Amahle's eyes were fixed on the door as the scratching sound continued. She felt a sense of unease creeping over her, and her mind was racing with possibilities. Who could be on the other side of the door? And what did they want?
Suddenly, the scratching stopped. Amahle held her breath, waiting to see what would happen next. And then, she heard a faint whisper. "Amahle...".
Amahle's heart skipped a beat. The voice was low and raspy, and it sent shivers down her spine. She knew that voice. It was Lungelo's.
"Lungelo, what do you want?" Amahle called out, trying to keep her voice steady.
There was no response. The whisper seemed to hang in the air, and then it was gone. Amahle was left standing there, wondering what Lungelo had wanted, and why he had whispered her name like that...
