Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

In the middle of the night, the icy cold wind blows, carrying with it a breathtaking silence that envelops the deep forest. The shiny rays of the moon pierce through the darkness, casting a soft glow that makes the path slightly visible, guiding the way through the shadows. The stillness is profound, interrupted only by the occasional rustle of leaves, as if the forest itself is holding its breath, waiting for something to unfold.

A girl wearing a floral white gown was running toward the deep forest, glancing back behind her. She didn't care about the injuries on her legs as she ran, her hair was messy, her eyes were full of fear, and her breath was heavy. It seemed like something was chasing her.

Suddenly she bumped into something, and her eyes flew open. Adjusting her vision, she started searching the surroundings. A beautiful modern accent ceiling hung above her, adorned with intricate geometric patterns and soft, ambient lighting that created a serene atmosphere. She felt a cozy softness beneath her, realizing she was in a familiar place—her own bedroom. "Again, Same Nightmare" She wishperd...

The sunlight streamed through the curtains, casting warm patterns on the walls. Confusion washed over her as she tried to understand how she had gotten there. The memories of running and the fear that gripped her moments before felt distant, like a fading dream.

But then it hit her—it was her nightmare that had been hunting her, a relentless shadow that seemed to follow her even in her waking moments. She took a deep breath, trying to shake off the lingering fear, but the feeling of being chased still clung to her like a heavy fog.

She slowly walked towards the curtains, her heart racing as she feared the shadows might be watching her from behind. With trembling hands, she grasped the fabric, pulling it aside with cautious anticipation. Suddenly, something burst forth, and she screamed, her voice echoing in the room.

To her surprise, a cute little furry dog bounded out, wagging its tail excitedly. It began licking her feet and nuzzling against her legs, its playful barks filling the air with a sweet melody. The fear that had gripped her moments before melted away as she bent down to pet "Leo" a soft voice came from her mouth with a smile, feeling a rush of warmth and comfort wash over her.

As she stepped out of her front door, the crisp morning air filled her lungs, and a mix of excitement and anxiety bubbled within her. Today was her first day of high school, a significant milestone that felt both thrilling and daunting. She glanced at her reflection in the hallway mirror, adjusting her backpack and smoothing down her outfit—a light sweater and jeans that made her feel both comfortable and confident. Her almond-shaped eyes sparkled with anticipation, framed by thin eyebrows that arched gently above them. The vibrant ocean blue of her irises reflected the excitement she felt, while her rosy lips curled into a soft smile.

Before stepping out, she had hurried through breakfast with her single mom, who was just as nervous. "You're going to do great, honey," her mom said, pouring a glass of orange juice. "Just be yourself, and you'll make friends in no time."

"I know, Mom, but what if no one talks to me?" she replied, glancing at the clock, realizing they were running late.

Her mom smiled reassuringly. "Trust me, everyone feels the same way. Just smile and say hello. You've got this!"

Walking through the bustling hallways, she could hear the chatter of students, laughter echoing off the walls. The vibrant lockers painted in various colors added to the lively atmosphere. She took a deep breath, reminding herself that everyone was just as nervous as she was. As she navigated through the crowd, she spotted familiar faces from middle school, offering a reassuring smile to a few friends who waved her over.

With each step, she felt her confidence growing, ready to embrace this new chapter in her life. The nerves that had once gripped her began to fade, replaced by a sense of belonging and the promise of new friendships waiting to be formed. She was ready to make her mark in this exciting new world.

As she walked through the bustling school corridor, her mind was lost in thoughts of the day ahead. Suddenly, a pair of hands covered her eyes, and she felt a rush of confusion. "Found you, guess who?" a deep, playful voice echoed.

Her heart raced, caught off guard. The laughter and chatter around her faded away, leaving her in a bubble of uncertainty. Who could it be? The thrill of the unknown sent shivers down her spine. She could feel the warmth of the hands still resting over her eyes, and the world around her seemed to hold its breath in anticipation.

"Just guess already!" the voice urged, a hint of mischief in it. The moment hung in the air, charged with possibilities. What would happen when she finally turned around? Would it be a surprise, or something more? ..
