"You think I will fall for your tricks yesterday you asked your son to invite us for dinner, and now this? If someone saw this people would think you are trying to chase me," Sierra said and Patriarch Magnus chuckled she is different from the past but has the same spirit aura around her.
Patriarch Magnus's eyes sparkled with amusement, and he took a step closer to Sierra, his voice taking on a low, teasing tone.
"Maybe I am," he said, his eyes locked on hers.
"Maybe I'm trying to get your attention, Sierra. You seem like a woman who can handle a little challenge, and I'm not one to back down from a fight." He paused, his gaze never leaving hers.
"Besides, I think you're not as immune to me as you think you are." Sierra's eyes flashed with annoyance, but Patriarch Magnus just smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement.
Sierra's face turned red with irritation, and she took a step back, her eyes narrowing.
"I don't know what kind of game you're playing, Patriarch Magnus, but I'm not interested," she said, her voice firm. Patriarch Magnus chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
"Oh, I think you are," he said, his voice low and husky. "I think you're just not willing to admit it yet." He took another step closer, his eyes locked on hers.
"But I'm willing to wait. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get to know you, Sierra." Sierra's eyes flashed with anger, and she turned to leave, but Patriarch Magnus's next words stopped her.
"Besides, I think our children would get along great," he said, his voice innocent, but his eyes sparkling with mischief.
"Magnus! You…you are using your son as trick again aren't you shameless!" Sierra asked her deep weakness in life is her kids and now Arjuna the son of this asshole are the gods and goddesses just want to punish her!?
"Shameless Amore how can that be all I ask is for a run." Sierra coughed out this guy is so shameless he has a fiancé and here he is flirting with her!
Patriarch Magnus's eyes sparkled with amusement, and he held up his hands in mock defense.
"Ah, Sierra, I'm not using my son as a trick, I promise," he said, his voice dripping with sincerity.
"I just think that our children would get along great, that's all. And who knows, maybe we could even...coordinate our schedules, so they can play together sometime." He smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
"But I assure you, my intentions are pure...mostly." He chuckled, his eyes glinting with mischief.
"And as for my fiancée...well, let's just say that's a complicated situation. One that I'm still trying to figure out myself." He took a step closer to Sierra, his voice taking on a low, husky tone.
"But I have to say, I'm finding myself more and more drawn to a certain someone else. Someone who is beautiful, intelligent, and has a certain...spark in her eyes." He smiled, his eyes locked on Sierra's.
"Someone who is making it very hard for me to focus on my run."
"Thank god it's not me," Sierra said as she took a deep breath she was scared for a moment but seems she can finally get this dude out of the way just fine that woman! "So who is this woman I will help you two get together," Sierra said with a sweet and gentle smile. Patriarch Magnus found this side of hers so cute and adorable he wanted to snap a photo and stare it for a life time.
Patriarch Magnus's eyes widened in surprise, and he chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
"Ah, no, Sierra, it's not like that," he said, his voice low and husky.
"The woman I'm thinking of...is you." His eyes locked on hers, his gaze intense and piercing. Sierra's smile faltered, and she took a step back, her eyes wide with surprise.
"No way you…" Sierra said as she cursed this she should seen coming!
"So how about you help me get together with you?" Patriarch Magnus asked in amused it he held in his laughter. Conner the driver was standing there watching all of this but Butler Joe was shocked this was the patriarch who is cold, reckless, cruel, ruthless, cold blooded, and doesn't show kindness to his own siblings other than his son Arjuna! But he is…?
"Patriarch Magnus I won't do it!" Sierra stammered.
"But you said you will help."
Patriarch Magnus's eyes sparkled with amusement, and he took a step closer to Sierra, his voice low and husky.
"Ah, but I'm not asking for your help, I'm asking for...your heart," he said, his eyes locked on hers. Sierra's face turned bright red, and she looked like she was about to flee. Butler Joe's eyes widened in shock, and he couldn't believe what he was seeing. The patriarch, who was notorious for his cold and ruthless behavior, was actually being romantic and flirtatious. Conner, the driver, was trying to stifle a grin, but it was clear that he was enjoying the show. Patriarch Magnus's eyes never left Sierra's face, and he took another step closer, his voice low and seductive.
"Come on, Sierra, just one date. If you don't have fun, I promise I'll leave you alone."
"You tricked me! You made a trap! Magnus!"
Patriarch Magnus's eyes sparkled with amusement, and he chuckled, his voice low and husky.
"Ah, Sierra, you're so quick to assume the worst about me," he said, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
"I assure you, I'm just trying to get to know you better. No tricks, no traps. Just a simple date." He held up his hands in mock defense, his eyes never leaving Sierra's face.
"But if you're not interested, I understand. I'll leave you alone...for now." He smiled, his eyes glinting with mischief, and took a step back, his eyes never leaving Sierra's face. Butler Joe's eyes widened in surprise, and he couldn't believe what he was seeing. The patriarch, who was notorious for his ruthless behavior, was actually being... charming.
"Disgusting I rather die than date you! Wait is that bet still on? The winner buys the other breakfast?" Sierra asked she was a gluttony.
Patriarch Magnus's eyes sparkled with amusement, and he chuckled, his voice low and husky.
"Ah, Sierra, you're so quick to insult me, but you're still willing to eat my food," he said, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
"Yes, the bet is still on. If you win, I'll buy you breakfast. But if I win...you have to have dinner with me." He smiled, his eyes glinting with mischief.
"And I'm not just talking about any dinner, I'm talking about a fancy dinner at the most expensive restaurant in the city." He leaned in, his voice low and husky.
"So, are you sure you're ready to take on the challenge?"
"Magnus! If I win stay away from me for a week!"
Patriarch Magnus's eyes sparkled with amusement, and he chuckled, his voice low and husky.
"Ah, Sierra, you drive a hard bargain," he said, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
"But I accept your terms. If you win, I'll stay away from you for a week. No phone calls, no visits, no messages. I'll leave you completely alone." He smiled, his eyes glinting with mischief.
"But if I win...you have to have dinner with me, and you have to wear a dress of my choice." He leaned in, his voice low and husky.
"And I have a feeling that I'm going to win."
"No I get to wear what I want take it or leave it," Sierra said.
Patriarch Magnus's eyes sparkled with amusement, and he chuckled, his voice low and husky.
"Ah, Sierra, you're a tough negotiator," he said, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
"But I like that about you. Alright, deal. You can wear whatever you want to dinner. I'll take it." He smiled, his eyes glinting with mischief.
"But don't think that you're going to get out of this that easily. I'm still going to win, and you're still going to have to have dinner with me." He leaned in, his voice low and husky.
"And I'm going to make sure that it's a night you'll never forget."
