Chapter-21: first to kill the shark
It is as if it wanted to bite her head off.
Mohini did not blink her eyes and when the distance is close she pulled the digging iron rod in front of her with the sharp edge pointing towards the shark's mouth.
"Suuukkk…"
The sharp edge of the digging tool plunged into the mouth of the shark and pierced into its flesh.
Originally the rod just went in and when there is a flesh obstacle it pierced inside while pushing the Mohini back along with the raft.
Mohini on the other hand took out the gun and aimed it straight at the head part of the shark.

For this she cannot put the shark in the space because the shark is constantly being monitored by the system.
Also because of the shark attacks the life points of her raft has reduced by 40 points for 2 attacks of the shark.
The raft is shaking and part of the raft is damaged.
She doesn't worry about that because she can repair it as long as there are few units of wood and survival points.
She did the same in the last life.
Unless all the life points of the raft are completely reached the bottom, nothing will happen to the raft.
Similarly the shark will not die unless the life bar on its head reaches zero.
Till then its strength would not completely disappear.
But if it is specific part is damage then it is a permanent damage.
That is if she is fighting a goblin and broke or cut off its hands or leg then it is completely gone.
The health would also drop rapidly but the arm or leg is useless.
If she did a fatal injury like damaging the gills of the shark it would be fatal and the life points would drop slowly till it dies.
If it received a treatment in time then it can still be saved.
The health points upper limit changes based on the extent of damage calculated by the system.
The gun shot just now took more than half of the health of the shark.
Also the previous attack with the digging tool also did 20 percent of the damage.

All Mohini has to do is to hold on to the digging rod and wear out the shark.
She sighed that the bullet from the gun at close range did not work.
Even though it created a terrible damage it did not work on instantly killing the shark.
To be precise it did not hit the vital part to instantly kill the shark.
Any way she did not just hold the digging tool but also pulled another digging tool with a rope attached to it.
She directly plunged it into the injured area caused by the bulled with all her strength.
The previous attack might not have pierced all the way inside but this attack would cause more damage.
So within few seconds the shark died under the continuous attacks.
As soon as she killed the shark there is an announcement.
"Congratulations to survival player Mohini for being the first player to kill the shark.
You will be rewarded with a hidden reward."
Not only Mohini received the message but everyone received the message.
They did not expect that someone would be faster than them.
Most people did not listen to this announcement because they are struggling to survive.
The ones that listened to the announcement are the ones that are fighting with the shark.
They also wanted to kill the shark but it is not as easy as Mohini even with tools.
Their situation is an unexpected battle.
Mohini's situation is an expected battle with full preparations.
She killed the shark in less than 1 minute from the initial attack of the shark.
Even for other races it is hard thing to happen.
Mohini did not stay there instead she dragged the shark along with her to row the raft towards the island nearby.
On the island there is only one coconut tree, a reef rock and a bunch of sand.
She did not immediately decompose the shark because doing that would drop a treasure chest and it might fall into the waters.
