Kaelron arrived at the merfolk palace, determined to retrieve Lynaria. However, when he was denied entry, he caused a commotion right at the palace gates. One of the merfolk guards taunted him, questioning their close relationship and how much Kaelron cared about her personal matters. Kaelron, enraged, demanded Lynaria be returned to him immediately and threatened to kill the guard if he didn't comply.
The guard, however, wasn't intimidated and retorted that Kaelron had no authority there.
Meanwhile, Lynaria tried to intervene by speaking with Prince Pluto, pleading for him to let her go in order to prevent more of his soldiers from being sacrificed. However, Pluto refused to back down, preferring to confront Kaelron head-on. Kaelron, left with no other option, eagerly accepted the challenge. A fierce battle broke out between the Dragon King and the merfolk prince, threatening the very existence of the underwater kingdom. The vibrations from their clash triggered an earthquake that wreaked havoc on the ocean floor.
Lynaria, realizing the destruction caused, rushed to separate them and warned that their battle could bring disaster to the world. Both men paused, confused. Lynaria pointed out the chaos they had caused. Kaelron and Pluto finally noticed the damage, but Pluto, unwilling to surrender, still wanted to continue the duel, challenging Kaelron to take it to land. Lynaria, increasingly frustrated, simply walked away, leaving them behind.
When Kaelron saw Lynaria leaving, he immediately stopped the battle and chased after her. Pluto, thinking he had won, believed that Kaelron had fled the fight. Meanwhile, back at the palace, Lynaria entered her private quarters and bumped into Ares, asking for his help. She told him that if Kaelron came looking for her, he should tell him she hadn't returned yet. Ares, sensing her frustration, agreed to relay the message.
When Kaelron arrived and inquired about Lynaria, Ares simply passed along her message. Kaelron, already growing impatient, was about to search for Lynaria himself when Ares stopped him and advised him to wait. Ares explained that Lynaria didn't want to see him right now and that pushing her further would only make her pull away more. Kaelron, reluctantly, decided to follow Ares' advice and stopped pursuing Lynaria.
The next day, Lynaria returned to training her troops and organized a one-on-one duel to test their progress. As she watched the fight, Ares approached her, asking if the duel was a way to vent her frustration with Kaelron. Lynaria assured him that it was simply to evaluate her soldiers' skills, not related to any personal feelings.
Ares then informed Lynaria that Kaelron wanted to meet with her immediately. Surprised, Lynaria quickly left to meet him. Upon arriving in his office, she calmly asked why he had called for her. Kaelron reminded her of a task he had given her earlier, and Lynaria, confused, apologized for forgetting to submit the report. Kaelron, however, wouldn't accept it and gave her another task as punishment: to go to the forbidden land and eliminate the monster terrorizing the villagers there.
Although frustrated by the task, Lynaria accepted without protest and set off on her mission. Ares, concerned, protested Kaelron's decision, questioning why Lynaria, a human, was being sent alone to such a dangerous place. Kaelron, dismissing his concerns, told Ares that if he was so worried, he could go after her, but once he left the palace, he wouldn't be allowed to return.
With that threat, Ares fell silent and left, while Kaelron, disappointed by Lynaria's willingness to accept the dangerous task, wondered why she didn't hesitate. Meanwhile, Lynaria was already heading out of the dragon kingdom toward the forbidden land. Once there, she quickly sought information from the locals. She went to find the village chief to inquire about the creature terrorizing their village. A local, who had ignored her at first, later recognized the royal token on her clothing and approached her with a warm smile, greeting her as the Dragon General.
