During a family discussion that was like being doused in ice water, when everyone was silent to Jayden's comments. One of the maid ventured to speak up in defense of her Lady.
She walked over to Celestial, standing closer behind her. "If I may, I have something to say."
"Speak," Magdalena replied, allowing the maid to say what she wanted to say.
"Forgive my impertinence, but what Lady Celestial says has a point. This is her marriage to Prince Moran, after all. It's a once-in-a-lifetime marriage that Lady Celestial has been dreaming of for a long time. What she said is what she wants as His Majesty asked," Odette said which made Celestial feel a little excited.
She turned to Odette and as if smiling thanked her personal maid. Odette returned her smile followed by a small nod.
At that moment, Moran also opened his mouth.
"What Odette said is true. This is my wedding as well as Celestial's. I want it to be memorable and in accordance with what Celestial has dreamed of all this time. If we prioritize luxury to be seen by other kingdoms, it would be like a political wedding for me and Celestial," replied Celestial's fiancé who immediately grasped her hand.
Magdalena agreed with Moran's answer because marriage is the dream of a woman who wants to look beautiful like a princess. What Celestial wished for was what she had wanted all along and marriage was the realization of her dream.
"The two of them are already very perfect as a couple, this should be followed by marriage as they wish. Please consider this my husband," she told Harold.
Not only that, even Roxarion also said that this was his sister's wedding and he knew how and what Celestial liked.
"I beg you to rethink this, I know a big party is very important for the kingdom. But isn't marriage the dream of a girl and she is my younger sister, Celestial."
Seeing that one by one they began to agree with Celestial's words, made Eleanor feel that she was being pushed back down because she was losing her voice. Even when Jayden attempted to speak again, Crown Prince Delon stopped him.
"This is the wedding of Moran as well as Celestial. Father asked for Celestial's opinion as the bride and Moran's as the groom. Beyond that, it's best not to comment much," he said sternly.
"What's wrong if I want to say something? This will concern my kingdom too," Jayden said with some annoyance and then sipped his tea.
Eleanor also felt that she just wanted to help her stepsister have the best wedding possible because as she said, it was a once-in-a-lifetime marriage.
"I just want the best for my sister, is that wrong? Celestial may want a simple wedding, but don't you want a big wedding because this won't happen again to you later?" she asked Celestial.
However, this question was responded to by Lexion who asked Eleanor not to think about it either, because he was sure Celestial's decision was what she wanted. Knowing that, she fell silent again, and in the end Celestial responded again.
She knew she had to say something in front of them to show that she was a woman who accepted all comments.
"Thank you very much for your advice, sister. However, all I want is to be with the man I love. And if you say a big wedding is a good thing, why not make it your own later on? You're going to marry someone too, right?" asked Celestial, which made Eleanor gasp in surprise.
The pink-haired woman smiled slightly at the answer from Celestial, even though in her heart she felt somewhat annoyed and unhappy with the answer.
Especially Celestial who mentioned about her marriage to someone who she herself did not know who she would marry. Could it be a nobleman from another kingdom, a nobleman who has a lower position than her family or perhaps someone she has started to notice lately.
Her blue eyes noticed the man sitting close to Celestial. Noting how he was smiling and talking to everyone.
"Well then, I will begin to consider your options for a lovely wedding feast. As my wife said, the wedding vows are the most important thing in this marriage as well as the seriousness of you two," King Harold said after listening to the debate between them.
After a brief discussion about Celestial and Moran's marriage, they then decided to return to their respective residences before dark.
As before, Celestial rode a horse together with Roxarion until they arrived at the Mansion. Before dismounting, her brother reminded Celestial to be more careful.
"I saw Eleanor keep looking at Moran while we were talking and drinking tea. I don't understand what's on her mind, but you better keep Moran away from her," said the Roxarion warning his little sister to be more careful.
"Alright I see, thank you for reminding me, Arion." Celestial nodded her head, beginning to understand and it became a note for her to keep Moran away from Eleanor.
The woman then went back to her room to rest, but before entering the room, someone called out to her which made Celestial stop and turn her head towards someone who was at the end of the hallway of her room.
"Celestial wait!"
It turned out to be Eleanor who then walked over while slightly lifting the dress she was wearing and approached Celestial.
'What else could she be calling me now? Just now she seemed to be trying to humiliate me in front of everyone and now she's calling me,' she thought at the time but she couldn't show a face if she wasn't happy and pretentiously, she smiled at Eleanor.
"Oh Eleanor, what's wrong with calling me? I was just about to retire to my room but you stopped me. Is there something important you want to talk about right now?" she asked with a gentle smile on her face.
She was standing right in front of her, trying to catch her breath after running down the hall to meet her. Eleanor then suddenly grasped both of Celestial's hands and apologized for what she had done during the family discussion.
"I didn't mean to say anything like that, or make you feel bad in front of them. I just want the best for you! I want everyone to see how beautiful my sister was at her wedding, a big, fancy wedding that everyone attended!" she said trying to get an apology from Celestial.
Hearing that, Celestial shook her head saying that she was not angry because of Eleanor's previous words.
"I know you always want the best for me and I thank you for that. You are indeed my best sister," she replied and Eleanor hugged Celestial.
"Thank you Celestial."
Although they hugged each other, both Celestial and Eleanor did not seem very sincere about hugging or each other. Celestial, who knew that this was the beginning of the story in the novel where Eleanor began to seek his attention.
Meanwhile, Eleanor seemed to be planning something behind her apology.
'I won't let you get away with this.'
