Chapter 1 - ##Chapter1

Chapter 1: A Fool's Death

Welcome, dear reader, to the life—or rather, the death—of Sam Roger. Some call me a troublemaker, others a menace, but I prefer the term... free spirit.

Let's face it: I'm not exactly hero material. If you're here for a noble, self-sacrificing protagonist, well, you might want to turn back now. But if you're in the mood for chaos, stick around—you won't regret it.

This story begins on a sunny morning, as ordinary as it could be for someone like me.

"Yes! Right there... Oh yeah, that feels so good!"

"More, give me more!"

"You want it? You want it?"

"I'm going to cum—ahhhhh," I groaned, sinking deeper into the covers.

SMACK!

I slammed my hand down on my alarm clock, silencing my ridiculous custom ringtone.

"I seriously need to change that alarm—it's just way too much."

"Alexis, play 'Unstoppable' by Sia," I mumbled as I dragged myself out of bed.

The music filled the room as I stumbled into the bathroom.

♪ I'll smile, I know what it takes to fool this town... ♪

Brushing my teeth and humming off-key, I stared into the mirror.

"Today's the day, Sam. You're going to do... something. Or nothing. Let's see how it goes," I muttered before spitting out the toothpaste.

A few minutes later, I was in the kitchen, shoving leftover pizza into my mouth. By the time I was dressed and ready to leave, Sia's chorus was still blasting through the speakers.

"Alexis, stop the music!" I said, pausing dramatically at the door. Gripping the handle, I psyched myself up.

"You can do this. Just like you practiced. Deep breath, and..."

I swung the door open, stepped outside, and yelled at the top of my lungs:

"GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE!"

The peaceful neighborhood stared back at me. Birds chirped, dogs barked, and Mrs. Henderson from next door glared out her window, shaking her head.

Just as I was about to bask in the glory of my morning declaration, the distant roar of an engine snapped me out of my thoughts.

And that's when it happened.

A truck—moving faster than it had any right to in a residential area—came hurtling toward me. My brain barely had time to register the words "Truck-kun?." printed on the side before I felt the impact.

The next moments were a blur. One second, I was flying through the air like a ragdoll. The next, I was skidding across the pavement, coming to an unceremonious stop by a pickup truck two blocks away.

As I lay there, staring at the sky, a single thought crossed my mind:

Well, at least the neighbors are finally paying attention to me.

That thought didn't last long. A stray metal rod rolled off the truck and… well, let's just say it finished the job.

And just like that, my life ended.

The Aftermath

The neighborhood gathered around my lifeless body, gawking in disbelief.

"Damn, Sam died," someone muttered.

"Should we call an ambulance?" another asked.

"Are you stupid? He's already dead! Call the police," a woman snapped.

"No, you idiot!" someone else hissed. "You can't call the police! This will ruin the neighborhood's reputation!"

Their bickering was cut short by a scream.

"What is it?" the crowd turned toward the source.

A woman pointed at my body, her face pale.

"His… his little brother twitched!"

"Even in death, Sam's causing trouble," someone muttered.

Mrs. Henderson sighed. "Well, at least he won't be yelling anymore."

A New Beginning

Meanwhile, somewhere in the vast expanse of the universe, my soul was speeding through the cosmos. Stars and galaxies blurred together as I hurtled toward... something.

Finally, I crashed into a planet that looked suspiciously like Earth. My soul passed through its atmosphere, zipped through a small town, and slammed into a house in the dead of night.

Inside, a young man lay sleeping on a couch. My arrival sent his body flying into the ceiling before landing back on the floor with a thud.

"Argh! Damn it! That hurt!" I groaned, rubbing my head.

And then it hit me—memories, emotions, a life that wasn't mine, flooding into my mind.

"I'm Sam... and… Andrea? Wait, what?"

The realization struck me like a truck (again): I'd reincarnated, and somehow, my soul had merged with someone else's.

"Well, this is going to be interesting," I muttered, a grin spreading across my face.
