Synopsis
Felicia Greys, an ordinary young woman living in a world where vampires rule in the shadows, finds her life upended when her family is plunged into debt. Desperate and with no other options, her parents make a heart-wrenching decision: they sell Felicia to Caden Swift, the enigmatic and powerful vampire prince, to pay off their debts. Caden Swift is no ordinary vampire. Known for his cold, calculating nature and ruthless pursuit of power, he is a prince who has long been trapped by the expectations of his royal bloodline. He has little interest in human emotions, seeing them as weaknesses—until he meets Felicia. Forced to live in his luxurious, yet oppressive, castle, Felicia is treated as a commodity rather than a person. But as she navigates this new, dangerous life, she begins to see that Caden is not just the feared vampire prince the world believes him to be. Finding out her true purpose with him and her old blood. While Caden initially treats Felicia with disdain, he soon finds himself intrigued by her resilience and defiance. She becomes more than just a possession to him—sparking something long buried within his dark heart. As their relationship evolves, the two must confront their growing feelings for each other while facing external threats from rival vampire factions who seek to use Felicia as leverage against Caden's throne. Caught between duty, desire, and the looming danger surrounding them, Felicia must decide whether to stay loyal to the prince who now owns her or to escape the dangerous world of vampires altogether. Sold to the Vampire Prince is a gripping tale of forbidden love, power struggles, and the quest for freedom in a world ruled by darkness.

Chapter 1 - Taken by force

"Please, Caden, I promise to pay you as soon as I get the money. Please don't hurt us." William begged, his wife crying in the corner, hugging her daughter tightly as if she would lose her.

Caden looked at the small figure in the woman's arm and smirked, an evil intention crawling in his mind. "How about this, William," he started, walking towards their shrieking figures as he towered over them.

"How about I take your precious daughter as payment for what you owe me, and maybe I will leave you alone, it's like trade here, am I right? It's a win-win for both of us." He squatted, his hands on Felicia's face, caressing her cheeks while looking at her neck.

She slapped his hand from her face and muttered, "Don't touch me!" he tone was firm and defiant. Caden laughed, his head tilting forward, his dark, long hair almost covering his face.

"You are very interesting, little human, I love that," he murmured, raising his head to meet her spiteful gaze, his eyes darkening with something unreadable. he stood up, his features darkening as his gaze landed on Felicia's father.

"Now you have to make a serious decision, sir. It's either you pay me back or you say goodbye to your precious daughter, choose wisely," he laid out.

" N-no, please...s-shes our only daughter, our only child, please don't do this to us." Anne stammered, hugging Felicia's sobbing figure tightly.

Caden frowned, standing up straight and turning to one of his guards, "Get her." He commanded, his eyes dark and his tone cold, and both Williams' and Anne's eyes widened.

"Please Caden, I swear, if I can't get the money, you can kill me, but... don't take my daughter," William begged, his voice cracking, his hands together and his knees on the ground, tears streaming from his eyes as he saw one of Cadens men take Felicia.

"no, father. He's not taking anyone, I won't let it happen." Felicia barked, standing on her feet.

One of Caden's men was yanking Felicia by the arm, but she was deviant, pulling her arm out from the guard's grip, or so she was, but his grip was unrelenting.

"Let me go!" she hissed, wriggling endlessly, trying to escape from the guard's grip, but it was a real hassle. She struggled so much, digging her nails into the flesh of the guard.

The guard hissed in pain, his grip loosening a bit, which gave her the go-ahead to yank her arm away and run to her father, hugging him as he lay on the floor, crying continuously.

"Father, stop crying, I'm not going go anywhere, okay, I'll stay with you till you grow old, even if I get married, we'll be together," Felicia muttered, hugging her father tightly and sobbing.

Caden's eyes darkened, hearing her talking about marriage. He didn't like the fact that the human he was interested in was talking about marrying someone else.

"Get her," Caden instructed, his voice low and deep, sending chills down the family's spine.

"Please, sir, don't take her away, please-"

"I'm not going anywhere with you." Felicia snapped, her eyes red from anger, fear, pain, and sadness, but Caden wasn't having it.

The same guard who held onto Felicia pulled her up again, in a bear hug, constricting her hand.

"We could have done this the easy way, but you left me no choice. You could have just given me my money, but no, you had to make things difficult," Caden muttered, maintaining the same tone as before.

"Let's get going," he muttered one last time before walking out of the small house.

"Caden, or whoever you are. Leave me alone, I'm not going anywhere with you!" Felicia almost yelled, trying to control her anger. Struggling so hard to free herself from the tight grip, but nothing seemed to work.

Her heart pounded hard in her rib cage, hearing the cry of her parents and not being able to do anything about it was heartbreaking.

Tears formed in her eyes as she continued struggling to free herself, but the guard wasn't letting up. "Let go of me, you monster!!" she screamed in anger and agony as she fought with all her might to escape from him.

Meanwhile, Caden wasn't bothered at all by the commotion; he was only focused on one thing: his father, his inheritance, and most importantly, his mate. Even though he doesn't feel anything for anyone at the moment, there was no time to think, do, for his legacy.

Felicia struggled endlessly, making the guard's hands weaken, just enough for her to get away from him.

as soon as she did, she dashed for the road, hoping to run anywhere her feet to take her but that hope crashed when she saw Caden standing in front of her with an unreadable expression, she gasped, unable to quickly regain her composure, she found herself in his arms.

His one hand wrapped the curve of her waist while the other held the back of her knees, her breath held in as she was carried by the person she hated.

her mind had finally recovered fully, but it was too late to do anything, they were in the carriage, "ah-" my skin met the soft interior of the carriage.

"And don't you dare escape!" I warned, but her deviance got the best of her.

"And what makes you think I would listen to you?" she snapped, shifting farther away from him.

"You do not want to disobey me," I muttered, letting my words hang thick in the air. She didn't say anything, only glared.

"You don't own me," she stated, her mind thinking of different ways to escape, but every one seemed impossible, reminiscing about the stories her mother told her when she was little about supernatural beings, having inhuman strength and a lot more things I can't remember.

She was scared, not for herself but for her parents. What would she do if she didn't stay with them for long? How would they manage?

her mind jumped from one worry to another as she felt the carriage move.

'Oh no, no, no, I can't stay here and watch this happen.'

The worst thing right now was; there was not a second door, only one door for coming in and going out.

My heart was pounding hard in my ribcage, tears brimming on either side of her eyes, her breathing coming in loud pants as fear crept into her. "This man was going to take me away from my parents." She thought, her body stiff on its own. Her mind was swirling with thoughts of escaping.

As the carriage picked up speed, a wormhole opened in the far front.

A gasp left Felicia's mouth as she saw it, her heart pounding even faster as panic surged through her. "Sir, let me go. I don't want to go with you. I can't leave my parents alone there." Her voice trembled with fear.

Caden didn't react to her constant pleas as they entered the rift, going to his world, Nosgoth, his home, where he ruled like he was the king.

Felicia fainted, the fear too much on her, her vision blurring and darkness clouding her head.
