Follow the story of several protagonists dealing with different sides of a Hougu War to come! Synopsis: In a post pole shift world, divinely-powered artifacts known as “Hougu” had been traversing dimensions, appearing in the material world and enticing many to seek them for making tall fortunes, attaining great powers, building fame, and so on. As Kamui STAR had been ravaged with seeming civil wars—dubbed Hougu Wars—cyclically occurring every few decades, all in pursuit of these magical treasures by all sorts of groups, certain characters grapple with their presence, one of them coming across a sentient sword claiming to be a Sacred Hougu. The Wars would soon begin and they’d find themselves unable to keep their distance, choosing sides for better or worse. This is a TTRPG turned novel featuring 7 protagonists, with the 8th to come in Act 2, using the system of Tokyo NOVA. Characters will be shown interacting with the bizarre “megaplex” they call Kamui STAR, the capital megalopolis of a country boasting a mesh of various ethnic groups, but mostly Japanese and Russians. Instead of forming a party of their own, the protagonists would each take the side of a group in the upcoming Hougu Wars. ______________________ Note: Like most of my works, this is a slow-paced series that takes its sweet time setting things up. However, as it turns out, the journey is more than a quest of vengeance and will lead to the revelation of secrets concerning the very origin of their world and an even more threatening evil.

Mankind’s time on earth looked as though it was about to an end when HIRUDOSHI, The God Slayers, the kamui came down on a dragon to vanquish Azalos. Their battle was fierce, it tore apart the clouds, turned the sky blood red and made the earth shake. The battle had gone on for days with no end in sight, but then in an attempt to destroy Hirudoshi, Azalos released a powerful blast that destroyed Santon city (HOME OF HIRUDOSHI). Hirudoshi survived and although all seemed lost for him, he decided to sacrifice himself to win the battle against Azalos. He used the last of his power after a long and hard battle to attack Azalos, and in a bright flash of light, Azalos along with Hirudoshi vanished off the face of the Earth. As the bright flash of light diminished, a giant emerald emerged out of the ground, it is believed to be a gift from Hirudoshi, a symbol of hope for generations to come. That emerald became a monument in what was once Hirudoshi’s home town, now known as EMERALD CITY. It is told, that before Hirudoshi encountered the virus scourge, he left a message, a last wish to his people: That all slayers lead a world of peace, and this is a story of the people who will do that.
