Chapter 7 - 7. Hunting for EP (1/2)

Deep in forest outside the Hidden Leaf, Hiroshi moved silently among the trees.

"Alright, Nova," Hiroshi muttered, his voice low as he crouched near the hive's entrance.

With a quick hand seal, Hiroshi activated a jutsu that cloaked him in shadows.

This wasn't an ordinary jutsu—bland of elements of darkness and space. As the shadows wrapped around him, his presence seemed to fade into the forest, leaving no sound or trace behind.

He get inside the hive without any trouble, As he get deeper he felt chakra signature getting stronger and stronger,

Now the narrow tunnels become huge chambers, each one crawling with the massive insects.

[Skill shadow cloak is deactivated because of time limit!]

"Guess the sneaky approach is out, bummer, it would have lot more easier with that skill," Hiroshi muttered.

He raised his hand, weaving a series of seals, He extended his palm, a sphere of condensed darkness formed in the air.

The sphere pulsed once before exploding outward, a ripple of dark energy enveloping the ants. As the darkness consumed them, they screeched,

Then with explosion their chakra dissipating into the air.

"Not bad," Hiroshi said, inspecting his handiwork.

"Effective," Nova agreed,

The next wave of ants surged toward him, their massive bodies moving with surprising speed. Hiroshi quickly switched tactics, forming another set of hand seals.

This time, beams of concentrated light shot from his hands, piercing through the incoming ants.

He continued to moved deeper into the hive, he encountered a particularly large ant, its body bristling with spikes of hardened chakra.

"Any suggestions?" Hiroshi asked, dodging the ant's massive mandibles.

'I optimized the pull strength on that gravity element jutsu. Try it out.'

Hiroshi smirked, weaving another set of seals. This time, the air around him grew heavy, and a faint distortion rippled outward. The charging ant suddenly stopped, its legs buckling under an invisible weight.

As he extended his hand, and the crushing force intensified, flattening it into the ground.

"Now that felt satisfying," Hiroshi said, dusting off his hands.

'Don't celebrate yet. The queen's chamber is just ahead,'

At same time, miles away, beneath the stormy skies of the Hidden Cloud, the Raikage stood at the head of a long, polished table. Around him sat the Kages of the Sand, Mist, and Rock villages, their expressions varying between suspicion and determination. Representatives from smaller villages stood nearby, their presence muted but observant.

The Raikage's assistant passed out scrolls, each one containing a summary of intelligence gathered about the Leaf Village. As the leaders read through the documents, a heavy silence settled over the room.

"The Leaf is vulnerable," the Raikage began, his deep voice cutting through the tension. "Their Fourth Hokage is dead, and they've lost control over the Nine-Tails. If we strike now, we can cripple them before they recover."

The Kazekage tapped his fingers against the table. "And what do you propose? An outright invasion? Konoha is still strong, even without Minato. Their clans will rally, and they'll fight to the death."

The Mizukage nodded in agreement. "The Uchiha, Hyuga, and other clans won't go down easily. If we fail, it could cost us more than we gain."

The Tsuchikage, Onoki, leaned forward, his small stature making his intensity all the more striking. "We've fought the Leaf before, and we've learned from those failures. The key is coordination. If we attack from multiple sides, they can't defend themselves effectively."

One of the smaller village representatives spoke up hesitantly. "And what about the Nine-Tails? Even if they've sealed it, it's still a threat."

The Raikage smirked. "According to our intelligence, the Nine-Tails is sealed within new bourn child, it is not a threat."

The room fell silent again as the leaders exchanged glances, each weighing the risks and rewards. Finally, the Raikage slammed his hand on the table.

"We cannot let this opportunity pass," he said firmly. "The Leaf has been the dominant power for too long. If we unite, we can bring them to their knees."

The Kazekage raised an eyebrow. "And how do you propose we divide the spoils?"

Onoki's grin was small but dangerous. "Simple. The resources and territory will be divided based on each village's contribution to the war effort."

The Mizukage nodded slowly. "And the clans? The Byakugan and Sharingan?"

The Raikage's eyes gleamed. "all villages will get one pair of fertile Hyuga and Uchiha.."

The room erupted into a mix of agreements and objections, the leaders hashing out the details of their plan. The smaller villages listened carefully, some already preparing to align themselves with the strongest factions.

"It's settled, then. We'll strike from two sides—force them to spread their defenses too thin. When the Leaf falls, the spoils will be ours."

Minato sat at his desk, as Hokage, Minato had barely slept in days, his mind constantly calculating how to restore balance and protect the village.

A knock at the door interrupted his thoughts. Before he could answer, Kakashi walked in, his usual mask in place, concealing all but his single visible eye. He carried a scroll in one hand, his demeanor unusually serious.

"Hokage-sama," Kakashi said, bowing slightly as he approached the desk. "It's urgent, This just came from our intelligence unit."

Minato took the scroll, unrolling it with care. As he read, his normally calm expression hardened, his blue eyes narrowing. The scroll detailed a secret meeting between the Raikage, Tsuchikage, Mizukage, and Kazekage about 30 minutes ago.

It confirmed their intent to launch a two-front attack on Konoha, taking advantage of the village's perceived weakness.

"They're planning a war!" Minato murmured, his grip on the scroll tightening.

Kakashi nodded. "It seems they view the Nine-Tails attack as an opportunity. They think Konoha is vulnerable."

Minato's jaw tightened, but he forced himself to remain calm. "Kakashi, summon all the clan heads and village elders immediately. Include Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Danzo. We don't have time to waste."
