'Now I am 14 which means I have 4 years till high school end..in previous life I couldn't have a college life even though I got admission, simply due to breakup and my parents death.'
'..Now that I have been reborn, should I shout out [ Heaven can't control me, god can't control me my fate is upto myself..I will get my revenge, young masters..] naah, it's lame...looks like my mortal body is affecting my thought patterns..it's very easy to become the arrogant '
' As per usual situations in my guide [ novels ], I will go to a public place to cultivate, a night of practice entered qi cultivation, pretend to be master, mocked by some simpletons, treat an old one, obtain money and associations use that to get out of situations when I pretend to be a tiger... found a fiance and goes on....'
' Of course, if cultivation were that easier, I would have become immortal emperor within 100 years in my last life...every cultivator would start to learn about human body structure and acupoint and pressure distribution and common knowledge for about 10 years age before he get start with body training..which would take a year for a super genius to usual 5 years for average ones with heaven and earth treasures or pills. Each major sublevel advancement requires as much energy refinement as progressing from the start to the peak of the previous level.'
'All that happened in my first life already did and this is a new time line and people are different but mostly same apart from some influence from myself. I don't have to hold grudges for a crime and hate one did not have done yet..'
While looking at Xu Qing, who was joking with her girlfriends, I thought ' Should I alienate completely, no that would make her follow me around and pester me..if she want to know about my changes..she knows about me from childhood.'
While classes were over, today is the weekend..I waited at the exit talking with Fan Qing while waiting for our school bus. Xu Qing came to me.." So Chen'er are we going to shopping outside just like you proposed yesterday?"
"...Did I say that? About that, I would be going to home directly..I feel like I have some stomach pain"
" Stomach pain, ..You? You are the healthiest person I know..If you don't want to come just say it directly..." She pouted. School bus came and we entered. She sat on the side seat adjacent to myself. During the way home, I asked Xu Qing," Qing'er,.."
" Hmm what is it?"
" Do you have any aspirations like what you want to become in the future?"
" Hmm..I want to be a pop singer...no I want to be a CEO.. What about you?"
"Well, I was thinking more along the lines of becoming an entrepreneur and later staring a company or so..."
" Pfff...don't worry I will give you a role when I become a CEO."
....
While thinking about all sorts of things, Han Chen returned home. Zhao Lin would only arrive by next year in senior high school, where in which she would start having interest in him while treating Han Chen like an ATM.
'Meeting my first parents was a tearful event but I hid my emotions well. It was my most free and easygoing years being with them...Spending some time with them and eating dinner, I got a bit of free time for myself. A happy smile unconsciously formed in my face.
The most important thing is to quietly gain power and unlock my artefact. For which I would need some internal energy and spiritual sense. If there were any spiritual energy here, it would have been nice. But I sensed all day long and not a speck of energy remains. Which also means there is no energy veins in my body simply because body has no need to conduit spiritual energy, which is even worse than mortals in cultivation world.
From my family, I know martial arts exists. My mother is transform jin while, my father is dark jin realm, which I could sense through system profile of them. My grandpa is also at peak of dark jin, if any of them were a master, they would not have perished in my previous life.
I would need to start from martial arts reach a higher realm and then condense spiritual veins, which means I would need to reach higher than land immortal realm...that's a long way off. Even though heavenly way has not formed inside this planet, I could still sense way of great Dao simply due to my immortal consciousness and my familiarity with it.
But I may need to reach qi channeling at ming jin to truly exercise cultivation of dao.'
With this in my mind, stood up from my seat, visualizes myself in position inside my mind. A complete meridian map and muscle structure and blood flow structures are being formed just by listening to blood flow and feeling the movement of body. For inexperienced cultivators techniques forms the way but for some special cases like mine, way forms the technique..Gradually, every breathing pattern, movement and muscle coordination became absolutely natural and inevitable.
"The Tao does nothing but nothing is left undone."
"Inhale the vastness of the cosmos, exhale the silence of the void.
With each breath, gather the essence of life,
With each release, dissolve the ties to the mortal world.
Let the breath harmonize the balance of Yin and Yang,
For in the stillness of the breath, the Dao reveals its path."
" The mountain stands firm, the river flows free,
One cannot exist without the other;
So too must the cultivator balance strength with softness,
Force with surrender, mind with heart.
Seek not the extremes, but the center,
Where power resides in patience and tranquility."
" The Qi flows where the mind leads,
A river guided by the hand of the Dao.
Do not chase the wind, but become one with it;
Let the heart soften, and the body will follow.
The great path is invisible to the eyes,
Yet in every step, the heavens and earth can be felt."
With his incomparable experiences and comprehension, he soon found the optimum body control movement, stepping, boxing and breathing pattern associated which he simply named as human body exercise.
One should understand that, this is coming from immortal reborn who is known for his enlightenment and knowledge. The exercises continued for about 5 hours. The food he ate and remaining fat and excess energy remained in his body were consumed and merged with human biome in almost its entirety. There was no muscle tension or exhaustion but simply he took some mental effort, sweat a lot and felt little empty in stomach. So cleaned up again and went to kitchen in the middle of the night and found some choclates and cookies and went back to sleep.
Days continues and after a month of relieing on energy drinks, vitamins, meat and regular consumables he reached Body Conditioning, feeding vitality, Muscle Empowerment realm he devised for human cultivation to stand at pinnacle of a regular mortal. Han Chen had explosive growth during this month. His height had increased about 10cms and his body has explosive muscles and every movement has a natural elegance, his depth of his eyes showing profound depth of insight and maturity simply making him stand out among his classmates..it didn't go unnoticed by people around him.
He had to deal with many new loveletters from girls and even some fans from boys. Looking at the stiff and jealous Xu Qing, his mood was very good. This was also a method of revenge in a harmless way. His parents are martial artists so they also noticed.
While at home his mom and dad called him to a meeting.
" Chen'er, are you practising our Han family's martial arts technique dad practises?"
" Yeah, sort of..... Look you both are practising every day early morning, I have found it many times and is familiar with it."
" ....Son don't do that kind of stupid thing again ok..the way of martial arts needs precise guidance and who knows how one would mess it up and do it wrongly? It will cause internal bleeding or some hidden diseases."
"...hmm okk.." 'Look I know ok...I simply can't act smart infront of my parents.'
"Anyway, we thought you could get started at your 15th age. But since you look like you had your final growth spurt and its okay if it's an year early."
Later on after some scolding, dad made him answer the physique knowledge one must know and practise which he easily picked up and parents eventually accepted that he was a martial arts genius.
" Son, talent & luck determines 75% rest is your hardwork... It took Dad about 10 years to get to ming jin and I am still at dark jin at mid 30s....well it's thank to family troubles and study, job issues..not entirely due to bad talent. While your mother just took 10 years to reach transform jin under my guidance...I am not jealous...ok. " Looking at dad's more and more stiff face as he explains more, I felt a like laughing a little which got me a smack in my head.
" Enough about that, martial artists uses variety of medicinal materials to speed up this process. So we are using this in our diet. You only received it in moderations because of you didn't practise, that would be too much for your body to handle and remember, other than luck, talent, money others are harmful. And most importantly this is family secret and we shouldn't spread it, or God knows how will our main branch react otherwise.."
From that day, he received a medicinal diet that helped him enter skin refinement. Martial arts in this world, inspired by animal movements, evolved over centuries from "may help" to "it works" to "near perfect." Yet, flaws remain, especially in bridging the gap to ming jin, as no foundational body refinement exists.
Han Chen's perfect body, with awakened meridians and relaxed acupoints from prior immortal energy, accelerated his skin, blood, and bone refinement over 5 months. His consciousness descended later in his life than when his potential was judged by a powerful family master. So he was treated like just another ordinary talent. Using his self-refined Human Body Exercise, he maximized results with minimal effort, achieving about 20% refinement—far from true immortal qi refinement, but enough to ease entry into ming jin.
While cultivating, he delved into human knowledge, spending free time in the school library and reading scientific articles to keep up with times. This kept him from blurting out not yet proven scientific or future facts which he knew. So he confidently boosted his grades, rising from above average to first in class. Nicknamed a nerd, his reputation shifted during sports events, where he just tried one or two sports and conveniently won and enough to get him necessary activity points.
Through this, he met juniors and seniors practicing martial arts, mostly from prominent families. Even so, such students numbered only a handful in a school of 4,000.
He needed money, but time was on his side. Legal sources, however, required guardian permission, limiting his options. Worse, his intervention had changed history. Xu Qing now courted him, but his thoughts were fixed on the girl he married in his past life. Saving her was a necessity to avoid a future heart demon, but it brought complications.
"My intervention changed history. There's no guarantee she'll be mine now."
"Even if it's possible, I'd need to follow history—let Grandpa die, let her accident happen—or take the 'dragon king return' path: become a medical saint, gain reputation, build companies, and force the main branch to call us back. But then the family loses their leverage to marry me off to a vegetable."
"Fighting, scheming, caution—avoiding her accident is only the start. She'll still be engaged to my cousin unless I counter two major families. And even if I succeed, why would someone like her choose me? She valued her family above all else until they abandoned her and left her care to her husband."
"Make her fall for me? Sure. But she's in another city. As a 14-year-old, I'd have to reach her, win her over against young masters who'd use any means, and even then, one engagement decision from the main branch would break it all. She's too loyal to family until they discard her, leaving her to regret it all."
" Hey no wonder, the novel protagonists act as thick headed and just beat up opponents inviting stronger ones and beating them up too and getting harem of beauties. It's too difficult to think this through but yeah the process involved is ... degrading. Why create so much moral ties?..."
" Even though heavenly dao doesn't exist but intangible luck and causality exist. My luck will be higher as a part of it is brought upon my descent to this world. So favorable outcomes can be expected.
I am no saint. I can't save everyone. Moreover, this is my reality now, I can't just be an observer even though I can refine the heart demon why bother creating the troubles for yourself.. Even my original cause and effect would have be rewritten if I am power enough as a source consciousness the system said. "
" Let's things play. Let me gather strength first."
