Uchiha Obito was feeling a complex mix of emotions.
He hadn't expected that his plan to persuade Uzumaki Chito would fail, and as a result, he had ended up dying for his actions, now controlled by Uzumaki Chito.
What puzzled him even more was why Uzumaki Chito wanted Naruto to join Akatsuki.
But since the master had commanded it, he would comply.
Uchiha Obito didn't act immediately. He hesitated, wondering what identity he should use to approach Naruto.
Uchiha Madara, or his true identity?
After some thought, Uchiha Obito jumped off the reef and walked toward Naruto.
The sudden appearance of a figure caused Naruto and the others to stop their training.
Might Guy looked at the newcomer cautiously, then glanced up at the reef where Uzumaki Chito was still sitting. Guy's body tensed for a moment before he relaxed.
Since Lord Chito was still there, this person must have come with his permission.
"Who are you?" Might Guy asked softly, looking at him.
Obito stopped and looked at them.
He hesitated for a long time, then slowly removed his mask. He decided to reveal his true identity in front of these two.
After thinking for a moment, he had made his decision. After all, he and Might Guy were acquainted, and revealing his true self would undoubtedly be more convincing.
"It's me, Might Guy. Long time no see," Uchiha Obito said softly, offering a greeting.
Might Guy frowned. He felt a sense of familiarity but couldn't place it.
Until he saw the Sharingan in Obito's right eye, which reminded him of Kakashi.
At that moment, he suddenly realized. "You're Obito, Uchiha Obito... aren't you dead?"
"I was supposed to die," Uchiha Obito replied with a shake of his head. "But I survived."
"Then why didn't you return to Konoha?" Guy asked, confused.
Obito sneered. "It's ridiculous to return to Konoha. I saw the darkness of Konoha long before you did."
"Do you know how Rin died?"
Without waiting for Guy to respond, Uchiha Obito spoke again.
"Nohara Rin."
A familiar yet unfamiliar name. Might Guy's mind conjured up the image of an innocent and energetic girl.
But how she died wasn't something Might Guy knew clearly. Konoha's records said Rin had died at the hands of the Mist Ninja.
However, from the tone of Uchiha Obito's voice, it didn't seem that simple...
Might Guy stayed silent.
Uchiha Obito sneered. "Rin died at Kakashi's hands. The Mist implanted the Three-Tails in Rin's body. They intended to use her to release the Three-Tails and destroy Konoha. Kakashi, without hesitation, killed Rin."
"This is Konoha, a ridiculous village. There were many ways to counter this, with Minato or even Jiraiya. Rin could've easily been a new Jinchuriki for Konoha, but instead of saving her, Kakashi killed her."
Guy fell silent.
Obito looked at the two of them and sighed. "Let's not dwell on the sad things from the past. I came here this time to invite both of you..."
He was referring specifically to Naruto and Guy, ignoring Rock Lee, who was standing behind Might Guy.
"...to join Akatsuki."
Might Guy was stunned, and Naruto was also taken aback.
"Akatsuki? What does this organization do?" Naruto asked quickly.
Uchiha Obito lowered his head and glanced at Naruto. "You're my teacher's son. You really resemble him. Akatsuki is an organization I created with the aim of destroying the Five Great Powers, ending war with war, and bringing eternal peace to the ninja world."
"Eternal peace..."
These words made Naruto's heart flutter.
Might Guy was also excited.
They both glanced at Uzumaki Chito, and Uchiha Obito spoke softly: "That lord, he is indifferent to the affairs of the ninja world. He will not stop us, and similarly, he will not help us."
Might Guy was still thinking.
Naruto nodded decisively. "Okay, I've decided to join Akatsuki! I want to bring true peace to the ninja world. I want to become a Kage who makes everyone happy!"
Uchiha Obito smiled slightly. This kid really looked a little like him.
Naruto had agreed, and Might Guy didn't hesitate for too long before agreeing as well.
Uchiha Obito looked at them and smiled slightly. "Very good... Welcome to Akatsuki."
On the other side of the sea, the sun glowed with a scorching light.
Uzumaki Chito squinted his eyes slightly, watching.
As a senior figure, Uchiha Obito had taken on the task of training Naruto along with Guy during this time.
Chito Uzumaki had only handed Naruto some basic sealing techniques and his father's signature jutsu, Rasengan.
After all, Naruto without Rasengan was like a burger without the meat
