With the portals destroyed, the battlefield shifted focus entirely to Noxic. Ryu and RG Ryu were locked in an intense battle against Noxic. Suddenly, Noxic opened a portal behind RG Ryu and delivered a brutal kick, sending him sprawling. He followed up by opening another portal behind Ryu, but Ryu reacted quickly, leaping into the air and hurling an ice spike into the portal, shattering it.
"Ohoho! Spikes of the Sun," Noxic sneered mockingly, his voice echoing across the battlefield.
Without warning, Noxic opened a portal behind Jin and the others. Monsters poured out, grabbing them in their massive claws. Noxic teleported to Princess Ling Hua, striking her unconscious before anyone could react.
"Princess!" the group shouted in unison, their voices filled with despair.
Noxic wasted no time, placing his hand on the Princess and absorbing her electricity and poison powers. A wicked grin spread across his face as arcs of electricity danced along his fingertips.
Tony, fueled by rage, unleashed the strength of 125 elephants, kicking a monster away with earth-shaking force. He tore through the monsters, his blade flashing in a whirlwind of destruction. But before he could reach Noxic teleported behind him, yanking the Chain Blade from his hands.
"No!" Tony shouted, lunging forward, but it was too late.
With a malicious laugh, Noxic shattered the Chain Blade using the combined powers of the Princess and the late Prince. The blade's energy flowed into him, and he extended his arm, transforming it into a serpentine chain. With a flick of his wrist, he snatched Ryu's Sevpon.
"Kai, stop him!" Ryu yelled, but Noxic was relentless.
Kai leaped forward, creating a massive hammer to strike at Noxic. But the chain coiled around him, immobilizing him. With a sickening crunch, Noxic shattered the Shield of the Dragon hidden within Kai, absorbing its powers. He kicked Kai aside as if he were a mere nuisance.
"Too easy," Noxic taunted, unfurling fiery wings crafted from Kai's powers. "Now, let's finish this."
He raised his hand, creating cages from Kai's stolen energy, locking each of the heroes inside.
Tony roared in defiance, slamming his fists against the cage walls. The moment his fists connected, the cage turned to stone. With a mighty punch, he shattered it completely, freeing himself.
"Tony's out!" Jin exclaimed from within his own cage.
Noxic unleashed his monster army toward Tony, but the hero was unstoppable. Dodging and weaving, he crushed every cage, freeing his friends one by one.
Kai, bruised and battered, watched Tony's strength in awe. A thought sparked in his mind. "If Tony can tap into his power without a Sevpon... maybe I can too."
Kai knelt on the ground, crossing his legs and closing his eyes. His breathing steadied, and the chaos around him faded into the background.
"What is he doing?!" Jin shouted, bewildered.
"I think he's meditating," Ryu observed, raising an eyebrow.
"Wake him up!" RG Ryu snapped. "This is no time for meditation!"
Ryu shrugged. "Do it yourself."
Minutes passed, and Kai's eyes suddenly shot open. A powerful surge of energy radiated from him as glowing wings emerged from his back.
"How...?" RG Ryu stammered. "Your Sevpon is broken, and Noxic has its power!"
"I don't know," Kai replied, rising to his feet. "I just... felt something inside me. And when I opened my eyes, the wings were there."
"Should we meditate too?" G Tony asked, glancing at the others.
RG Ryu shook his head. "We don't have time for that."
"Alright, your loss," G Tony muttered.
Kai zipped around Noxic, using his speed to dodge and distract him. He was like a blur, slamming into Noxic with relentless force. But Noxic was fast too, teleporting out of Kai's reach each time. As Noxic hovered above him, Kai was about to strike again when Tony, with a sudden surge of strength, soared upwards and turned his wings to stone, blocking Noxic's escape.
With Noxic momentarily trapped, Kai seized the opportunity, flying at him with astonishing speed, landing blow after blow. But Noxic, with a flash of his dark power, teleported once more.
Noxic's eyes glowed with fury. With a flick of his hand, he created a powerful cage of energy around Kai, imprisoning him in midair.
Then, with a sneer, Noxic summoned a new set of wings for himself, soaring higher to gain distance. But as he looked around, something caught his attention—something was different. A gust of wind cut through the air, and Noxic's wings were severed by a fan-like blade. Noxic gritted his teeth and quickly recreated his wings before falling too close to the ground.
He scanned the area for the source of the attack, his gaze narrowing when he saw a figure cloaked in shadow and wearing a mask, holding a Sevpon.
The figure's presence felt familiar to Ryu, Kai, Tony, and Jin, and they all turned to stare, wide-eyed.
"What...?" Noxic gasped, his voice cracking. "How can this be? I killed you myself!"
The masked figure removed his mask, revealing his identity.
"Wei." Ryu, Kai, Tony, and Jin whispered in disbelief, unable to comprehend the sight before them.
"Prince?" G Tony and RG Ryu spoke simultaneously, their voices full of shock.
Ryu furrowed his brows, trying to understand what was happening. "Wait, did you say Prince?"
Jin, equally puzzled, asked, "Is he really a prince?"
Noxic's expression turned to panic. He sped toward Wei, determined to strike. But Wei, now unrestrained, raised his hand and formed a shimmering forcefield around himself.
As Noxic descended toward Wei, Tony, who had been waiting for the right moment, lunged from above and landed a powerful punch to Noxic's head. Staggered, Noxic barely had time to recover before Jin, with deadly precision, drew his Knife and shattered Noxic's stone-like face. The absorbed powers flowed back to their rightful owners.
The energy from the broken Sevpon surged into Jin's Knife, and the powers of Prince Wei returned to Wei himself. He felt the immense power flooding through him.
At that moment, Princess Ling Hua stirred, her eyes fluttering open.
"Princess!" RG Ryu and the others rushed to her side, but Wei remained focused, his newfound powers still settling inside him.
The Princess, weakened, smiled softly at RG Ryu. "My time has come," she said, her voice barely a whisper.
"No, Princess, don't say that," RG Ryu cried, his voice cracking with emotion.
"You are the new Prince of the Kingdom," the Princess continued, her voice fragile. "After you, it will be your brother. Then, your descendants."
With her final breath, she transferred her powers to RG Ryu, her energy flowing from her body to his. "I am proud of you..." she whispered before her body went still.
"Nooo!" The cries of the group filled the air as they all grieved her loss.
Meanwhile, Wei stood still, absorbing his newfound powers, his body glowing with the energy that now belonged to him.
"Hey, Wei! Up here! Can you open this cage?" Kai's voice echoed from within his energy prison, breaking through Wei's focus.
Wei broke the cage, his aura flaring as he focused on his new powers.
Kai, still adjusting to his own, looked at Wei curiously. "I have a question. How did we get that power?"
Wei took a deep breath, his eyes calm as he began explaining. "When The Black Fire, the Legendary Weapon, broke, it unleashed our inner powers. That's why I was able to take you out of the cave when its entrance was being blocked. If that Sword had not been destroyed, then we wouldn't have been able to unleash our power that easily. Every human has their inner power, but it's too hard to unleash them. Because of that blast from Black Fire, we got our powers without any hurdle."
Kai listened intently, nodding slowly, understanding more about his own newfound strength.
After a month, Wei had fully gained control of Prince Wei's powers, his confidence evident in his every move. The time had come for them to say goodbye. With a solemn look, Wei opened a portal to his world, the swirling energy reflecting the uncertainty of the journey ahead.
"Hey Ryu, I don't know how I say thanks to you, but I have something for you. Hope you don't get disappointed." RG Ryu said, holding out his sword to Ryu, a serious expression on his face.
Ryu smiled softly, shaking his head. "You don't have to say thanks to us, but I have to. Thank you for your help. Without you, we wouldn't have been able to get our friend back. Keep your sword. You need it more than me, Prince."
Prince Ryu's gaze hardened slightly. "If you won't take it, then we are not family."
Ryu hesitated for a moment, then accepted the sword, his fingers wrapping around the hilt. "Okay, I'll take that."
Prince Ryu gave a small nod of approval. "Also, make it drink your blood. This is how a warrior takes his sword in our dimension. It has tested my blood too many years ago, now it's you. So."
Ryu met his gaze and then winced as he made a cut on his hand, his blood dripping onto the sword's blade. He held it steady, watching as the sword seemed to absorb his essence.
They exchanged one last look, emotions silently passing between them before they said their goodbyes. The group stepped into the portal, ready to leave this world behind. As the light from the portal enveloped them, Wei closed it with a final flick of his wrist.
Kai, still lingering for a moment, noticed something glimmering at the edge of his vision. He knelt down and picked up a green-colored gem, feeling a strange pull to it. Holding it in his palm, he looked up at the others, his expression unreadable as he slipped it into his pocket.
