Danzo looked at his technique, and there was no movement in the center of Uzumaki Chito's body, which made him breathe a sigh of relief.
"Danzo, what's going on with your eyes?" Hiruzen asked, shocked.
Didn't you lose your eyes in the war?
Why have they been replaced with a Sharingan?
And not just any Sharingan, but a Mangekyo Sharingan?
Danzo whispered, "I'll explain... later."
Hiruzen swallowed the words that were about to escape his throat.
Danzo tilted his head, staring at Uzumaki Chito. "From now on, you are a ninja of Konoha. Everything you do will be dedicated to Konoha, loyal to Konoha, and loyal to me!"
His sudden commanding tone surprised everyone present.
They didn't understand where Danzo had gotten the confidence to say such things. Was it because of his eyes?
It seemed Danzo noticed the doubts in the eyes of those around him.
He raised his hand, touched the Sharingan eye, and explained, "This Mangekyo Sharingan carries a special technique called Kotoamatsukami."
"This is the strongest Genjutsu. As long as I wish, I can permanently and completely change a person's mind and will."
Danzo took a deep breath. "Although it's not easy to admit, I've always kept this ace hidden in Konoha for survival. But now that such a strong person has appeared in the village, it's... time to use this technique."
Uzumaki Chito chuckled. "Kotoamatsukami... It's a good name."
"But are you sure this will have any effect on me?"
Danzo's words were interrupted by Uzumaki Chito, his cold gaze piercing like a sword. The chilling stare made Danzo realize—the Kotoamatsukami had no effect!
This legendary, strongest Genjutsu had no power here.
Uzumaki Chito still held a hostile attitude toward Konoha and refused to bow to Danzo.
"How could this be...?" Danzo was stunned, cold sweat beginning to pour from his back.
"Your Genjutsu can indeed be called the strongest," Uzumaki Chito chuckled. "As for why it doesn't work on me..."
Uzumaki Chito raised his face, his expression cold. "Do you think the fragile will of mortals can affect gods?"
Mortals. Gods.
These two words perfectly summed up the gulf between Konoha's ninjas and Uzumaki Chito.
"Let Konoha..." Uzumaki Chito began, raising his hand, preparing for the final strike to destroy Konoha. But then his movements suddenly stopped, and his gaze flicked to the side.
In a corner of the ninja school, a dark shadow shuddered.
That gaze... It knew of its own existence!
The shadow almost subconsciously tried to flee.
Uzumaki Chito made no move to stop it, but he couldn't help thinking—this black shadow was Zetsu, the only one in the entire ninja world with such a habit of spying.
Uzumaki Chito glanced thoughtfully at Naruto.
A thought suddenly flashed in his mind.
If he let Konoha fall just like this, it would be too boring.
Perhaps he should do something more interesting—train Naruto, maybe even let Naruto join Akatsuki, and watch the hero's son destroy Konoha himself?
The legendary child of destiny, the one who would save the world, now choosing to become the demon king who would destroy Konoha?
Wouldn't that be more interesting than simply destroying Konoha with his own hands?
As Uzumaki Chito clenched his palm, the earth blade in the sky vanished.
"I will spare your lives, give you a chance to survive. I hope you can fight again in the future."
Looking at the group of black-pressed ants below him, Uzumaki Chito pulled Naruto toward him and slowly ascended into the air. From high above, he revealed the posture of a god.
"Don't go against my will, or this game will become boring." Hiruzen, oppressed by that gaze, found himself unable to lift his head.
Konoha... had suffered such humiliation.
It had been swaggered upon by outsiders, its most important people taken away.
But despite using all their ace cards, they had failed to stop this man.
A sense of powerlessness.
A heavy feeling of helplessness hung over the entire village.
Uzumaki Chito was about to fly away, but then his movements froze. He waved his hand—Might Guy, who had fallen unconscious on the ground, and in another corner of the village, a young man with thick eyebrows, wearing a green tight suit and a watermelon head, also flew over.
These two could be considered some of the few true ninjas left in Konoha.
With these three, Uzumaki Chito broke through the air and flew toward the distant sky.
It wasn't until he reached a peninsula near the sea that he stopped, descending slowly.
Here, only ruins remained, and moss grew in rows, burying the remnants of what once stood.
Naruto looked at the scene, a somewhat dazed expression on his face.
Uzumaki Chito, looking at the ruins, appeared a little nostalgic. He sighed softly. "This was once the residence of the Uzumaki clan, the former owners of the Land of Whirlpools... Your mother's hometown."
