Chapter 32 - Provocation  

A feeling of dislike arose when Raul saw Zayd holding Starley's hand for quite a long time. Suddenly, he was urged to pull Zayd away so he wouldn't touch Starley's hand for too long. But quickly, Starley covered her panic by responding, "Have you ever heard that everyone in this world has seven doppelgängers they haven't met?"

Zayd's eyebrows raised upon hearing Starley's answer. Luckily, Starley was wearing a hat, so her face wasn't visible. "Maybe you've seen or crossed paths with one of my doppelgängers," Starley added casually. After that, Starley pulled her hand away from Zayd's grip. Then she lifted her chin like a woman from high society. It wasn't difficult to act like that when she grew up surrounded by such people.

 

Zayd still looked suspicious. He stared at Starley and then at Raul, who seemed to sense that Zayd looked suspicious. After that, Raul wrapped his arm possessively around Starley's small waist.
