"Augustus left?" Melissa frowned, her eyes dancing from left to right. She blinked and shook her head, relaxing in her seat, glaring at them man standing before her, "Very bad."
She sat in a massive throne, holding a silver cup in her hands and staring into it with a deep calculative gleam in her eyes, wind blowing in the room from the open windows.
As the curtains fluttered in the gushing wind, Melissa spun the cup in her hand and raised it to her lips, lifting a brow. The man, Henry, stood with his hands behind his back.
"I thought he'd be kind enough to allow you a formal farewell, but I guess I was quite wrong." Henry, who'd witnessed firsthand when Augustus left, reported back to Melissa.
"I'd have no idea if you hadn't told me." Melissa clicked her tongue. The wind caressed her skin through her revealing loose robes, reaching to the end of the steps leading to her.
