Augustus walked in the direction of the loud sounds, his blade held tight in his hands as he weaved through the trees and bushes, cutting down anything that blocked his path.
On his way towards what he guessed to be the Rot Chief, a massive one-eyed beast at the heart of Oelae, he came across a couple Ryuk. They hovered in the air, trailing his ass.
Seeing them, counting about four in total, Augustus felt a headache arriving, "They're all flying. I can't hit any of them if I start a fight from this distance. I have to wait a bit."
Sadly for Augustus, the longer he waited, the deeper he dived into enemy territory and the more dangerous it became for him. He glanced from side to side, his pupils narrowed.
Masses of flesh crawled around in the darkness, behaving as if he hadn't noticed. The Ryuk circled behind him, while the rot in the forest ahead thickened at a terrifying pace.
