Malachi sat in front of his computer, his eyes fixated on the screen. "We need to see if we can find any information about Sarah."
Vivian nodded in approval. "But, how do you plan to do that?"
Malachi smiles, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Leave that to me. I have my ways."
Malachi opened a new tab on his computer and navigated to a reverse search engine. He uploaded the picture of Sarah, one he had extracted from the footage.
Vivian watched with interest as Malachi worked his magic. "What's that?" She asked, pointing to the search engine.
"It's a reverse image search engine," Malachi explained. "It allows us to upload a picture and find other instances of that picture online."
Vivian's eyes widened in amazement. "That's incredible. I had no idea such technology existed."
Malachi smiled. "There's a lot you don't know about the modern world, Vivian."
The search engine whirred to life, searching the depths of the internet for any matches. After a few moments, it returned a list of results.
Malachi scanned through the results, his eyes narrowing as he searched for any clues about Sarah's identity or whereabouts. Vivian watched with bated breath as Malachi's eyes scanned the screen.
And then, suddenly, Malachi's eyes locked onto something. "I've got it." He said, his voice low and triumphant.
Vivian leaned forward, her eyes scanning the screen. "What is it?" She asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Malachi smiled. "It's a social media profile," He said. "And it belongs to Sarah."
Vivian's eyes widened in amazement. "That's incredible," She said. "How did you do it?"
Malachi shrugged, his smile growing wider. "It's all about knowing the right tools and techniques." He said.
Vivian nodded, her eyes locked onto the screen. "So, what can we learn from her social profile?" She asked.
Malachi leaned forward, his eyes scanning the screen. "Let's see," He said. "According to her profile. She's a 25 year-old freelancer, partnered with Aiden Tech Media, located at 123 West 34th Street, Suite 400. Now, we have a lead. Since we already have her workplace address, we can plan our next move." He said.
Vivian nodded, her brow furrowed in thought. "But, we can't just walk into her workplace during the day. We'd suffer the wrath of the sun. We could have investigated her workplace last night but you were busy fucking that witch." Her last statement reeked with jealousy.
Malachi's eyes locked onto Vivian's, a hint of amusement dancing in their depths. He leaned back in his chair, stippling his fingers together.
"Ah, Vivian. Didn't I dismiss you last night? It was just business. Nothing more, nothing less. Why did you hang around?" He questioned, his gaze intense.
Vivian's eyes flashed with anger, but Malachi continued, his voice calm and even. "Besides, I think we have more pressing matters to attend to. Like capturing Sarah."
Malachi's gaze never wavered from Vivian's, his eyes boring into hers as he spoke. He was reminding her of their priorities, and of his authority.
Vivian's anger slowly dissipated, replaced by a calculating glint in her eye. She nodded, her expression smooth once more. "So, what's the plan?"
Malachi leaned back in his chair. "We'll need to wait till sunset. Possibly around 6pm. Maybe we can catch her leaving the building or heading home."
Vivian nodded, a plan forming in her mind. "Seems like we'll capture this human successfully. I just hope that mysterious man doesn't show up."
Malachi chuckled, his fangs glinting in the background. "Our Circle has about three hundred vampires. For this mission, we'll be rounding up twenty vampires. They will surround the building. And, even if that mysterious guy shows up, I don't think he can resist our force."
Malachi's plan was set in motion. As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the city, Malachi and Vivian, alongside twenty vampires, made their way to Sarah's workplace.
They arrived just as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the city in a dark shadow. They moved through the streets with ease, their supernatural speed and agility allowing them to navigate the crowded sidewalks with ease.
They took up positions across the street from the building, watching as people filed out of the office tower. They waited patiently, their eyes scanning the crowds for any sign of Sarah.
"I don't see her," Vivian said, her voice low and husky. "Maybe she's working late."
Malachi's eyes narrowed. "I don't think so. She's a freelancer, remember? She sets her own hours."
Vivian nodded. "Right. So, what's the plan if she doesn't show up?"
Malachi's smile was cold. "We'll just go in and get her. We can't let her slip through our fingers."
Just as Malachi finished speaking, a figure emerged from the building. It was Sarah, looking tired but relieved to be heading home.
Malachi's eyes locked onto Sarah as she walked down the sidewalk. She was even more beautiful in person, with piercing emerald eyes and shoulder-length blonde hair.
As they watched, Sarah hailed a taxi and climbed inside. Malachi and Vivian exchanged a look, moving swiftly through the crowded streets, along with their subordinates. They quickened their pace, their supernatural speed allowing them to keep up with the vehicle.
But just as they were about to catch up, the taxi finally suddenly swerved off the main road and into a narrow alleyway.
Malachi and Vivian followed, their eyes fixed on the taxi as it came to a stop. But as they approached, they realized that something was off. The taxi driver, who had been seemingly ordinary just moments before, was now transforming into a snarling werewolf.
Sarah, who had been sitting in the backseat, let out a terrified scream as the werewolf driver turned to her and slammed his fist into her jaw.
She slumped forward, unconscious, as the werewolf driver let out a triumphant howl.
Malachi and others exchanged a furious glance. They had been outmaneuvered by the werewolves, and now Sarah was in their clutches.
With a snarl, Malachi launched himself at the taxi, but the werewolf was too quick. He peeled out of the alleyway as soon as Malachi's claws scratched the taxi, tearing away some metal parts.
The vampires sprinted through the streets, their supernatural speed allowing them to keep up with the taxi. But as they ran, Malachi couldn't shake off the feeling that they were in over their heads. The werewolf seemed to be one step of them at every turn.
As they turned around a corner, Malachi caught sight of the taxi again. It was heading towards the outskirts of the city, and Malachi knew that if they didn't catch up soon, they might lose Sarah forever.
With a fierce determination, Malachi increased his speed, Vivian and others right behind him. They were gaining on the taxi, but Malachi knew they couldn't keep this up for much longer. Suddenly, a group of snarling werewolves emerged from the shadows, blocking their path. The werewolves were huge and menacing, their eyes glowing with a fierce and feral light.
Malachi and Vivian skidded to a stop, their eyes locked on the werewolves. Behind them, the twenty vampires fanned out, forming a defensive circle around their leaders. The werewolves numbered about forty, they clearly outnumbered the vampires.
