"No." Roxie replied.
She moved her lips slowly so the woman would be able to read her lips.
The woman would surely hear her because the distance between them was small.
Still, Roxie did not want to leave any stone unturned. The woman must know that there was no place for her in this store.
Roxie was not going to save someone that was as heartless as the woman before her.
The cries of Aisha was still ringing in Roxie's ears. It was a terrible feeling.
The woman's face froze. After using a second to pull herself back together, she put her palms together and made a praying gesture.
"Please, help me. Don't let me die. I beg for your favor." The woman pleaded.
Roxie was prepared to stop the man beside her if he decided to help the lady.
Thankfully, something like that didn't happen. The man remained where he was.
The two of them kept watching the woman's antics.
The woman kept trying to get Roxie to let her into the store.
Roxie knew why the woman was asking for permission. The door to the store was not locked but many things can happen if the woman decided to just barge in. Roxie walked over to the door and purposely closed it.
Roxie walked back to her former position with a cold face.
The patience of the woman outside the door was obviously limited.
She stopped trying to beg Roxie and the other person to let her into the store.
Her face changed.
It became colder as the seconds passed. There was anger and fury in her pupils.
The woman's arms landed on the steering wheel of the car.
The strength she was using to hold the wheel was substantial. Her white skin lost color rapidly.
Veins pushed the surface of the woman's skin upwards.
"Since you don't want to give me a chance to live, I am not going to leave you untouched too." The woman said.
Roxie took a few steps backward. The woman's eyes was filled with craziness.
Since Roxie was not sure if the man that was standing beside her was a player, she did not want to go into her space in public.
The only thing she can do right now is to try and avoid whatever the crazy woman outside the store wanted to do.
She took a few more steps backwards.
The woman started the car again.
Unfortunately, the car didn't give the woman the kind of stress it punished her with when she was about to drive towards the store earlier.
After the car roared to life, the woman stepped on the pedal. The car pushed forward with full force.
It crashed into the store. Numerous glass shards from the broken window flew everywhere.
The rain outside followed the breeze in.
When the acid rain touched the surface of anything, sizzling sounds filled everywhere.
The engine of the car started to make strange sounds again.
The crazy woman didn't stop there.
She reversed the car before heading towards the store again with full momentum.
"We will all go to the afterlife together. Haha." The woman muttered.
More things were destroyed.
Roxie stared at the woman with cold eyes.
She had not even gotten revenge for the child the woman killed heartlessly before the woman started to misbehave.
This woman was hammering the nail on her future coffin.
Although Roxie wasn't going to let her go in the first place, she would make the woman's dying moments a living hell.
Nothing would be able to change her mind.
Crazy problems needed to be solved with crazy solutions.
There was a shelf that blocked the view of the people standing near the entrance.
Roxie quickly went to behind the shelf.
She took gloves that could resist acidic damage to an extent from her space. She wore them quickly.
The gloves' length was long. The gloves passed her elbow.
When she was done, she left the blind spot the shelf created and walked over to the entrance of the store.
The woman was driving into the store the third time.
The strange sounds her car was making was becoming louder by the minute.
The smell of smoke mixed with gasoline made the air harder to inhale.
Roxie didn't stay in a place that would be near the areas affected by the woman's crazy actions.
She waited patiently.
After the woman crashed into the store again, Roxie walked to the car.
The car was locked but the acid that was falling on the on the car made everything weaker. The discoloration of the car has spread. Some parts of the car was rusty too.
It felt like the car aged several years.
Roxie yanked the door open with all her strength.
The woman's face was filled with horror. Her eyes widened to their limits.
She tried to reverse the car again.
Luckily, her actions were all in vain.
The engine that had been crying out in protest for a very long time finally gave up. After the engine died completely, a low hum still came from the car.
Roxie grabbed her hair.
Some of the woman's hair had burned away because of the drops of rain that touched her by mistake.
A scream tore itself out of the woman's throat. Her two hands grabbed the hand Roxie was using to hold her head in place.
The smell of burnt and rotting flesh was coming from the woman.
Roxie didn't mind all that. She dragged the woman out of the car.
"Let me go, you witch." The woman yelled.
Her words fell on deaf ears.
"If I am a witch, you are the grandmaster of a different and useless coven." Roxie sneered.
The adopted son of the store owner was watching everything that was playing out with an indifferent look on his face.
He folded his arms are across his chest as his eyes followed all the actions Roxie did.
When the woman was trying to destroy the shop by crashing into it, the man moved away from the entrance.
He was standing at a corner in the store. His current position gave him an advantage. He could see everything he wanted to see.
Because of the woman's crazy actions, one part of the shop that was connected to the door had caved in.
Most of the bricks and materials that was used in building the store had crumbled to the floor.
Rain was coming into the store from the crash site.
The acid rain didn't get to the depths of the shop but the store was not very safe anymore.
The acid rain at the small crash site would be enough for what Roxie was about to do.
Since the woman was very happy to use her daughter as a shield against the acid rain, Roxie wanted to give the woman similar treatment.
It was just that her death would be much more slower than her innocent daughter's.
The woman's words changed their tone. She did not try to curse Roxie anymore.
After seeing the direction Roxie was dragging her towards, she must have seen what her fate would be.
The woman pleaded, "Please, I am sorry. Let me go."
