"you're talking nonsense. Sooner or later I'll go back to my parents." I shoved him aside, walking out of the room to look for the maid that took care of me.
Walking through the long and quiet hallway and down the stairs to an empty living room, well not empty. Only a tall slightly muscular man lying on the couch. He looked less approachable and I didn't even want to go near him.
I walked past the couch he was lying on, not paying any attention to any of my surroundings with my plan in mind.
"Ay, ay?" The man called, sitting up on the couch. I paused in my tracks, not looking at him, "who are you?" He asked, his voice deep and accented, I couldn't tell.
"I-" paused, eyes scanning the interior of the living room. "I entered the wrong house." I muttered, eyes still scanning the entire room for the kitchen.
"Well, if you're in the wrong house then the front door is that way." He muttered, pointing at the front door with a frown.
I ignored him after I saw a door in the far left, walking towards it hoping it will be the kitchen. "Maybe I can get help from her," I thought as I entered the room.
Sighing in relief as I saw kitchen items in the room, but no one was in the room, which made me frown.
I turned on my heels, bumping into someone's chest.
"I thought I told you to leave," he said, his voice low and scary, but I didn't let him intimidate me.
"It's none of your business, now move." I muttered, shoving him away from me, but he didn't budge.
"Who do you think you are?" He growled, coming closer.
I scoffed, also walking forward and standing an inch away from him, "a human." I countered, hands on my hips and a deviant expression to cover up my fear.
He looked stunned for a moment before regaining his composure, "a human?" He repeated, "what are you doing here, human? Are you aware of our Kingdom or you just wanna have fun?" He smirked, eyeing my neck.
"What is it with all the men I've seen looking at my skin?" I said in my mind.
"I'm not here to have fun, I was dragged here against my own will ans now I don't know how to leave." I complained to the man in front of me.
He raised his hand and placed it on my right shoulder, I cringed but didn't push him away. "I can help you escape if you do me a favor." He wiggles his brows.
I sighed, relieved that I can finally leave this cage and go back home, my lips curved into a big smile, but I didn't let my guard down. "What's the favor?" I asked, removing his hand from my shoulder and crossing my arms.
He sighed, "the thing is, I've been looking for a human for a long time, I haven't had blood in like a decade and I believe it's starting to affect me..." He started, I frowned, confused by the sentence 'i haven't had blood in like a decade' what does he mean by that?
"So I want you to be my human," he crossed his arms behind his back, "I promise to do as you say if you agree." He finished, smiling at me with his white teeth.
"So if you want me as you human, what are y-"
"Philip!" A sharp voice cut me off, the man in front of me frowned, quickly changing his expression, turned around with a big smile.
"Caden, buddy," he slurred, walking up to him and slapping him in the back, "saw this pretty damsel roaming in the living room so I decided to strike a conversation." He muttered, "she's human though." He whispered in Caden's ears.
Caden, with a face void of any emotions, strodded towards me, yanking my arm and pulling me with him.
"Let me go," I hissed, his grip unrelenting as we climbed the stairs and to his room. He finally let me go, shutting the door with a force that could have broken it.
"What were you doing with him?" He started, pacing angrily in the room.
"Nothing, I was looking for the woman that cleaned me up fhis morning." I defended, rubbing my arms that stinger from his grip.
"By the way, he said you weren't humans.." I started, my voice trembling slightly as I met his gaze, "then what are you?" I asked, a hint of curiosity in my tone.
By the way Caden reacted when I was with him, it looked like he didn't want Philip around. He sounded angry when he saw me with him.
"Do you want to know?" He asked, his voice dropped a few octave, his eyes dark and unreadable. I nodded, his figure stalking towards me until our faces were only an inch apart.
"I don't think you will be able to bear it," he muttered, his hand tracing my jaw and resting on my chin.
It sent shivers down my spine and goosebumps over my skin, his touch was warm but I couldn't fall for him, not when my parents are alone at home.
"I can handle anything," my deviance got the best of me. He smirked, his gaze dropping down to my neck ans his eyes darkened the more.
Without further words, he buried his face on my neck, his teeth grazing the skin on my neck, only it was sharper than any thing I've felt.
I whimpered, my hands flying to his chest to push him away when it sank into my skin, but he didn't budge. It was like he was starved.
Like it wouldn't get any worse, my back his the soft mattress, Caden on top of me and his teeth still buried in my neck.
I felt my blood draining from my body as my vision blurred, I never thought I'd be in a world full of vampire, blood sucking creature. It's terrifying.
After what seemed like minutes, he pulled out, a glance at his sharp fangs with my blood on it before I blacked out.
