Chapter 5 - PART THREE: LET HER IN.

After waiting on the line for a long time, it was finally Kara's turn to face judgement.

"Kara Williams thou may give account of thy life now". One of the angel said.

Kara looked at the angel. The angel had beautiful long golden hair. The angel was a female and she looked just like human except the fact that she glowed with wings and clothes as white as snow.

Kara saw all of this as a joke and asked the Angel. "What exactly do you want me to say".

The angel smiled at her and said. "Tell us about yourself and how you lived your life on earth".

"Okay, my name is Kara Williams. I am 19 yeas old. I am from California. I just got into college. I live with my mum. I don't have a dad, because he passed away four years ago. After all our prayers". Kara whispered the last part but the angel heard her.

"How did you live on earth". She ignored Kara's last comment and proceeded with the questions.

"Ha! You don't really want to know how I lived right? You just want to know if I was a Christian or not. The truth is I was not a Christian. I grew up in a Christian home. My dad was a fervent Christian and so was my mum. When I was little we never joked with God. I never joked with Him. I prayed everyday and even if I didn't see the results I still believed because i was told that if I prayed and believed that I would receive, I would have everything I asked for. But that was just a myth because when I turned 15 my dad died. He had lung cancer. I remember how I locked myself in a room praying and asking for God's help only to hear my mum's cry thirty minutes later, that my dad was no more. Ever since that day, I lived my life the way I wanted to live it. I no longer believed in God". Kara replied coldly.

The angel looked at Kara and opened the book of life.

"There is no way her name would be there you are wasting your time". Lucifer who was growing impatient said to the angel.

The angel ignored him and continued her search.

Indeed, Kara's name wasn't in the book of life but neither was it in that of death.

She paused and looked at Kara.

Pondering on what to do, a voice like that of many waters spoke out again.

"Angel Haniel, let her in".

Everyone in the hall paused including Lucifer and his cohorts.

"Master what is going on. Don't tell me God is still fighting over this soul? What is in her?". One of the cohorts asked Lucifer with a loud voice.

"Lilith! Why don't you ask Him? You better keep shut. I don't want to be punished". Lucifer said to his cohorts with fear and anger.

Angel Haniel turned to her co-angels and nodded slightly signalling them to continue with the judgments as she led Kara into the golden gate.
