Chapter 80 - Chapter 80: The campfire date

Music could be heard from all directions. Asmodeos and Peter were already of the mind to stuff themselves with some vegetable soup, made from the gnome mini-farms, and dance the night away.

There was just one problem.

The huge bonfire in the middle of the clearing refused to light up. No matter to which deity the gnomes prayed, the wood remained wet, and the kindling remained dripping water.

"Someone is sabotaging our date!" Asmodeos said, for he had seen the orcs had felled the tree, and he was certain that it should not have gotten wet.

"Probably. It is hunting time," Peter had expected to be left a single night of fun, but as it turned out, that was not in the cards for him.

And so, he took out his whip, the same Mike gave him, and then looked at the black miasma which was spreading from the orc settlement.
