Selene was in an unfamiliar but very period room, but knowing she was in the late 18th century, it was understandable. Someone had picked her up and helped her, and she even felt as if she had been dressed in new clothes.
"Right, the missions," she said quietly to herself before visualizing the missions she had and could do.
But first, she checked her profession, it didn't show much new except for a new passive, which partly explained why she felt a difference in her body.
[New Moon lvl Max: Darkness-related skills get a slight upgrade and improve the affinity to darkness (this skill can only be upgraded by the hunter herself, each upgrade derives new aspects)].
I'm what every nervous 15-year-old doing their OC wants, even if this is powerful, I can't help but feel a little cringe,' she thought to herself before finally looking at the missions.

[Reward: 1000 Paradise Coins]
[Penalty: None]
After accepting the side quests and receiving a message from Mark about what the Paradise Coin was and its usefulness, Selene got out of bed.
Perhaps it was the squeak of the floor as she sat up, but a moment later there was a knock at the bedroom door.
"Are you awake? We found you in the street with bloodstains and scanty clothes, so we brought you here. Will you let me in?" a soft female voice came from the other side, catching Selene's attention.
"Come in," she said, she had no reason to keep the person who had helped her from entering, and besides, she wanted to know and ask many things, so she needed this dialogue.
The door opened and a young blonde girl entered, from Selene's memories she knew that she was standing in front of one of the main characters of the first part of Jojo's, she may not have fought, but she was one of the pillars of the story.
Erina Pendleton, a kind and good-hearted young woman, but with a lot of determination in her. She may be a lady, but that doesn't take away from her being one of those 'cool' women.
I mean, when Dio forcibly kissed her, she washed her mouth out with stagnant water because it was less disgusting than the young man's attempt to make Jonathan feel betrayed. That was damn good for Selene.
"I see you've recovered, though I don't understand, you had blood all over your body but no wounds," the young Erina approached Selene and began to check the woman's condition.
"Are you a foreigner? You have a peculiar color of hair," Erina pointed out Selene's greenish hair, and although it was somewhat rude, it was a necessary comment in the context of the situation.
"More or less, and the blood thing... it was a small accident, I was fighting something, I didn't understand what, but it wasn't human," Selene said, choosing her words well, for she had heard the heavy footsteps of someone near the entrance to the room.
If her guess was correct... a huge hand was the first thing she saw, before she saw a man almost 2 meters tall, with brown hair, bulging muscles, and surprisingly a very friendly face.
Although it was obvious that he was no longer injured, his stride showed the strength within him, like an imposing tower in motion. Selene also noticed that the man's pectoral muscles were even more prominent than her breasts, which made her envious.
'Strange, not that I have ever felt such envy in my previous life,' Selene thought as she noticed this strange phenomenon about herself.
Her emotions, as well as her feelings, were... strange, when she saw Erina, the first thing she thought of was not how pure the young thing was, but how great it would look to undress her and make her moan.
That, coupled with the envy she felt for Jonathan at the moment, made her realize that her feelings were getting a bit out of hand, and although she was able to keep them in check for the moment, she felt that repression was slowly becoming less and less of an option.
"Sorry to barge in unannounced, but you said the blood in your body was from fighting an unknown entity?" asked Jonathan a little worried, wanting to know more about Selene's situation.
"Jojo, it seems that she has encountered the problems caused by the mask," a voice from the window attracted everyone's attention, and a man in white clothes and an extravagant hat was sitting on the edge of the window, but Selene could swear that he hadn't been there recently.
"Girl, you're safe now, tell us what you found," the man suggested, who else but William Zeppeli, who had great stealth skills?
"Okay..." Selene wasn't sure she could come up with a convincing story that would fool a Hamon master... that is if we were to use experience.
Disguise wasn't just clothes and make-up, controlling your body wasn't just doing difficult stretches, besides... technically she was 'confronting' a foreign entity, she was just stretching the truth to serve her desired purpose.
Some might call that lying, she called it the 'Transitive Property of Truth', so she began to tell them a little story about how she'd met a stranger last night and how she'd ended up on this path before passing out under the tree.
"It seems that Dio Brando has been using the powers given to him by the mask to wreak havoc," thought Zeppeli, who had no sympathy for the vampire.
He had seen firsthand how horrible such a creature could be, and apparently, the transformation the blonde had undergone had been particularly extraordinary; if he didn't know the history of the mask makers, he would swear that Dio was the perfect example of the horrible things such an artifact was capable of.
"Baron Zeppeli, do you think she could help us fight? Although it is unseemly for a gentleman to let a woman fight, I can sense strength in her, you should too," Jojo said suddenly, making Selene go a little numb.
Was this the protagonists' 'sixth sense'? How fucked up was Jojo's sensitivity to notice her 'extraordinary' strength? Compared to normal humans, she was a 'female Tyrannosaurus', but to notice it at a glance, since she barely had a trace of muscles, was certainly something extraordinary.
"Hmm..." Zeppeli approached Selene and looked at her critically as if judging something.
"Miss Selene, may I take your pulse?" Not to forget the roots of Zeppeli's knowledge, he is not only an academic, but he traveled all over the world researching methods that would serve him against vampires and even trained in Tibet, so he knew the principles of 'taking the pulse' to diagnose like those traditional Chinese doctors.
"Strange, very strange," Zeppeli said, catching a glimpse from the corner of his eye of the beam of light coming through the window and falling on Selene's hand, causing her frown to crease even further.
'She doesn't react to sunlight, but why do I feel this terrible dark aura around her? She doesn't look like one of those crazy monsters, and she's certainly not an old witch, she's too beautiful for that' Zeppeli had a lot of doubts in his mind right now, because what he perceived and what he saw were contradictory.
Yes, Selene had incredible strength within her, she even had the 'right' and natural proportions he had ever seen in nature, she possessed incomparable beauty, her bones were in the best possible place, and her skin was fair, as her training partners would say 'a jade beauty that brings down kingdoms', but...
She radiated a terrible dark aura, like a bottomless abyss. At first, he thought it was the lingering sensation from a zombie encounter, so he didn't interfere with Jojo and Erina when they helped her.
But when he had 0 distance from her, he could feel it, a terrible power was running through this woman's veins, in a trance, he thought he saw a red mist, like blood, and under that mist, something dark was looking at him. Nevertheless, he concentrated on it and noticed something else.
Although this aura was 'dark, corrupt and illusory', it was not tainted, yes, it was something strange, but it was too 'pure', so to speak. Hamon Masters have strange abilities, some can even predict the future, and some people in this world have rather strange 'guardian spirits'.
He once tried to get one of them, but when he learned that it was usually a family or spontaneous power, he gave up, and that's when he stumbled upon the exploits of the Hamon.
"The power of the Sendo or Hamon is very 'sunny' for you, young Selene, but you have untapped potential that we could bring out, and besides, I'm not only good at this skill," Zeppeli said, showing small golden sparks in his hands.
Coincident or not, he was still holding Selene's arm, but when he noticed that the sun's energy wasn't hurting her, he realized that there was nothing evil about the woman, so he let go.
"I guess thank you... although I don't understand what Hamon is," she said with an uncertain tone as if she was hearing the term for the first time, it was all a facade, and she kept a surprised face while being told about the capabilities of this energy, her mind exploded.
'Isn't the Hamon a counterpart to the rays of the sun!!!? Then... why does it feel so good?' she thought madly as things finally calmed down.
As far as she remembered, Jonathan only trained for about 2 or 3 weeks, and even though she had a month to complete her missions, she didn't want to wait until the last minute. But she wanted to use this time to train, yes, she needed to train and get to know her body better.
She also needed to explore her methods and digest all the things she had received thanks to her inspiration, as well as ask Zeppeli for a way to deal with her ever-growing emotions. She didn't want to become a slave to them.
She also had some crazy ideas, which she gradually discarded. She wanted to have a stand, but who knew if she was capable of awakening one because even though it had a human appearance, she wasn't .... and even though even animals (and a plant cat) could have stands, she didn't know if it would work on her.
Add to that the fact that he didn't know where the arrows were - yes, they were in Egypt, but in a random ruin, and well, do you know how many ruins there are in that place? Although there are fragments of the meteorite containing the Stand Catalyst virus in Greenland, she didn't think she could find one of them in time.
So she concentrated on what she had at hand, such as Zeppeli's physical and stealth abilities, which suited her well.
Although she could now understand the strange power the protagonists had, it was a hard blow to see Jojo master so many complicated things on the first try and perform them with fluency soon after.
This made her understand something, she was not the protagonist, yes she traveled in time, but apart from her and a few recorded in stories, how many thousands, if not millions of others reincarnated in infinity? In places outside Paradise access, is out of touch with these 'systems', 'ROB', and other things.
Although she had read about Reincarnation Paradise, she could now feel it for herself, her being was only a little more special because of the resources the park required of her, otherwise her only 'advantage' was that she knew some details that generally level 1 people like her were not supposed to know.
Predicting the future? Guessing or keeping the plot going? That shit doesn't work here! Nor was it supposed to work on these 'familiar' worlds. So she used these three weeks to complete her secondary tasks and learn as much as she could.
Because whatever world came next, she would leave a psychological shadow on all the contractors who entered it.
