Chapter 1 - slave

"please Caden, I promise to pay you as soon as I get the money, please don't hurt us." William begged, his wife crying in the corner, hugging her daughter tightly as if she would lose her.

Caden looked at the small figure in the woman's arm and smirked, an evil intention crawling in his mind. "How about this, William," he started, walking towards their shrieking figures as he towered over them.

"How about I take your precious daughter as payment of what you owe me and maybe I can give you a little more money so it won't look like I love cheap things." He squatted, his hands on Felicia's face, caressing her cheeks while looking at her neck.

Caden is not a person to play with humans but this time, William borrowed from one of his men, which meant he borrowed from him and he doesn't give free things.

" N-no, please...s-shes our only daughter, our only child, please don't do this to us." Anne stammered, hugging Felicia's sobbing figure tightly.

Caden frowned, standing up straight and turning to one of his guards, "get her." He commanded, his eyes dark and his tone cold, and both Williams' and Anne's eyes widened.

"Please Caden, I swear, if I can't get the money, you can kill me, but... don't take my daughter." William begged, his voice cracking, his hands together and his knees on the ground, tears streaming from his eyes as he saw one of cadens men take Felicia.

" Mom! Dad!" Felicia sobbed, her arms outstretched as she fought with the guard to go back to her parents. "Let go of me!" She muttered, biting the guards arm and running back to her mother, but of course, Caden caught her.

"Where do you think you're going, princess?" Caden said monotonously, pulling her back, into his embrace while she struggled to break free.

"Let go of me you monster!" She spat, trying to push his hands away so she could escape from his hold. His grip tightened, making her squirm but never giving up.

Caden pulled out is other hand, his guard dropping a bag on it. Caden smirked, throwing the bag in front of William, "this will last you a lifetime," Caden muttered, turning to Felicia with a small smirk playing on his lips.

"If you want more, you can ask, anytime. As long as you don't to take her away."Caden frowned, turning back to her parents.

" Caden please, don't do this to us. Felicia is my world, she's... she's my life. I can't live knowing she not in my reach," Anne cried hard, bowing in front of Caden.

Caden only smirked, their cries and please not affecting him one bit. " Caden, or whoever you are. Leave me alone, I'm not going anywhere with you!" Felicia almost yelled, trying to control her anger.

" You're in no right to decide for yourself, you're my slave now and you must listen to me, to your master." Caden emphasized, arms wrapped around her waist tightly to avoid her escaping.

" Caden, I beg of you, don't take my daughter, y-you can take me instead. I'll be happy to be a slave to you but please don't take her away, please." William begged, his head hitting the front of my shoe, pleading with tears in his eyes.

" Ahh, typical family moment." Caden thought as he watched them, their daughter fighting for escape in his arms, the couple bowing and begging with their eyes balled out.

"Even after I've given you so much money, you are not still satisfied." He shook his head, " what do you want then?" He asked, William wanted to speak but was interrupted by Caden, " if it's her, then sorry." He muttered.

Felicia, who was still struggling to release herself from his grip was suddenly flung on Caden's shoulder, making her yelp.

Quickly regaining herself, she started hitting Caden's back, " I don't want to go with you! What don't you get?" She snarled, hitting his back with all her energy but it was all in vain because he wasn't affected by her hits.

Turning on his heels and walking out of the sob filled room, Anne standing up and rushing to the retreating figures.

One of the guards quickly caught her before she could even reach them, " p-please, m-my daughter," she tapped her chest as she stammered, tears falling from her eyes like the rain, " please. Don't let my daughter go with him."

Caden and Felicia were already out of the house and in the carriage, waiting fir the guards to come out.

"What do you want from me?!" Felicia yelled, hitting him with her hands but Caden held her hands with his hand, stoping her movements. "Why are you doing this?" She asked, this time her voice low because she was exhausted.

Caden chuckled, his head down and his black long and luscious hair falling, covering his features. "You're still a little girl, princess." He muttered, making Felicia angry.

"Don't you dare call me that!" She snapped, yanking her hands out of his hold, "I'm 19! Do I look small to you?" She rubbed her wrists, thinking of ways to escape.

Looking at the door by her left, she thought of running away while he was distracted.

She turned back to Caden who was looking outside, impatiently waiting for his guards.

She took that as an opportunity to open the door and run, carefully moving towards door, letting my hand move to open it with caution. Her heart was pounding really fast as she executed her plan.

As she opened the door, about to jump out, an arm drawed her back, the door closing with instincts and her back hitting a strong chest.

Before she could recollect, she was sitting on a lap, Caden's lap. "And you think you can escape?" Caden scoffed, his arms wrapped around her waist tightly.

Her heart was pounding hard against her ribcage, her breathing coming in loud pants as fear crept into her. "This man was going to take me away from my parents." She thought, her body stiff on his own. Her mind swirling with thoughts of escaping.

The guards finally came out, going to the front to ready the horse. The carriage started moving with speed, heading to the forest when a rift opened.

A gasp left Felicia's mouth as she saw it, her heart pounding even faster as panic surged through her. "Sir, let me go. I don't want to go with you. I can't leave my parents alone there." Her voice trembled with fear.

Caden didn't react to her constant please as they entered the rift, going to his world, Nosgoth, his home where he ruled like he was the king.

Felicia fainted, the fear too much on her, her vision blurring and darkness clouding her head.
