Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: 5 Elite Beasts

Standing before a building of mud mortar, a poster hung on the face of the wall.

TRADE HOUSE

"I'm in a hurry. Can you give me your spot?"

"Are you drunk? Everyone has some tasks to do, so stand in your line."

Many guys were standing in the line, and whispers were going around within their own teams.

"The line is quite long."

Aman shrugged his shoulders.

"Routine of everyday," he said and stood in the line.

Calmly, Rahul also stood in the line.

Everything was the same, but the treatment is very poor.

Maybe this is the life of a common man.

Since Rahul was standing after Aman, he asked his questions.

"How long does it usually take?"

"On average, 30 minutes. If an issue arises, then come tomorrow."

"Then why not come in the morning?"

Aman sighed.

"Brother, you should read your manual."

"Thanks." Taking out the manual, Rahul flipped the pages.

Introduction:

Rule:

Forbidden Rule:

Lodging:

Trade House:

Common beast:

Common Mount:

There were numerous topics in the introductory part.

Rahul shrugged his shoulders.

The manual was totally different from the previous one.

Maybe that one was specifically for people like us.

"Bro, since you are also bored, why not give me some important tips?"

Aman pondered as he nodded his head.

"Promise me that you won't leave our team."

"I can promise, but if it hinders my growth, then I'll quit."

"No problem."

"Every month, there will be a Peak Beast raid, and professionals of their class will be selected. It lasts for one week."

"One week? Isn't that too long?"

Aman shook his head.

"Every lair of a Perfect Beast holds 10 to 25 Mysts, 50 to 60 Elite, and 250 to 300 Beginner Beasts. So, the goal of the raid is to clear one lair per day, and the loot will be distributed as we go."

"There should be some conditions to join, right?"

"Yeah. The minimum is Elite, but archery has a lower condition as long as proficiency is advanced or above."

Suddenly, Aman's eyes lit up.

"Brother, your proficiency is at least above advanced, right?"

Rahul simply nodded his head.

"Great. That way, our team is qualified, and we will fill out the form."

"Next team!"

"Yes, sir."

Raushan handed over the storage ring.

Dropping all the loot on the ground, the staff counted and filled in the panel before him.

35 Beginner Wooden Men

1 Elite Wooden Man

1 Elite Mottled Parrot

After writing it down in the registry, the staff tore off a sheet where a carbon copy was revealed.

"Take this," the staff said, handing it over.

"Yes, sir," Aman replied as he took the receipt and read it.

Loot: Fragment

35 Beginner Wooden Men: 75 frags [4 to 5 wood extracts from 1 Beginner Wooden Man]

1 Elite Wooden Man: 10 frags [20 to 25 wood extracts from 1 Elite Wooden Man]

1 Elite Mottled Parrot: 75 frags [128 kg carcass, 50 to 60 arrows]

A panel appeared before Aman.

[You have been credited 160 Beginner Beast Fragments.]

"Thanks, sir."

Cheerfully, the group moved away.

"Rishikesh, the price of any Elite Beast is around 1 lakh, but a mount's price is nine to ten times that. The total adds up to 1 million."

Rishikesh and everyone nodded as they already knew the rules, while Rahul listened calmly.

"According to the rules of our team, the price is cut in half—that's 5 lakhs. So, you'll have to give us 5 lakhs, and we will distribute it among ourselves."

This was a good rule if taken in the long term, and the benefits still tilted toward Rishikesh because he held a total of 50%, while the rest was distributed among the others.

"No worries, I've saved up to 9 lakhs. Let's go to the bank."

Everyone moved and, as before, arrived at the bank.

"Fill up the form," the staff said, handing over the transfer application.

...

With a faint smile on his face, Rishikesh nodded.

"I'm happy that I joined this team."

"Same, everyone is happy."

"I'm happy too."

"Rishikesh since you have got a mount today you have to give us a party."

"Why not? Let's go."

...

Holding a receipt in his hand, Rahul entered his building and lay on the bed.

Looking at the ceiling, his tense body now relaxed.

"They are good mates."

Without caring, he threw the receipt into his inventory since it was a record of the transaction. A panel appeared before him.

Beginner Gene: 200/200

Elite Gene: 200/200

Mysterious Gene: 200/200

Peak Gene: 85/200

"Hmm, a profit of 32 Beginner Beast Fragments and 1.25 lakhs."

The next moment, the panel disappeared, and his heavy eyelids fell shut.

...

As he came out of the building, the warm sunlight fell on his face and soothed his emotions.

Taking a clean, deep breath, he muttered under his breath,

What should I do?

Waste my time, hunting low level?

No. I can't take action now.

Wait for the monthly plan.

Calming himself and making a decision, he moved toward the allotted place.

"Hey Rahul, hurry up!"

Moving a bit faster, he reached.

"Good morning, everyone."

"Good morning."

"Leader, what about today?"

"Today, our target is to hunt 5 Elite Beasts."

"Will that be possible?" Raushan raised his suspicion.

"That wasn't possible before, but now, since we have a good archer..."

Everyone nodded since they had seen Rahul's skill of bombarding all his arrows into the parrot's mouth and hitting the Elite Wooden Man's eye.

"Okay, no objections."

"Let's go since time is tight."
