Chapter 36 - Chapter 36 {She Is A Sweet Tooth Lover}

Elena frowned and she stood up.

"Why would you invite them when I am around?" Elena asked sweetly trying to act all innocent but the father and son seemed to be more excited about Sierra coming over than talking to Elena.

Patriarch Magnus's expression turned neutral, and he glanced at Elena before responding.

"Arjuna invited Sierra, not me. Besides, it's just a friendly dinner, Elena. Don't be so uptight." He turned his attention back to Arjuna, who was practically bouncing with excitement, and smiled.

"Let's go set the table, shall we?"

Sierra couldn't believe that Patriarch Magnus would use this kind of trick but she did have a weakness for kids. Apollo and Nevaeh both didn't want to go so she didn't force it. It was only Aurora and herself who went over. When the door opened she saw a beautiful woman with pink hair and blue eyes she sneered at Sierra with disgust but Sierra was cold and indifferent.

Sierra's eyes met the woman's, and she could sense the hostility emanating from her. She raised an eyebrow, her expression unchanging, and walked past the woman into the house.

"Thank you for having us," she said, her voice neutral, as she followed Patriarch Magnus into the dining room. Her eyes scanned the room, taking in the elegant decorations, before coming to rest on Arjuna, who was beaming with excitement. She smiled faintly, her expression softening slightly, and nodded at him in greeting.

"Hello, Arjuna. Thank you for inviting us."

"Handsome Angel! Up up!" Aurora shouted with excitement.

Patriarch Magnus chuckled and scooped up Aurora, spinning her around in a circle as she giggled with delight.

"Ah, my little friend is happy to see me, I see," he said, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he smiled. He set Aurora down and turned to Sierra, his expression serious for a moment.

"Thank you for coming, Sierra. I'm glad you could make it." He gestured to the table, where the food was already laid out.

"Please, let's eat."

"That trick won't work again," Sierra muttered that only both of them could hear.

Patriarch Magnus's eyes locked onto Sierra's, a hint of amusement dancing in their depths. He leaned in, his voice low and smooth.

"We'll see about that, Sierra. You're not as immune to me as you think you are." He straightened up, his expression neutral once more, and took his seat at the head of the table.

"Shall we begin?"

Sierra's eyes narrowed slightly, but she didn't rise to the bait. Instead, she took a seat across from Patriarch Magnus, her movements economical and precise. She glanced at Aurora, who was chattering excitedly to Arjuna, and smiled faintly.

"So, what's the occasion for this dinner?" she asked, her voice polite but detached.

Sierra's eyes met Patriarch Magnus's, a challenge sparking in their depths.

"Arjuna, why did you really invite me?"

"Because Fairy Auntie is so sweet like candy, and I really like auntie!" Arjuna said with a sweet smile. Sierra heart warned up and she smiled gently she didn't know why but she felt a strong connection toward Arjuna the way she has connection with her three triplets it's a mother bond.

Sierra's expression softened, and she reached out to ruffle Arjuna's hair, her touch gentle.

"Thank you, Arjuna. You're very sweet too," she said, her voice warm and affectionate. For a moment, her guard dropped, and she was just a mother, responding to the affection of a child. She glanced up at Patriarch Magnus, her eyes narrowing slightly, as if daring him to comment on the moment of vulnerability.

"Auntie Fairy you are so beautiful," Arjuna said as he held on Sierra hand on his soft cheeks. Aurora grinned happily knowing her mother was the most beautiful woman in the world.

"Yeah my mama is so beautiful I see her every day!" Aurora said. Arjuna looked at Aurora both of them mirrored each other but Aurora took one of the candies that allowed her to change her hair color and today it was bright pink.

Sierra's cheeks flushed slightly at the compliment, and she smiled, her eyes crinkling at the corners. She gently stroked Arjuna's cheek, her touch soothing.

"Thank you, Arjuna. You're very sweet to say that," she said, her voice gentle. She glanced at Aurora, her eyes lighting up with amusement at the bright pink hair.

"Aurora, your hair looks lovely today," she said, her voice warm. She smiled at the two children, feeling a sense of contentment wash over her. For a moment, she forgot about the complexities of her life and just enjoyed the simple pleasure of being with the children.

Elena slammed her palm.

"Hey you, don't forget Arjuna is my son not yours," Elena snapped she can't believe it she is at the table and here everyone else talking like she doesn't exist if an outsider were to talk in they would think Patriarch Magnus, and Sierra were parents of two and she was just an outsider.

The room fell silent, and all eyes turned to Elena. Sierra's expression turned cold, her eyes flashing with warning.

"I wasn't forgetting, Elena," she said, her voice icy.

"I was simply showing affection to a child who was being kind to me. I didn't mean to overstep any boundaries." She glanced at Arjuna, her eyes softening slightly, before turning back to Elena.

"But I must say, I find it interesting that you feel the need to remind me of my place. Are you feeling insecure, Elena?"

Elena's face turned red with rage, her eyes blazing with fury.

"How dare you!" she spat, her voice venomous.

"You're just a lowly woman, a nobody. You don't have the right to speak to me like that." She slammed her fist on the table, making the silverware jump.

"I am Princess Queens, and I will not be disrespected by someone like you." Patriarch Magnus's eyes narrowed, his expression stern.

"Elena, that's enough," he said, his voice firm.

"Sierra is our guest, and she will be treated with respect." He turned to Sierra, his eyes apologetic.

"I'm sorry about this, Sierra. Please, let's just enjoy dinner." But Sierra just smiled sweetly, her eyes glinting with amusement.

"Oh, don't apologize, Patriarch Magnus. I'm enjoying the show."

Elena's face turned beet red with rage, her eyes bulging with indignation.

"How dare you!" she spluttered, her voice trembling with fury.

"You little brat, how dare you speak to me like that!" She took a step forward, her hands clenched into fists, but Patriarch Magnus quickly intervened, his voice calm but firm.

"Elena, stop. This is not the time or the place for this." He turned to Aurora, a gentle smile on his face.

"Aurora, sweetie, it's okay. I understand that you're just trying to protect your mom." He glanced at Sierra, his eyes apologetic. "I think we've had enough dinner for tonight, don't you?" Sierra nodded, her eyes still flashing with warning, and quickly gathered her things.

"Yes, I think it's time for us to go. Thank you for dinner, Patriarch Magnus." She stood up, her movements swift and decisive, and Aurora quickly followed suit, still glaring at Elena.

"Elena if you ever call my daughter a brat again I won't care if you are a royal bloodline," Sierra said her voice was firm but it felt like the goddess of death had appeared in this world.

Elena's eyes widened, her face paling as she took a step back, her eyes fixed on Sierra.

"I-I didn't mean to," she stuttered, her voice trembling. Patriarch Magnus's expression turned stern, his eyes warning Elena to be quiet. The air seemed to vibrate with tension as Sierra's gaze bore into Elena, her presence radiating an aura of quiet power.*

Patriarch Magnus walked over and gently flicked his past wife this woman is so easy to angrier even in there past life.

"Here is some sweets," Patriarch Magnus said and Sierra was pushed out dazed with what just happened but she didn't bother tomorrow she is busy.
