nurses were trying to stop Kara from bleeding but all their efforts proved unfruitful.
"What is going on! Get more cloths! Nurse Oh press the blood pack tightly, she's losing a lot already!". One of the doctors handling Kara yelled with fear in his eyes.
Beep! Beep! Beep! "Get the defibrillator!". The doctor yelled. He knew deep inside him that she was already gone but had to do all he could.
The machine read zeros. Beads of sweat dropped from the doctor's forehead.
"Death of Kara Williams, 24th of December 2024, at 9:30pm". The doctor announced with pain, shook his head and covered Kara with a white cloth.
Nareen felt a hit on her chest. She knew she had lost her daughter.
The glass door opened in front of her. She saw the doctors an nurses trooping out. "What...er...e....I...s....she". Nareen stuttered as she asked the doctors and nurses with her hands trembling.
"I am truly sorry Mrs. Nareen but the patient passed away as we weren't able to stop the bleeding". The doctor replied and walked away.
Nareen dropped on the floor again and kept screaming like a mad woman. "Kara!Kara!".
