Chapter 1 - Prologue: The Rorld Reforged

The world was not always like this.

Centuries ago, the Eruption marked the end of the Old Age. In an instant, the Earth cracked open, and from its depths emerged the first of the Primals: titanic beasts whose power dwarfed anything humanity had ever known. Mountains crumbled under their steps, oceans roared with their cries, and the skies darkened with their shadows.

Humanity's weapons were useless. Bullets bounced off their hides, firepower only seemed to enrage them, and entire cities were wiped from existence in their wake. The balance of power on Earth had shifted, and for a time, it seemed humanity's reign was over.

But humans are nothing if not resilient.

In the face of extinction, humanity turned to its greatest strength: Science. A breakthrough came when the remains of fallen beasts were analyzed, revealing materials unlike anything on Earth—primal bones harder than steel, blood that conducted energy, and scales that absorbed kinetic force.

From these discoveries arose the Forgemasters, pioneers who combined science with the organic remains of the Primals to create artificial beasts. These creatures, known as Forged Beasts, became humanity's first line of defense.

Forged Beasts were as diverse as the threats they faced. Some were massive constructs of iron and sinew, built to rival the Primals in strength. Others were sleek and agile, designed to outmaneuver their wild counterparts. The Forgemasters who created and controlled these beasts formed a new elite, wielding powers equal to their primal counterparts.

Over time, humanity began to reclaim its lost territories, driving the Primals back into the Wildlands.

But the world was forever changed.

The Wildlands covered nearly 70% of the planet, a chaotic expanse of untamed nature where the Primals reigned supreme. These lands were filled with danger—territories controlled by beasts of immense power, each stronger than the last.

The Wildlands remained a region of both mystery and terror, a place where humanity's influence could only stretch so far. No matter how much ground was reclaimed, new beasts, stronger than the last, continued to emerge.

And yet, the Wildlands were not only a place of danger. They were also a land of opportunity. The deeper humanity pushed into these territories, the more valuable resources were discovered.

Forgotten relics from the Old Age, rare materials to forge stronger beasts, these were the prizes waiting for those brave enough to venture into the heart of the Wildlands.

Humanity's creations, the Forged Beasts, were humanity's only equalizer against the Primals. Forgemasters—those skilled enough to create these artificial creatures—crafted them using materials scavenged from fallen Primals and technology.

Each Forged Beast was unique, its abilities determined by the components used in its construction.

The strength of Forged Beasts was categorized into ranks:

Iron Tier: The weakest beasts, often created by novice Forgemasters. These creatures were used for menial tasks or as fodder against low-tier Primals.

Bronze Tier: Reliable but limited in power, Bronze Tier beasts served as the backbone of most smaller settlements.

Silver Tier: Highly efficient combat units with specialized abilities. These beasts were often employed by skilled Forgemasters or as defenders of key territories.

Gold Tier: The pride of advanced Forgemasters. Gold Tier beasts were powerful enough to take down lesser Primals and were equipped with multiple abilities.

Platinum Tier: Legendary creations that pushed the limits of technology and organic synthesis. Platinum beasts were capable of challenging Crowned Beasts and Evolved Primals.

Mythic Tier: A rarity spoken of in legends. These beasts were said to rival even the strongest Evolved Primals, capable of reshaping battlefields with their presence alone.

Not all Forgemasters were willing to be at the forefront of the ongoing war between humans and primals, this was where tamers came in.

Anyone can be a tamer but the type of forged beasts that can be tamed depends solely on something the Forgemasters called soul power.

The higher ones soul power, the more powerful the forged beasts he/she cam tame. Everyones soul power is measured at birth which determines wether one would join the military or not.

The rich could afford powerful forged beasts while the poor could either salvage scraps from the scrap yard or join the military, which has a soul power requirement, to be able to get one.

But even with humanity's advancement, the threat of Primals remained, powerful and relentless, threatening to wipe humanity off the face of the Earth.

These beasts were constantly evolving, and no matter how many Forged Beasts were created, it seemed there would always be a Primal stronger and more dangerous lurking in the Wildlands, waiting for the right moment to strike.

Humanity had won many battles, but the war was far from over.
