Lucien immediately got off the carriage, not glancing at Ivy beside him. He slightly glanced at her, then moved his lips coldly and told her, "Have a great night. Don't follow me to bug me around."
Ivy shrugged, observing his indifference. She narrowed her eyes at the coachman, asking him if he had heard some gossip. The coachman shook his head and said, "No, I don't like some drama, ma'am."
Ivy whistled, walking into the castle, sighing at the day that was long.
~~~~~~~~~~
Ivy opened the door to her room, taking a view of the room. Then she bounced off into the bed with a big sigh escaping her.
"Wow, today was intense," she said to herself, feeling her forehead like she had gotten sick.
Her head was hot. The heat radiated through her palm, passing through her system.
The system had appeared, seeing Ivy lying in the bed with a deep frown.
Ivy turned her head after noticing the system present. "What are you doing here, Birdy, huh? Where have you been? I have been looking for you. Didn't you know that?" she said to the system, looking at it with furrowed brows. The system sneered in disgust, seeing her expression.
Someone was just kissing the villain, and here they have time acting like they cared about it.
The system snorted at Ivy. "Oh dear host, tell me what you did while I was away."
"Oh, nothing," Ivy replied bluntly, lying. The system wanted her to get close to the villain. For some reason, it had objections she didn't understand, so it was better not to tell the system anything.
"Liar! You were visiting, having fun with the villain," the system said, flapping its wings angrily at Ivy.
Ivy hissed, covering her face. Why was the little guy overreacting?
"System, were you spying on me? How did you know that I did something with the villain?" Ivy yelled, holding the system. The system struggled out of her arms.
"Host, it is none of your business! Maybe you have forgotten that somehow I'm connected to your mind. While you were lying down here like a slug, I had to peep into your mind," the system explained, suddenly getting angry. "And that you kissed the villain! What is wrong with you?!" The system glared at her, flying over her head, using its feet to step on her.
Ivy stumbled from the system's ramble. Successfully, she freed herself from the system, catching it by the tail and flinging it onto the room.
"Ba, why are you being a maniac? My mission is to make the villain fall in love with me, and I'm sure that kiss might have worked. Shouldn't we be partners here in the first place?"
Ivy expressed, spreading her hands, not able to understand the little guy. Why was it overreacting like this?
The system, not knowing what Ivy was thinking, hissed in his own thoughts.
Things should have been the other way around, not his host pining the villain over the wall and kissing him.
"Host, you are so desperate for the villain. I'm going to leave you here and go my own way. Have fun, host." The system parted its butt with a final huff and disappeared.
Ivy rolled her eyes when she saw that the system had left.
Reluctantly, she covered herself with her blanket, wanting to go to sleep.
Just only to forget about the emotions of today and not think about the villain.
She closed her eyes for the last time, wanting to go to sleep.
It wasn't long after she closed her eyes, wanting to go to sleep.
The room was dark, footsteps sounded, and Ivy seemed to have gone to sleep.
A figure walked beside her bed. Ivy was fast asleep and did not feel anything. The dark figure stood before Ivy.
The figure had a mask on, covering its own face, and only their eyes could be seen.
The masked figure went for Ivy, their hands went on her neck, pressing with some force.
Ivy, from her sleep, felt like she was losing the use of her neck and couldn't breathe.
Ivy tried to hold her neck, but she held the hands of the masked person instead. She tried to breathe but couldn't. Slowly, she struggled, holding the person's hand that was holding her neck.
Her legs struggled along with her.
Ivy hit the face of the masked person. It was when she felt like she was going to die that she suddenly found a way and pressed on their face, giving them a single hit.
The masked man fell off, rolling onto the ground.
And then Ivy got up, feeling her neck again. She touched her neck, thanking God that she wasn't actually dead. If not, what was all her hard work for?
Ivy jumped off the bed, finding the masked man on the ground.
Nothing came to her mind but for her to run, and she had to run out of that room this instant.
So Ivy ran for her door, but before she could reach there, the masked man gave her a hit, making her stumble on the floor, crashing her body hard on it.
Ivy frowned with slight irritation, flexing her body to get up and escape the masked man.
Ivy crawled on the clean floor, but the man held her leg, dragging it back. She kicked the masked man in the hand, but the man's grip did not let go.
She had no time to react. The masked man came on top of her, placing his hand on her neck, and he started strangling her once more.
Ivy struggled, trying to breathe, but the masked man was choking her.
Was this her end? Was she going to die?
What was the point of her seducing the villain if she was going to die in the end?
Ivy's thoughts rambled all together. She was going to die, with no one to save her.
The system was nowhere to come.
"Windus cuttle," she summoned her magic, and fierce wind-like blades sent the masked man out of the window. Ivy breathed a sigh of relief, getting up quickly, opening her door, and going to find Lucien for help. After she had left, another masked man appeared from the dark, following her trail.
