Chapter 6 - The Battle Against the Elemental Master, Part Three

‏Chapter Six :The Battle Against the Elemental Master, Part Three

While the Elemental Masters dispersed and surrounded the young dragon, who had no idea that human masters were near, the Elemental Masters themselves were unaware that another ice dragon, identical in description except for its height of about 5 meters, was watching them from a nearby hill. Its blue eyes burned with unprecedented fury and a murderous intent.

Five minutes later, the Elemental Masters dispersed to their positions, ready for the attack. All they were waiting for now was the arrival of the Elemental Master with seven pearls, who was not only the strongest among them but also the most experienced in dealing with spiritual beasts.

With cautious steps, they prepared for the attack, but suddenly, Master Li felt something strange. He quickly looked around, trying to detect the source of this feeling, but he couldn't see anything unusual.

At that moment, a deafening roar rose from a nearby hill, making the ice tremble beneath their feet. Everyone turned in fear to find another Ice Dragon, but this one was much larger than the target dragon.

This dragon was even more terrifying, standing at 5 meters tall, with glowing blue eyes radiating murderous rage.

Master Li spoke in shock: "Impossible! This is an Ice Dragon that's no less than 3000 years old!"

They had no time to think. The larger dragon charged toward them with lightning speed, opening its mouth to unleash a storm of ice and crystal shards toward the group. Master Li shouted, "Be careful! Retreat immediately!"

But the attack was too fast. Before they could react, the storm covered the entire area, making escape nearly impossible.

This moment marked the beginning of an uneven battle, where survival would not only depend on strength but also on luck and a strong will. Master Li said, "Fifth spiritual skill: Ice Spears."

Master Li immediately launched his attack using the fifth spiritual skill, as it was the only long-range attack available to him.

However, he wasn't afraid of killing the smaller Ice Dragon directly; the primary strength of this dragon lay in its speed and its ability to control the ice element, not its defensive capabilities.

However, its defense power was close to that of spiritual beasts over 6000 years old.

Thus, it was unlikely to sustain serious damage from the first attack.

To ensure success, Master Li requested support from the rest of the group. He would even risk the life of the smaller dragon to have a chance of survival.

"Ice Skating Technique."

"Flying Spear Technique."

Another Elemental Master said, "The Ice Arrow that pierces mountains."

The master formed a glowing ice bow and shot an arrow aimed at the dragon.

When the attack began, the White Dragon suddenly awoke.

What amazed the Elemental Masters was that the dragon didn't try to flee from the ice storm that engulfed the area or even glance at them.

As the elemental skills neared and broke through the ice storm, the masters began to suspect that something was wrong.

The large white dragon absorbed the attacks completely while protecting the other dragon.

The only one who noticed the dragon's movement before the others was the Elemental Master with six pearls, who was advanced in age. However, before he could warn the group, he felt a deadly danger approaching from behind.

Without hesitation, he used his elemental skill: "Ice Shield," which doubled his defensive power for half an hour. However, it wasn't enough, as a massive ice spike pierced his body from beneath the snow.

He was lucky to survive, but the same couldn't be said for the rest of the group.

The Elemental Master with five pearls sensed something wrong just moments before the attack, but he wasn't quick enough to avoid the sudden strike.

An ice spike pierced his body from behind, shattering his pelvis and exiting through his stomach.

The remaining Elemental Masters, who were too slow to react, were hit by similar attacks; the ice spikes pierced them before they even sensed the danger.

"Aaaah!"

Simultaneous screams came from three directions, but after a few moments, silence fell. Smaller ice spikes than the main ones grew around them, turning the Elemental Masters into lifeless bodies.

Upon seeing what had happened, Master Li's face instantly turned pale.

Only extremely powerful spiritual beasts could eliminate three Elemental Masters so quickly.

As Master Li desperately thought about how to protect the young master, the ice storm cleared to reveal a terrifying sight.

A massive Ice Dragon, standing five meters tall, majestically stood before them, shielding the smaller dragon with its wide wings.

Its body shimmered as if covered in crystalline ice scales, and its eyes blazed with rage and murderous intent.

Master Li spoke in a trembling voice: "The Ice Dragon… over 5000 years old…"

Even the smaller Ice Dragon, which is a thousand years old, is considered a rare and fast creature that rivals 10,000-year-old spiritual beasts in speed, though it isn't as strong. However, the larger Ice Dragon standing before him now is among the strongest spiritual beasts at an epic level.

Master Li muttered to himself: "The Ice Dragon that's 5000 years old can face spiritual beasts that are 10,000 years old or more. I have no chance against it."

Before he could decide to flee, the larger Ice Dragon lunged forward with lightning speed. Master Li had no choice but to fight; he wasn't fast enough to escape. Moreover, the dragon's gaze reflected a murderous resolve, making survival nearly impossible.

Master Li screamed in a final attempt: "Ice Barrier! Frost Scales skill!"

With a loud roar, Master Li unleashed all of his remaining

enhancement spiritual skills. His body was enveloped by a thick layer of icy scales, forming a strong shield around him, and then he charged toward the dragon in a desperate attempt to attack.

Within three seconds, Master Li had closed the gap between him and the dragon to just five meters. As he prepared to deliver his final blow, the dragon suddenly turned and slapped him with its enormous tail.

Master Li was sent flying through the air for over thirty meters and crashed violently to the ground. Though he managed to stand up with difficulty, he began coughing violently, blood spilling from his mouth.

On the surface, it seemed like he hadn't suffered significant damage, but the internal injuries were catastrophic. Several ribs had shattered, piercing his lungs, making breathing heavy and painful.

Realizing that his chances of survival were zero, he steeled himself for a final suicidal attack. He could barely stand, but before he could execute his plan, the dragon's tail shot out like lightning, piercing his chest completely.

His final moments bore witness to the ferocity and power of the dragon, which stood victorious, unrivaled.
