Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: A Seriously Sirius Conversation

Number Twelve Grimmauld Place, London, 5/12/1982, 22:59

Sirius lead them into the house, Bellatrix was walking unsteadily on her feet as it would take a while before that poison was completely out of her system.

They had barely stepped inside when the portrait of Walburga Black started shrieking about intruders.

"Be Gone From The House Of Black!  AND YOU, HOW DARE YOU ENTER THIS HOUSE FILTHY BLOOD TRAITOR! YOU HAVE SHAMED THE HOUSE OF BLACK CAVORTING WITH HALFBREEDS AND MUD-

"Cease your incessant screeching, that is unbecoming of a member of the noblest and ancient house of Black," Harry drawled out in a passable imitation of Draco Malfoy.

The portrait froze midsentence looking surprised and Harry took the opportunity to hit the portrait with a freezing charm.

"I thought you were a half-blood," Bellatrix asked curiously.

"I am," Harry said with a shrug.

"That sounded like my brother-in-law," Bellatrix sniggered as they started up the stairs.

"Technically that was my version of your nephew, but the pretentious ponce is like a clone of Lucius so you're right in a way", Harry grinned as he pushed the drawing-room door open

"Now, we're here safe in the house so what the hell is going on!?" Sirius demanded as soon as they entered the drawing room.

"We escaped from prison," Harry said flatly as he shucked off his unspeakable robes and kicked off his boots.

"I figured that out by myself funnily enough, but who the hell are you!?" Sirius exclaimed impatiently as he took a seat in a high-backed chair and looked at Harry expectantly.

"Bellatrix you should have another dose of antidote, there was enough belladonna in that candy bar to kill a dragon," Harry said taking his trunk back out and removing another vial of antidote.

"Thank you, I can't believe I didn't taste it over the chocolate," Bellatrix groaned before drinking the antidote and laying down on the sofa, looking like she was ready to pass out.

"I only noticed after I had swallowed, it had a strange aftertaste," Harry admitted.

"Alright, she's taken care of now answer my damn question!" Sirius demanded starting to sound frustrated.

"My name is Harry Potter, I was sent to that cell from the year two thousand and four," Harry said cheerfully as he pulled out a change of clothes from his trunk.

"You really expect me to believe that?" Sirius asked incredulously.

"Here, this was my father's," Harry said throwing a piece of parchment to Sirius before heading out of the room to get a real shower.

Harry stepped into the drawing-room twenty minutes later to find Bellatrix sleeping deeply, the antidote was doing its thing, she should be okay in a few hours.

Sirius was staring at the Marauder's map in wonder and looked up when Harry entered the room.

"So you're my godson?" Sirius asked looking confused.

"Yep, and she killed you in my timeline," Harry added as he sat down at the other end of the couch Bella was sleeping on.

"How long were you in her cell for anyway?" Sirius asked shooting his cousin a wary look.

"Around three months," Harry replied as he sank into the sofa groaning at the simple luxury after months in that frigid hellhole.

"And she didn't strangle you in your sleep?" Sirius asked sounding a bit amused.

"No, though I'm pretty sure she molested me while I was asleep," Harry said thoughtfully his eyes starting to feel heavier after the steaming hot shower.

"Ugh, she is crazy always has been," Sirius exclaimed shooting his sleeping cousin a wary look as if scared she would wake up and try to strangle him.

"She's a bit eccentric, she isn't full-blown crazy... yet," Harry argued forcing himself not to fall asleep.

"Oh, you like her don't you?" Sirius guffawed, suddenly understanding what was going on.

"She grew on me," Harry admitted, not really sure if he liked her in the way his godfather was implying.

"Never mind her, why were you sent back in time," Sirius demanded looking as if he had just remembered who Harry was claiming he was.

"I was part of an elite takedown team and there was a new terrorist group gaining power. We raided their headquarters. My team and I were captured by Augustus Rookwood. He... he killed my team and sent me back as revenge for killing his master... twice," Harry explained, choking up a bit when he remembered that his team had been killed the same night he was sent back.

"Is that why you lopped off his head?" Sirius asked giving Harry a sympathetic look.

"Yep, he can't send me back if he's dead! That should prevent the Serpent's Vengeance from being formed as well," Harry growled, still furious about the hell the deceased death eater had put him through.

"Did you say that you killed Voldemort twice?" Sirius asked looking a bit alarmed at Harry's response.

"Yeah, he used my blood in ninety-five to gain a new body, it was some type of necromancer ritual," Harry explained not sure if he really wanted to get into his life story tonight.

"So the other you is still in this time?" Sirius asked looking a bit concerned as if he thought Harry had replaced his younger self in this timeline.

"I guess, I don't know much about time travel but I am pretty sure that the other version of me is still where I was the first time around," Harry confessed, knowing that problem would have to be dealt with soon.

"Where would the other version of you be at?" Sirius pressed looking more serious than Harry had ever seen him.

"My aunt and uncle's house in Surrey," Harry said in a tone of disgust.

"How did you know I was innocent, did I finally get a trial or something in your time?" Sirius asked hopefully.

"No you escaped in ninety-three, the second person to ever do it, come to think of it now you're one of four," Harry said thoughtfully.

"Who was the fourth?" Sirius asked looking confused.

"Barty Crouch Jr, he escaped last week though his father did all the work so I'm not sure it actually counts," Harry said with a shrug.

"But you knew me in your timeline?" Sirius asked.

"Yeah, you were like a brother to me until you got blasted through the veil of death duelling her," Harry said pointing to Bella's sleeping form with his thumb.

"If you knew me, then you also must know about Peter?" Sirius pointed out, a feral look coming over his face.

"I do, he's living as Percy Weasley's pet rat. Though I imagine he'll become pretty skittish when news of our escape gets out," Harry answered, knowing he would have to deal with that problem soon as well.

"So why don't we just go grab him before he finds out?" Sirius suggested.

"And do what, stroll into the ministry and turn him in?" Harry asked sarcastically.

"I don't want to turn him in, I want to kill him!" Sirius exclaimed angrily.

"Holy shit, you can't be that stupid. If he dies so does proof your innocent and we need at least one of us that can go out in public," Harry said tiredly.

"You're a real wanker," Sirius said with no real heat.

"I've been told. Look mate, I am exhausted, let's get some sleep and talk about this later," Harry said as he stood up.

"Fine, but we are not finished with this," Sirius said giving Harry a pointed look.

"I figured as much, I'll take Regulus' room if that's okay," Harry said as he scooped Bellatrix up from the couch bridal style.

"Yeah go ahead," Sirius said unconcernedly.

"We will get Wormtail," Harry promised as he followed Sirius out of the drawing room.

"We had better, if my name is cleared then I can take custody of my godson," Sirius muttered.

"My thoughts exactly," Harry agreed.

"Thanks for getting me out of there, by the way," Sirius said as they headed up the stairs.

"Don't mention it," Harry waved him off before stepping off the stairs on the second-floor landing.

"Good night," Sirius called over his shoulder.

"Good night," Harry chuckled before walking down to the end of the hall.

Harry carried Bellatrix into one of the guest rooms before gently laying her on the bed and tucking her in.

That taken care of Harry made his way up the stairs to the fourth floor where Regulus' room was located. When Harry entered the room he grinned appreciatively, Kreacher only took the time to clean this room in his timeline and at the moment it was immaculately clean.

Kicking off his jeans and pulling back the covers Harry climbed into the bed, anticipating sleeping in a comfortable bed for the first time in months.

Bellatrix woke up not knowing where she was, she could tell she wasn't in her cell anymore. The bed she was in a soft comfortable, still, something was missing that was preventing her from falling back to sleep.

'Where is my pet?' Bellatrix thought as she got out of bed and padded out of the room.

Bellatrix recognized where she was as soon as she stepped into the hallway, this was her cousin's home.

Then the memory of her escape from Azkaban came back to her. She remembered almost being killed by a poisoned chocolate bar, then Harry carrying her away on a broomstick before bringing her here. She was free but her companion was nowhere to be found. Then it hit her, Harry was what was missing!

So Bellatrix began to search for her companion, he couldn't escape her that easily.

She checked all the bedrooms until she got to the fourth floor. There were only three rooms up here, going on a hunch she opened Regulus' bedroom door and finally found her pet.

Bella made her way to the bed and pulled off her prison robe before crawling under the covers and snuggling up to Harry, he was so warm and her bare chest pressed into his back felt wonderful. It wasn't long before she drifted back to sleep listening to the sound of his breathing.

Azkaban Prison, High-Security Wing, North Sea, 5/13/982, 09:48

He had been forced to return this morning to oversee the unspeakables inspection of the high-security wing.

Alastor hadn't gotten much sleep last night and was feeling particularly surly because of that.

Bones' two weeks stint working at the prison had turned into a six-month transfer after the stunt she pulled yesterday.

The aurors had always had to serve a couple of weeks a year working at the prison. It helped keep the ministry's cost down and made the aurors appreciate what happens to the people they help to incarcerate.

Moody had a feeling Bones had a long six months in front of her, working at the prison took a lot out of someone even with the amulets.

The truth of what really happened here was only known to himself and Barty Crouch. If the public ever got wind of this, there would be a shit storm of epic proportions directed at the DMLE.

They had no leads on the prisoners, they must have flown out because the main door to the high-security wing was still sealed when backup had arrived. That coupled with the eight-foot-wide hole in the wall of cell twelve and Moody was certain they had flown out on a broom.

The paper wouldn't find out about the escape until next week as Bagnold wanted to try and avoid this kind of press. The news of the escape would cause an uproar, especially after the country was still recovering from the recent war.

Augusta Longbottom had been questioned and admitted to having sent Bellatrix LeStrange a chocolate bar that she had soaked in essence of belladonna. Even with the confession, Moody doubted the Longbottom matriarch would see any charges from this. The public would remember what the LeStranges had done to Frank and Alice, Moody knew she would be absolved of any wrongdoing even if Bellatrix had died from the tainted chocolate.

"We have our results," Unspeakable Kramer said, cutting into Moody's musings.

"And?" Alastor asked impatiently.

"The man was an unspeakable prisoner, he was bound in special bracelets that completely suppressed his magic. The strange thing is that these bracelets are all numbered and these numbers match a pair of bracelets that are still sitting in my office," Kramer said sounding a bit flummoxed.

"If they completely suppressed his magic, how did he get them off?" Moody demanded.

"He overloaded them. These bracelets are not designed to contain a mage class wizard. These bracelets normally are keyed to the one who places them on a prisoner and only that person can remove them. In this case, they were keyed to Augustus Rookwood," Kramer explained.

"How is that possible? Rookwood has been in that cell since December of last year. For that matter, how come no one noticed a male prisoner in a female cell?" Moody pressed still not understanding what this spook was telling him.

"The bracelets are enchanted with a variation of the notice-me-not charm. The guards would have treated the man wearing the bracelets like a normal prisoner, never questioning anything about him. As for Rookwood, I am afraid I have no idea," Kramer answered honestly.

"Bugger, why do I get the feeling that this is only the beginning of your investigation?" Moody asked tiredly.

"Because you're a very intelligent man, I need this wing cleared so we can do a more thorough investigation," Kramer stated, smirking under his hood.

"You have forty-eight hours, I don't want these high-security prisoners in gen pop any longer than necessary," Moody said flatly.

"That should be more than enough time, I will let you know when we're done here. I will have to return to the ministry to get my field team now," Kramer said as he turned and headed for the exit.

"Fucking spooks," Alastor said to the empty wing.

Number Twelve Grimmauld Place, London, 6/13/1982, 11:46

Harry woke up feeling better rested than he had in months, this bed was so soft it was like sleeping on a cloud. There was also the fact he could properly stretch out and he had the bed all to him... self.

Harry felt her pressed against his back, her right arm was draped over him and now that he was waking up more he could feel her breath on his neck. He couldn't believe he hadn't noticed when he had first woken up.

Harry would admit to himself (and only himself) that he liked the feeling of her body pressed against his own. Though now that he thought about it, there was something different about the way her body felt against him this morning.

"Oh," Harry said out loud when he noticed a discarded prison robe laying on the floor near the door.

"You left me alone," Bellatrix muttered sleepily.

"I thought you might like your own space," Harry defended, now very conscious of the fact her bare breasts were pressing into his back.

"I don't like being alone," Bellatrix whispered as her hand drifted to his crotch.

Harry was considering letting her continue as he was feeling very turned on right now when the door was flung open.

"Bellatrix is gone!" Sirius exclaimed as he barged into the room.

Harry had jumped when the door slammed open, his wand was already aimed at Sirius before the Marauder had started speaking.

"No she's not," Harry sighed lowering his wand and flopping back on the bed.

"She wasn't in her room," Sirius exclaimed looking worried.

"That's because I'm here, idiot," Bellatrix said from under the covers.

"Oh," Sirius muttered looking surprised.

"That's what I said," Harry admitted his face flushed.

"So you two are shagging?" Sirius asked incredulously.

"No, not yet," Bellatrix grumbled, sounding upset about that fact.

"Do you mind Padfoot I need to get dressed," Harry asked pointedly.

"Sure, I'll just... go see about breakfast," Sirius stammered awkwardly before making a hasty retreat.

"What a twit," Bellatrix exclaimed as soon as Sirius left.

"Yeah," Harry agreed as he got up and found his jeans.

"Where did you get those?" Bella asked getting out of bed as well.

Harry froze, she was only wearing her knickers and her pert breasts were truly a sight to behold. Harry just stood there with one leg in his jeans staring at her in awe.

"So that's how I get your undivided attention," Bellatrix smirked as she retrieved her robes.

Harry shook himself and finished pulling up his pant, trying to avoid glancing at the enticing display and failing miserably.

"W-why are you topless?" Harry asked his eyes unconsciously drifting up and down her body.

"Those prison robes are scratchy," Bellatrix pouted.

"I guess we'll have to get you some clothes," Harry said thoughtfully.

"Good, I want some new robes," Bellatrix said excitedly.

"I was thinking of a few dresses," Harry countered.

"No! I won't wear anything muggle," Bellatrix protested.

Thankfully she had pulled her prison robes back on so Harry could deal with this without being distracted.

"We can't exactly walk into Diagon Alley you know?" Harry pointed out.

"Yes we can, just transfigure my hair brown, everyone will think I'm Andromeda," Bellatrix suggested.

"Knowing my luck, we would run into her and the whole trip would turn into a calamity," Harry countered.

"Well I'm not wearing muggle robes," Bellatrix said in a petulant tone.

"Wait a tick, I just got an idea," Harry said rushing from the room and heading to the kitchen.

Sirius was by the stove pouring himself a cup of tea when Harry walked in.

"Hey Sirius, where is Kreacher?" Harry asked as Bella entered the kitchen looking cross.

Before Sirius could answer there was a soft 'pop' and the house elf in question appeared.

"You called for Kreacher?" The elf asked completely ignoring Sirius.

"Yes, Bellatrix needs some clothes so I would like you to go to Twilfit and Tattings and bring back a catalogue. Then go to Fortescue's and bring back three strawberry and peanut butter ice cream cones," Harry instructed.

"At once master," the elf said before disappearing.

"How can you order him around?" Sirius asked as he took a seat at the table.

"You made me your heir. When you died I became lord Black, I guess the title transcends time," Harry said with a shrug.

"You told him to bring me ice cream?" Bellatrix asked hopefully.

"Yes, then you can pick some robes out in the catalogue and Kreacher will order them for you," Harry said handing her a cup of tea with four sugars.

"So the ice cream is a bribe?" Sirius asked curiously.

"Definitely," Harry admitted.

"I hope he gets back soon," Bellatrix pouted.

'Pop'

"It's here!" Bellatrix exclaimed snatching one of the cones Kreacher was hovering in front of him and taking a bite.

Sirius grabbed his looking almost as excited as Bellatrix. Harry took his ice cream in a more dignified manner before accepting the catalogue from the elf.

"Thank you, could you please stock the house with food?" Harry asked politely.

"At once," Kreacher said with a bow before disappearing with another 'pop.'

"Here pick out what you want and I'll have Kreacher get your measurements," Harry said placing the catalogue in front of her.

"No, you can get Bella's measurements, without magic," Bellatrix replied making Sirius snort into his ice cream.

"Got something to say cousin," Bella asked crossly.

"Nope," Sirius said with a smirk.

"Don't get her riled up," Harry said tiredly.

"I would never," Sirius said feigning offence.

"Good, and fine I'll do your measurements," Harry said to Bella.

"She just wants you to touch her," Sirius said with a grin.

"Shut up!" Bellatrix screeched angrily, her cheeks turning pink.

"Oh brother," Harry sighed as he took a bite of his ice cream.

17:45

Bellatrix's clothes had arrived about thirty minutes ago. She had insisted that he get her measurements with an old tailor's tape she found in one of the kitchen drawers (not that he minded all that much).

After that, she had him cast the spell that came with the catalogue so she could see which robes looked best on her while she stood in front of a full-length mirror.

In the end, she ordered seven acromantula silk robes, undergarments, socks, shoes, and three pairs of high-heeled boots. She wasn't that picky and was able to pick out what she wanted in a little over an hour. Harry then sent Kreacher off with the order and her measurements.

The real problem today had been Sirius instigating arguments with Bellatrix. They were acting like a couple of first years and it was starting to feel like babysitting.

Harry was getting fed up with all the bickering and he had finally come up with a plan to get the ball rolling on Sirius' freedom. This was why he was on his way to find his godfather and fill him in on the plan

Harry entered the kitchen to find Sirius filling out an order form for Madam Malkins.

"Please tell me you don't want me to get your measurements too," Harry said by way of greeting as he took a seat across from him.

"Sorry mate, you're not my type," Sirius snorted as he finished up his order.

"Thank heavens for that," Harry muttered a look of relief crossing his face.

"So what can I help you with?" Sirius asked after he handed the order form to a scowling Kreacher to deliver.

"I think you should get in contact with Dumbledore, see if he can pick up Pettigrew before news of your escape goes public," Harry explained hoping Sirius wouldn't fight him on this.

"Do you think he would really help me?" Sirius asked sceptically.

"Yeah, he's a pretty fair guy, though I would advise meeting him away from the school," Harry said after thinking on it for s moment.

"How will I get in touch with him?" Sirius asked looking like he was considering the idea.

"Patronus message him, have him meet you at the Hogs Head at eight, I'll go to watch your back," Harry volunteered.

"Alright, oh good dinner is ready," Sirius said happily as food appeared on the table.

"What are we having?" Bellatrix asked as she entered the kitchen wearing her new robes.

"Beef stew," Harry said happily.

"And dessert?" Bella asked as she took a seat.

"Treacle tart" Harry replied as he fixed Bellatrix a bowl of stew.

"Expecto patronum," Sirius incanted and watched his dog patronus disappear through the wall.

"I want a wand," Bellatrix demanded.

"Why you'll just go torment muggles with it," Sirius said snidely as he filled his own bowl.

"I would not, I would torment you," Bellatrix threatened before spooning stew into her mouth.

"I have you a wand in my trunk, it's walnut and dragon heartstring," Harry said with a smirk.

After the war, Harry had kept a few wands as trophies, Draco Malfoy's hawthorn wand, Tom Riddle's yew wand, and Bellatrix LeStrange's walnut wand. They came in handy as he had two backups, though Bellatrix's wand never did work for him properly.

"That's what my old wand was made of," Bellatrix exclaimed excitedly.

"Technically the one I have is your wand," Harry explained with a grin.

"Why do you have it?" Bellatrix asked after taking a bite of stew.

"It was kind of a trophy I took after the war but that wand never responded well for me," Harry admitted.

All three occupants started when a sliver Phoenix patronus flew through the wall and landed in front of Sirius before speaking in the headmaster's voice.

"I will meet with you this evening, you have my word that I will come alone."

"Well bugger, I guess I have to go see Dumbledore now," Sirius said looking worried.

"I will go with you," Harry assured him.

"What about me, you can't leave me here," Bellatrix protested.

"Can you stay quiet and not draw attention to us?" Harry asked giving her a pointed look.

"I am a death eater, I know how to stake a place out," Bellatrix replied sounding almost offended.

"Fine, I'm pretty sure your idea will work for this," Harry said after some thought.

"What idea?" Sirius asked between bites of stew.

"She's going to disguise herself as Andromeda," Harry said after finishing his dinner.

"As much as I hate to admit it, that will probably work," Sirius conceded.

"Of course, it will, now what about my wand?" Bellatrix demanded as she finished stew.

"Yeah, I'll get it then we can head out," Harry nodded.

Taking out his wand, Harry summoned his trunk from the drawing room and waited patiently for it to float down the stairs. Once the trunk arrived, Harry popped the lid open and then opened a flap on the underside of the lid where three wands were hidden.

Harry pulled Bellatrix's wand from the rack and handed it to her. Bella took the wand but gasped when she got a good look at the bone white want in the second holder of the rack.

"That's the dark lord's wand," Bellatrix exclaimed, staring at the wand in awe.

"Yep, that one works perfectly for me," Harry said as he closed up the trunk.

Bellatrix then looked at the wand in her hand and stared at it in wonder for a moment.

"This really is my wand!" She exclaimed happily.

"I know," Harry said before flicking his wand at Bella's hair making it lighten from ebony to a dark brown.

"What did you do?" Bellatrix demanded.

"Changed your hair to brown like Andy's," Harry answered while shrinking his trunk and putting it back in the pouch around his neck.

"You do look a lot like Andy," Sirius grudgingly admitted.

"Good, but I'm still the prettier than her though," Bellatrix replied smugly.

"You need a disguise to Sirius," Harry cut in before Sirius could get her started again.

"Yeah, I got it covered," Sirius grinned before shifting into his dog form.

"My dad was right, I like you better as a dog," Harry said with a smirk.

"He is less annoying," Bellatrix said before shooting a stinging hex at Sirius as he started to raise his leg near her.

"Alright let's go," Harry said tiredly.

'These two had serious issues," Harry thought as he led them out of the house.

Hogs Head Pub, Scotland,6/13/1982, 19:54

The pub was just as filthy as Harry remembered it, the stone floor was completely covered in dirt and filth so it seemed almost earthen. The fireplace and a few oil lamps were the only lighting giving the place just enough light to see the tables.

Harry led Bella off to a table in the shadows and took a seat, Sirius trotting along in their wake.

Harry raised his hand and the bartender came over shortly after, "What can I get you?"

"Two bottles of butterbeer," Harry answered giving the man four sickles.

"That only comes to three sickles," the barman said before going to get their drinks.

"Why did you order butter beer?" Bellatrix asked as the barman brought their drinks and went back to the bar.

"This place is filthy, I can't imagine drinking out of a glass here, and butterbeer comes in sealed bottles," Harry said popping the cork out of his bottle and taking a swig.

"Good point, Dumbledore just arrived by the way," Bellatrix said taking a drink of her own.

Harry looked over at the door and saw the headmaster enter and take a seat at a table not far from theirs.

Sirius shifted into his human form and walked over and took a seat in front of the aged headmaster.

"Good evening Sirius, I must admit I was surprised to get a message from you," Dumbledore said loudly enough for Harry to hear.

"Yes, I need your help to prove my innocence and time is a factor," Sirius admitted in a rush.

"And what is this proof exactly," Dumbledore asked calmly.

"The real betrayer of James, it was Pettigrew," Sirius replied earnestly.

"Peter Pettigrew is dead, you killed him the day you were captured," Dumbledore said his voice sounding a bit frosty.

"No, I didn't. He cut off his finger and transformed into his animagus form, then he slunk into the sewer after blowing up the street behind him," Sirius explained frantically.

"He was an animagus? What was his form?" Dumbledore asked sounding sceptical.

"Yes, we all were except for Remus, Peter's form was a common garden rat," Sirius explained sounding a bit calmer.

"Even if I were to believe you, it would very difficult to find him perhaps impossible. Have you any idea how many rats there are in London alone?" Dumbledore asked in a patient tone.

"He's living with the Weasleys, their son Percy is keeping him as a pet," Sirius said looking disgusted at the thought.

"How could you know that?" Dumbledore said looking alarmed at what Sirius had said.

"I can't say, but if he isn't caught before they make the announcement of my escape, he will flee," Sirius said earnestly.

"Very well, I will investigate this forthwith, Arthur is an old friend of mine," Dumbledore said rising from his seat.

"Can I tag along?" Sirius said standing up as well.

"Yes, but you will have to remain outside the boundaries of the Weasley's wards," Dumbledore said leading him out of the pub.

"Should we follow him?" Bella asked though not sounding keen on the idea.

"Nope, I trust Dumbledore to handle his," Harry said standing up.

"So I guess we're going back to Grimmauld?" Bellatrix asked as she stood up as well.

"Yep, I had to get Sirius out of my hair for a bit, he was driving me mad," Harry admitted.

"Try growing up with him," Bellatrix muttered before spinning on the spot and disapparating.

'If tonight goes well, maybe I will,' Harry thought with a grin as he apparated back to their hideout.

The Burrow, Devon, 5/13/1982, 21:13

Albus appeared in front of the home of the Weasleys and waited for Sirius to arrive.

Getting a patronus message from Sirius Black earlier tonight had been quite a shock to the headmaster. Sirius had requested a meeting with him and claimed that it was urgent. Albus had been tempted to send Alastor in his stead but decided to hear the man out. If what Sirius had told him was true, they might have finally discovered the spy within the order.

Sirius arrived with a small 'pop' looking around to get his bearings, they had arrived in the apple orchard on the east side of the Weasleys property. The night was clear and the moon was shining pretty brightly so they could see pretty far into the distance.

"Wait here, I will be back shortly," Dumbledore instructed.

Getting a nod from Sirius he made his way towards the back kitchen entrance and knocked smartly on the door.

The door was opened by Arthur Weasley less than a minute later.

"Albus to what do I owe this pleasure?" Arthur asked ushering him inside.

"There is a very serious matter I need to discuss with you, does your son Percy have a pet rat?" Albus asked after casting a privacy charm over them.

"Yes, he found him around Christmas and we let him keep the little fellow," Arthur said looking confused.

"Does the rat have any distinguishing features, a toe missing perhaps!" Albus asked urgently.

"Yes, the first toe on his front paw," Arthur replied sounding concerned.

"I need you to get everyone downstairs just don't say anything about me around the rat, I fear he is very dangerous," Dumbledore instructed.

Nodding Arthur darted up the stairs to get his wife and children.

Albus was blown away, part of him had believed what Sirius was telling him but the logical part of his mind truly hadn't been convinced. Albus was ashamed to admit his own prejudices had condemned an innocent man to Azkaban. Sirius came from a family that was deeply rooted in the dark arts and Albus had assumed Sirius had given in to the pressure from his mother in the end.

Albus was pulled from his thoughts when Molly came down with a babe in each arm followed by three small boys and finally Arthur leasing a set of twins.

"That's all of us Albus," Arthur said looking worriedly at the headmaster.

"Good, I will go up now," Albus said before casting a disillusionment charm over himself.

Albus heard Molly ask, "Arthur what's going on?" before he climbed up the first set of steps and couldn't hear Arthur's response.

Casting the homenum revelio spell, Albus was able to locate a human presence on the third floor.

Albus quietly crept up the stairs before stepping through into the room off of the third-floor landing. Albus was grateful that Arthur had left the door open so he was able to easily enter the room without being noticed.

There were toys scattered around the room and pictures young Percy had drawn hanging on the walls. It didn't take Albus long to locate his target, he saw the rat sleeping peacefully in a cage on the bedside table. Albus cast a silent stunner to ensure the man was incapacitated before cancelling his disillusionment charm.

Carefully he removed the rat from the cage before setting it on the floor. Albus raised his wand and cast the animagus reversal spell, part of him was hoping that this wasn't really Peter Pettigrew.

Albus was saddened as he watched the rat transform before his eyes, the brown rat turning into the chubby blond man he thought had died a hero's death last November.

"Expecto patronum," Albus said watching his phoenix patronus fly off to alert the Aurors of this new development.

Sighing again, Albus began levitating the unconscious man down the stairs. It was looking like this was going to be a very long night.

'I guess we owe Sirius a trial after this,' Albus thought morosely.

Grimmauld Place, London, 6/14/1982, 09:45

Harry groaned and stretched his arms over his head jostling the ebony beauty sleeping with her head on his shoulder.

He had tried to make her sleep in her own room and had failed spectacularly. In the end, he just gave in as sometimes it was just easier that way.

Sirius had never returned last night and Harry was starting to get concerned. He was sure that Dumbledore would be successful but anything could happen.

"Good morning," Bella said sleepily.

"Good morning, Bella," Harry said distractedly.

"You seemed thoughtful this morning," Bella commented.

"I was just wondering if Sirius made it back yet?" Harry answered with a shrug.

"Probably not, they will hold him until he has a trial," Bella said before getting up.

"I'll have Kreacher get me a paper," Harry said getting up as well and heading for the loo.

Harry drained his bladder and decided he might as well get a shower. He had barely gotten under the water when Bellatrix entered the bathroom humming to herself.

"A little privacy, Bella," Harry called out exasperatedly.

"Sorry I have to pee," Bellatrix replied innocently.

Shaking his head, Harry went back to washing his hair deciding it was too early in the morning to argue with her.

Harry was just starting to rinse the shampoo out of his hair when he heard the shower's sliding glass door slide open and felt Bella's hands slide over his back.

"Don't hog the water Harry," Bellatrix whispered into his ear.

Nodding dumbly Harry switched places with her so she could stand under the water. Harry stood there watching the water cascade over her body, completely entranced as the water ran over her curves. Harry's resolve was starting to crack, he couldn't deny how attracted to her he was and knew it wouldn't be long before he gave into temptation.

"Do you like sharing a shower with me?" Bellatrix asked looking over her shoulder at him.

Harry nodded dumbly and Bellatrix smiled sultrily before turning around and stepping closer to him. Harry backed up until his back hit the cold tile behind him, but she kept closing the distance between them. Soon, her chest was pressed into his and Harry felt his raging erection pressed into her stomach.

"You can touch me all you want," Bellatrix purred into his ear.

Harry gulped completely at a loss for what to say as his hands acted on their own accord and came to rest on her hips pulling her tighter to him.

"All you have to do is ask," Bellatrix whispered before pulling away from him and stepping back under the water.

Harry was considering taking her up on that offer when there was a 'pop' inside the bathroom.

A second later, Kreacher's voice echoed in the tiled room, "Master Harry, the blood traitor is here to see you."

"Who, Sirius?" Harry asked barely controlling his frustration at being interrupted in giving into his baser urges.

"No miss Andromeda," Kreacher answered.

"I'll be right down," Harry told Kreacher.

'Well this could get interesting,' Harry thought as he stepped out of the shower to a thankfully Kreacher-free bathroom.
