A knock came at the door but I ignored it, snuggling deeper into the covers instead. I knew it was morning already as natural light filled the room and the birds chirped in the distance, however I wasn't ready to start the day yet.
If exhaustion was a person that would be me. Ever since I went to battle with the warriors against the rogues and nearly died from blood loss and severe pains, Tobias had made it his life aim to train me into an assassin.
Yes I said it, an assassin. Because I sure knew the intense workout and training he had put me under wasn't just to protect myself or join the warriors whenever problem came up again.
He was in no way taking it easy on me as he started to show me his ruthless and stern side. Even the warriors who trained alongside me felt my pain and some even sent me sympathetic looks.
